Chapter 1111: Chapter 1111: Became a Billionaire

”Is that so? Well then, I’m sorry to say, but you’re fired. You can get the hell out of here now.”

Ye Luo looked at this Director Du with an icy tone.

When Director Du heard Ye Luo’s words, he was startled, and a hint of astonishment flashed in his eyes. He said, ”Kid, what are you talking about? Do you know who I am? Do you know what my position is? Just based on what you say?”

”I said you’re fired, so get the hell out immediately.”

Ye Luo coldly commanded.

”Hahaha!”

Director Du burst into laughter, looking at Ye Luo with a face full of mockery.

”Kid, I think your head must have been caught in a door. To think you can fire me, you’re really delusional. Do you think you’re the CEO of Mei Yue Company?”

Director Du looked at Ye Luo with a mocking and disdainful expression, his eyes full of contempt. As a senior executive at Mei Yue, firing him would require the CEO’s personal signature; otherwise, nobody had the authority to fire him.

”I believe the CEO will heed my words, and you will certainly be fired today,” Ye Luo said with a confident smile.

”Humph, ridiculous! I am the Marketing Director of Mei Yue Company, a senior executive at Mei Yue. You think a mere word from you can get me fired, that’s utterly nonsensical!”

Director Du shook his head repeatedly, his face full of disdain. This young nobody who had suddenly appeared probably had no idea how a big company’s system worked. Who did he think he was? That he could fire someone with just one sentence?

Not to mention him— even a lower-level employee couldn’t be fired so arbitrarily.

Just as Director Du finished speaking, another cold voice sounded.

”Director Du, he’s right, you have been fired by Mei Yue.”

Li Wanqin walked over and said to Director Du with a cool tone.

Hearing Li Wanqin’s words, Director Du was genuinely stunned. His eyes flickered as he said, ”Manager Li, you’re not joking, are you? Today isn’t April Fool’s Day; this joke isn’t funny.”

Li Wanqin was a rising star at Mei Yue, and in terms of power and status, she ranked even higher than him, the director. He could ignore Ye Luo completely, but he dared not disregard Li Wanqin.

So when he heard Li Wanqin personally utter those words of dismissal, he couldn’t help but panic a little. But he still refused to believe it. Could this kid truly represent the CEO of Mei Yue? That was impossible!

”I am not joking. His word represents the CEO’s word. If he says you’re fired, then you are indeed fired.”

Li Wanqin spoke in a stern voice.

At that moment, Director Du’s face completely changed, his pupils contracted, as he blurted out, ”Impossible, you’re lying to me, how can he possibly represent the CEO? I am a Mei Yue meritorious figure; the CEO would never fire me.”

”This is what the CEO wants, and besides, he is the second-largest shareholder in Mei Yue Company, holding forty percent of the shares. Do you think he can fire you?”

Li Wanqin spoke again.

”Impossible, impossible!”

Hearing Li Wanqin’s words, Director Du’s body shook violently, his face filled with disbelief. His expression kept changing. This careless young man was Mei Yue’s major shareholder? How had he never encountered such a major shareholder? With forty percent of the shares, did he even comprehend how much wealth that represented?

”I’m going to see the CEO! You all just wait!”

Saying this, Director Du went to find Luo Jingxuan. When he heard from Luo Jingxuan’s own mouth that he had indeed been fired, he lost all hope. No matter how much he didn’t want to believe it, the truth was the truth.

He couldn’t imagine that all he did was say a few words to this young kid, and he ended up smashing the job he had obtained with such difficulty.

This was truly a case of one wrong step, and everything was irretrievable.

”Xiaoyan, if you encounter such a thing again in the future, go straight to Jingxuan; don’t be afraid!”

Li Wanqin’s gaze was on Lin Xiaoyan as she spoke.

”Right, Xiaoyan, remember that apart from the CEO and a few of us like Wan Qin here, you’re the biggest one in this company. If someone has any designs or indecent intentions towards you, you must speak up immediately and never feel embarrassed.”

Ye Luo looked at Lin Xiaoyan and instructed.

”Mhm, I got it, Big Brother Ye!” nodded Lin Xiaoyan.

”By the way, what’s the deal with Wan Qin’s forty percent shareholding?”

Ye Luo’s gaze suddenly turned to Li Wanqin.

”This was arranged by Jingxuan, because without those few products of yours, Mei Yue wouldn’t be where it is today. So, Jingxuan deliberately transferred forty percent of Mei Yue Company’s shares to you. Now, every month you don’t have to do anything and you’ve got billions flowing into your account.”

Li Wanqin spoke indifferently.

”Doesn’t that make me a billionaire now?”

Ye Luo laughed lightly.

”Of course, you’re now a rich big boss.”

Li Wanqin looked at Ye Luo with a playful smile.

”Alright, missy, I’m gonna keep you.”

Ye Luo flashed a roguishly charming smile at Li Wanqin, his eyes sparkling.

”Shut up! What rubbish are you spouting? I’ve got more than enough money!”

Li Wanqin gave Ye Luo an annoyed look.

After spending over an hour at Mei Yue, Ye Luo arrived at Ling Corporation.

Since the people at Ling Corporation all knew Ye Luo, this time no one stopped him from entering.

Ye Luo went straight to the floor where Ling Qingya was, and headed towards her office.

”Mr. Ye!”

Ling Qingya’s secretary, Zhou Siqi, stood up and addressed him as she saw Ye Luo.

”Qing Ya’s inside, isn’t she?”

Ye Luo said blandly.

Zhou Siqi nodded, and Ye Luo walked right in, only to find no one in the office.

Scanning the room, Ye Luo quickly noticed a side door to a small room. With a glance of his Clairvoyant Eye, he immediately froze, swallowing hard at what he saw.

The small room turned out to be a lavish mini lounge, especially adorned with a floor-to-ceiling glass window that offered a sweeping view of the landscape outside, overlooking the entire world below. It was stunning indeed, befitting of a CEO’s office and a CEO’s lounge.

Ah!

Suddenly the door burst open, and Ling Qingya let out a scream. When her eyes caught sight of Ye Luo, she relaxed slightly.

However, thinking about her current state, her face flushed with a shy expression as she said, ”Why are you here? And why did you barge in suddenly?”

”I came to see you, and I didn’t expect to stumble upon such a beautiful scene. We’re an old married couple now, why are you still blushing at the sight of me!”

Ye Luo looked at Ling Qingya with a mischievously charming smile.

With her face turning crimson, Ling Qingya glared at Ye Luo fiercely and said, ”What nonsense are you talking about? Get out quick, I need to change clothes.”

Ye Luo then closed the door of the lounge and approached Ling Qingya.

”What are you doing?”

Ling Qingya watched Ye Luo coming closer, surprised.
