Peerless Divine Doctor

Chapter 1012: Chapter 112: Blood Disaster

It seemed to be only his second time taking a train, the first being when he came to Zhonghai, during which he met the sisters Liu Shiyun and saved Liu Xiner.

Thinking of these sisters, Ye Luo suddenly felt he was missing these beauties a bit, as they were the first stunning women he met after coming down from the mountain, naturally leaving an impression on him.

However, since he had gone to Capital City, he hadn’t seen the sisters, and this trip to Zhonghai hadn’t offered him the chance to meet them either. He wondered how the two women were doing now.

”I wonder if I’ll meet some beauties on this train ride as well?”

Ye Luo secretly guessed, although he wished for beauties to sit next to him again, reality was working against him.

Next to him sat just an old lady, and sitting across was a man who seemed nearly thirty, dressed in a suit, a typical businessman, absolutely devoid of any beauties.

”Sir, I see a malevolent aura haunting your brows; It seems troubles are brewing ahead for you. Shall I read your fortune?”

Just then, a man dressed in a Taoist robe, posing as a fortuneteller, appeared, looking at the man in the suit with a serious expression.

”Sorry, I don’t believe in fortune telling!”

The man in the suit said with a smile, shaking his head.

”Sir, you must think I’m a con artist, right? Well, how about I give you a free fortune reading?”

The Taoist said, closing his eyes, his fingers making precise gestures. After several seconds, he opened his eyes and declared:

”Sir, you must be Hu Haoming, thirty years old, and also the boss of a company, am I right?”

”How did you know?”

The man in the suit, upon hearing this, was momentarily stunned, his eyes filled with astonishment.

”Now you should believe in my ability, right? If you still don’t believe, then forget it. However, a severe misfortune is about to happen to you, and if it is not resolved, it might impact your destiny for life,” said the Taoist seriously.

Immediately, the man in the suit’s complexion changed, his gaze flickering as he hesitated for a moment before speaking, ”Please, sir, tell me how can I resolve this misfortune.”

”This task of divining one’s fate, if done correctly, can cause severe damage to my health, you see...”

The Taoist spoke, stretching out his left hand, his index finger and thumb rubbing together in a very standard gesture for requesting money.

The man in the suit paused, then nodded. ”I see. Sir, may I ask how much will this cost?”

”Not much, just one hundred thousand!”

The Taoist said earnestly.

”Fine!” The man in the suit agreed without a second thought, and at that moment, a gleam of delight flashed in the Taoist’s eyes.

”You’re quite skilled at fooling people, aren’t you? Quite the expert indeed!”

Suddenly, Ye Luo’s languid voice resounded, his eyes looking amusedly at the Taoist.

The Taoist’s expression changed, his gaze turning somewhat gloomy as he looked at Ye Luo: ”Young man, what do you mean by that?”

”I mean, your scamming skills are impressive. You deserve an Oscar; it’s a shame they haven’t awarded you a little golden man for your performance,” Ye Luo sneered.

”Don’t talk nonsense; you’re insulting my reputation!”

The Taoist glared at Ye Luo furiously, while the suit-clad man, now coming to his senses, looked at Ye Luo. ”Young man, are you saying he is a con artist?”

”Of course, he is a con artist. There’s no such thing as a real fortune-telling master in this world. If he truly knew fortunes, he wouldn’t be here.”

Ye Luo said disdainfully.

”But how did he know...” The man in the suit began, his eyes flickering uncertainly.

”Are you wondering how he knew your information? You were asleep earlier, and he took the opportunity to look through your document bag, where your information was on the files,” Ye Luo explained.

Upon hearing this, the suit-clad man’s complexion changed, and he quickly looked down to check his document bag by his side. Upon opening it and seeing his information indeed on the topmost document, he glared at the Taoist, his face full of anger.

At that moment, the Taoist’s expression grew very unpleasant as he looked at the man in the suit. ”You mustn’t believe his words; he is just talking nonsense.”

”Really, then guess my name?”

Ye Luo continued to speak to the Taoist.

”You kid...”

The Taoist, with a face full of anger, stared at Ye Luo, ”Kid, shut your mouth, or I won’t be polite.”

”Oh, Taoists know how to fight these days? Did you foresee your own bloody disaster coming up?”

Ye Luo looked at him with a playful smile.

Huh?

The Taoist looked at Ye Luo with a puzzled face.

Bang!

Ye Luo swung a punch, hitting him right in the nose, causing blood to splatter everywhere.

Soon, the train security came over. The man in the suit explained what had happened, and the Taoist was unluckily taken away.

”Young man, thank you. If it weren’t for you, I might have been scammed,”

said the man in the suit, looking at Ye Luo with a grateful face.

”Don’t mention it; I was just playing around,”

Ye Luo said nonchalantly.

”Anyway, I’d like to thank you. My name is Hu Haoming. Here is my business card. You must be going to Su City too. If you need any help there, feel free to find me.”

Hu Haoming took out a silver business card and gave it to Ye Luo.

Ye Luo glanced at the card; Tianhe Group Chairman Hu Haoming.

”I didn’t expect you to be a chairman of a group at just thirty, impressive!”

Ye Luo said with a smile, casually storing the business card.

”It’s just some minor success, mostly luck,”

said Hu Haoming with a smiling face.

Afterward, the two casually chatted throughout the train ride, passing the time onboard.

Finally, after a long journey, the train arrived in Su City, and Hu Haoming and Ye Luo disembarked.

”Brother Ye, what brings you to Su City? Do you need any help?”

Hu Haoming asked as they got off the train.

”No need, goodbye,”

Ye Luo waved his hand and left.

...

Huaxia, Jiu Hua Sect.

In the Jiu Hua Sect’s council hall, a leading authority of the Hidden Sect, a group of people were gathered.

The leader, a man in a brocade robe with a square face and dignified appearance, exuding an invisible aura of power and intimidating his surrounds, was none other than the Sect Leader Xie Yuquan.

Flanking him were several elders of the Jiu Hua Sect. In the middle stood Bai Yu, Die Wu, and Hou Jingwu.

”Die Wu, your waking up this time is a great blessing for our Jiu Hua Sect. After discussions with the elders and myself, we have decided to have you marry Bai Yu.”

Standing next to Xie Yuquan was an old man with silver hair and a solemn face, none other than the Second Elder of the Jiu Hua Sect, and also Bai Yu’s master.
