Peerless Divine Doctor

Chapter 1254: Chapter 1254: Going Out

At dusk, Zhang Qian and Zhang Bowen were tidying up, preparing to close for the day, when Ye Luo proposed that he wanted to go out and have a look around.

Naturally, no one would stop him. On the contrary, if this was Ye Luo’s first visit to Wa Kingdom and he was staying in Huaxia Village without wanting to go out and see the place, that would actually be quite odd.

Zhang Qian had already returned all of Ye Luo’s belongings to him.

Thus, not long after Ye Luo stepped out, he made a phone call!

This call was not made to the Security Bureau’s personnel in Wa Kingdom but to someone from Dragon Pavilion!

With the strength Ye Luo now possessed, controlling both Dragon Pavilion and Ye Alliance, he didn’t need to handle everything personally. A command from him was enough, and others would take care of it naturally.

Moreover, both Dragon Pavilion and Ye Alliance were incredibly powerful.

In fact, it was Dragon Pavilion that first discovered the information regarding Yamaguchi Momoe.

However, this was Wa Kingdom after all, so even Dragon Pavilion could not possibly wield too much overwhelming power here.

In Wa Kingdom, Dragon Pavilion had only sent a small team while the actual work was done by hired locals.

When the phone was answered, a voice came through from the other end with utmost respect: ”Master!”

Ye Luo hadn’t changed his phone, but the number had been tampered with. Corpse King Palace could track the signal of Ye Luo’s phone, and if Ye Luo used his original number, people from Corpse King Palace would immediately discover it.

Therefore, Ye Luo altered his original cell phone number. Now, although his phone only showed one SIM card, it actually had three numbers: one number was still the old one, used to deceive Corpse King Palace.

Another was the number Ye Luo was using now, known only to a select few.

As for the third, it was an emergency number, known only to a very few, to be used when Ye Luo was in danger and needed support. Of course, perhaps Ye Luo would never need to use this third number.

Ye Luo’s tone was calm as he directly asked, ”How are things on your end?”

”Reporting to Master, we have taken control of a local from Wa Kingdom, who has successfully infiltrated Amaterasu Shrine. According to our insider’s report, Miss Yamaguchi is indeed within the Amaterasu Shrine,” said the disciple of Dragon Pavilion respectfully.

Ye Luo slightly furrowed his brows, Amaterasu Shrine!

Before coming to Wa Kingdom, he only received Dragon Pavilion’s report that they had found Yamaguchi Momoe’s whereabouts, but he did not expect her to be located within Amaterasu Shrine.

Recalling the Goddess of Amaterasu Shrine, it seemed that Ye Luo understood something.

”Good job, you’ve done well. I didn’t expect you to even infiltrate the Amaterasu Shrine. Continue surveillance, and inform me immediately if there’s any situation. I’m currently preoccupied, but I’ll come to rescue Yamaguchi Momoe in a few days!”

”Yes, Master, we will arrange everything accordingly.”

After he finished speaking, Ye Luo hung up the phone. Knowing that Yamaguchi Momoe was inside the Amaterasu Shrine meant that she was not in immediate danger. What Ye Luo needed to do now was to investigate the activities of the Corpse King Palace branch!

Although he was unsure about the authenticity of this information, only an investigation would reveal the truth. If discovered by Ye Luo, he would definitely eliminate the Corpse King Palace branch!

Of course, even if he didn’t find the Corpse King Palace branch, Ye Luo would still deal with the Genetically Modified People research institute in Wa Kingdom!

If Wa Kingdom joined forces with Goryeo Kingdom, the technology for Genetically Modified People would definitely make significant advances.

Neither Wa Kingdom nor Goryeo Kingdom had real experts comparable to the might of Huaxia, which was why they resorted to such cunning and underhanded tactics.

However, with Ye Luo’s arrival, all their schemes were bound to collapse!

This time, Ye Luo had not informed anyone of his visit, not even the agents from the Security Bureau!

He knew all too well that there were too many people out there who wanted him dead.

The agents of the Security Bureau were reliable, but who could guarantee that once that specialized department was established, the Hidden Sect or those worldly powers that wanted Ye Luo dead wouldn’t infiltrate the Security Bureau?

If Ye Luo were to leak his whereabouts, even he could not assure what would happen.

That’s why Ye Luo, as of now, preferred to operate alone.

Of course, Ye Luo had already acquired his own strength!

In fact, upon taking charge of Dragon Pavilion and Ye Alliance, he also took over their entire network, including their intelligence system.

It could be said that the intelligence network Ye Luo currently controlled was in no way inferior to that of the specialized department.

Ye Luo casually pulled out a map, which had been marked with the suspected locations of the Genetically Modified People research institutes and potential Corpse King Palace branches, along with clearly noted suspicion levels.

Ye Luo now knew that his current location was in a coastal rural area of Nagano in Wa Kingdom. Although cities were not densely packed in Wa Kingdom, the area was relatively developed.

Yet these were not the key points. What was crucial was that there was a suspected target in Nagano, albeit with only a second-level suspicion.

Looking up at the sky, Ye Luo didn’t take immediate action but instead returned to Zhang Qian’s house.

Zhang Qian was harsh in mouth but soft at heart, and staying in Huaxia Village was the best cover for Ye Luo’s identity. Hence, with Zhang Qian’s tacit approval, Ye Luo directly moved into her house.

The next morning, Ye Luo said to Zhang Bowen, ”Uncle, I plan to go out and see if I can find a job. I might not come back for lunch!”

”Alright, go ahead. But, Xiao Ye, finding work in Wa Kingdom is not as easy as in our Huaxia. You might as well help me at my clinic, considering that sooner or later you and my daughter, Xiao Qian, will be family. This little clinic will belong to you two in the future anyway...”

”Dad, what are you talking about? Who is going to be family with him! Humph!”

Unexpectedly, Zhang Qian had already come out, and Zhang Bowen quickly signaled Ye Luo with his eyes. Ye Luo, understanding the hint, headed straight for the door.

”Stop right there!”

But before Ye Luo could leave, he was called back by Zhang Qian!

This girl was no easy pushover. Ye Luo believed that if he dared to continue walking out now, she would chase him for two blocks. Therefore, it was best for Ye Luo to obediently stand still.

Ye Luo thought Zhang Qian would launch into a critique, but instead, she just asked in confusion: ”Where are you going so early in the morning?”

”Well, I was thinking of going out to see if I could find a job!”

”Find a job? with your qualifications? Do you have Wa Kingdom residency? Can you speak the language here? Do you even know your way around? With the way you are now, and you’re going to look for a job?”

The fiery girl was indeed feisty, sparing no mercy in her rebuke.

Ye Luo felt embarrassed. To think that there would be a day when even he, Ye Luo, would be looked down upon like this!

Could it really be so difficult for him, Ye Luo, to find a job?

Of course, Ye Luo’s trip to Wa Kingdom was not really in search of employment, and it seemed he might actually let this fiery girl smugly have the upper hand.
