Peerless Divine Doctor

Chapter 2193: Chapter 2194: Return to the Dragon Clan

How could Ye Luo not understand their feelings, but what could he do!

”I followed you across thousands of miles to the inland, and I never planned to return overseas. Even if I do go back, it will be with you!” the Princess said resolutely.

”Yes, I came out from the Divine Healer Valley and entrusted my life to you. Now you are going to the Dragon Clan alone, what should we do!” the Saintess also said.

”Of course, we won’t interfere with your decisions, but we also won’t obey your arrangements!” the Saintess added.

This left Ye Luo speechless.

”Young master, after spending time with you, we feel you are a trustworthy person. Don’t think our formations are magical; without you, we might have already perished. So, we will wait for you, unless, unless we receive definitive news of your misfortune, otherwise, we will guard this aerial city, waiting for your return!” Samo Two said.

This deeply moved Ye Luo.

”In that case, I will wait here for your return!” said the Princess.

The others, clearly shared the same sentiment!

This left Ye Luo feeling slightly troubled inside.

”So... alright!” was all he could say.

Upon leaving the aerial city, he headed directly to the Dragon Clan. It wasn’t too far, and what he had to guard against were the returnees only.

Fortunately, the aerial city’s concealment was rather good; no one noticed, so naturally no one followed him.

He reached the Dragon Clan’s territory smoothly and safely, where it was naturally safer.

However, Ye Luo’s heart still felt apprehensive, as his journey to the Dragon Clan held uncertain outcomes.

But just shortly after he entered the Dragon Clan’s territory, several Dragon Clan strongmen appeared before him!

These few were clearly already Heavenly Martial Realm strongmen, and due to their race, the Dragon Clan’s strongmen generally had greater power than strongmen of the same realm from other races!

Thus, surrounded by these people, Ye Luo basically had no hopes of escape!

Only, he didn’t quite understand, clearly he hadn’t informed the Dragon Clan of his coming! And he wouldn’t be foolish enough to do so!

So if the Dragon Clan knew, there must have been trickery in the communication!

That’s it, it’s Ao Long’s communication! Based on Ao Long’s personality, why would he send communication to Ye Luo?

However, having reached this point, Ye Luo had no choice.

”Let’s go, the Dragon Kings are all waiting for you!”

These few Dragon Clan strongmen didn’t do anything excessive, in fact, their tone was relatively friendly.

After all, Ye Luo was also from the Dragon Clan, which somewhat calmed his mood.

Returning to Dragon Island again, his emotions were inevitably mixed. When he first left here, his future was uncertain, life or death unknown! And amusingly enough, returning here again felt just the same.

The Dragon Kings didn’t choose to see him; instead, they took him to his previous dwelling!

However, the Dragon Clan’s Princess naturally didn’t come to serve him.

It seemed, the excuse of bloodline inheritance at that time, was probably not true.

For three days, he didn’t get to meet the Dragon Kings, and strongmen guarded outside, not allowing Ye Luo to move freely! This made him furious! Treating him as what? A prisoner?

Finally, a Dragon King was willing to meet him.

Originally, he thought it would be the Floating Dragon King or the Wandering Dragon King, but it was neither; it was an elderly Dragon King!

Ye Luo didn’t even know that the Dragon Clan had such an old Dragon King who could barely walk!

Never had he seen him before!

Moreover, Ye Luo wickedly wondered, could it be that the other Dragon Kings had all perished?

Clearly, that was impossible; surely there was no force strong enough in the Sixth Region!

”Young man, you’ve come!” the old Dragon King uttered muddily.

Ye Luo nodded slightly, ”I don’t know why the Dragon King called me here?”

After all, the Dragon Clan had already played sly with him, so he wasn’t bothering about etiquette anymore.

”Ah, actually, there’s nothing in particular, we just thought you seemed quite bored. The other Dragon Kings are too busy, so I invited you out to sit and chat!”

That remark from the old Dragon King almost made Ye Luo spew blood in anger.

This old dragon really knew how to play tricks!

Alright, Ye Luo wasn’t too anxious, only he eagerly wanted to know one thing.

”Since it’s like this, I would like to know, I had a friend named Yun Yin before, how is she now?”

The old dragon’s cloudy eyes looked at Ye Luo, ”Yun Yin, I don’t know of anyone in the Dragon Clan with that name!”

Damn it! Ye Luo cursed inwardly, clearly pretending to be ignorant.

Since it was like this, there was no point in continuing the conversation.

He didn’t say more, got up, and headed outside.

”Hey, young man, you’re too hasty. Based on the Dragon Clan’s character, do you really think we would commit such nefarious acts?” the old Dragon King suddenly sighed.

Ye Luo snorted inwardly, haven’t they done enough? But he still paused.

”I, the old dragon, have lived this long, can I really deceive you? The Dragon Clan is truly busy now, which is why we can’t attend to you, but I reckon the Floating Dragon King and others will return in a few days.”

Hmm? Ye Luo raised his head in doubt.

”Aren’t they on Dragon Island now?”

”Naturally, they are not here!”

But clearly, the old dragon didn’t want to say more.

Moreover, this time, the old dragon truly seemed to have thought Ye Luo had stayed too long, which was why he let him out for some fresh air. But Ye Luo had nothing to chat with him about, he might as well return to his place.

However, on his way back to his dwelling, Ye Luo did notice that Dragon Island was indeed different from before.

Previously, the Dragon Clan members were quite lazy individually, but now, they were alert, and even when he occasionally saw Dragon Clan members, they appeared hurried.

Was this! A transition to battle preparedness?

So, the Dragon Clan must be at war with some force! Could it be the returnees? Unlikely, the returnees weren’t foolish enough to provoke the Dragon Clan!

Anyway, guessing wasn’t clear, and under such circumstances, Ye Luo couldn’t move freely, thus he could only return to his cabin.

This scenario continued for several more days, and finally, the Floating Dragon King returned.

”Ha ha, Ye Luo, apologies for returning late, sorry to make you endure grievance here!” The Floating Dragon King personally came to visit him.

And his tone greatly surprised Ye Luo.

Still, Ye Luo was unsure of his true attitude; just judging from the tone wasn’t enough, so he chose to remain silent.

”Ha ha, seems like you’re still upset, come on, let’s head to the hall, to have a good talk!”

Once in the grand hall, the Floating Dragon King sat down with Ye Luo, and there were no outsiders.

Ye Luo understood that this was a formal discussion with the Dragon Clan.
