Peerless Divine Doctor

However, Lin Tianhai, after not having walked for over a decade, was somewhat uncoordinated and shaky on his feet, so Ye Luo quickly steadied him.

Ultimately, Lin Tianhai took his first steps on solid ground after such a long time in a wheelchair, managing to walk more than ten meters.

”I can walk, I can walk, I finally can walk!”

Lin Tianhai called out excitedly, his long-suppressed emotions finally bursting forth, his face alight with exhilaration.

”Dad! That’s wonderful!”

Lin Xiaoyan rushed over excitedly and hugged Lin Tianhai tightly while Du Huixian stood to the side, her hand covering her mouth, crying tears of joy.

Seeing this, a faint smile appeared on Ye Luo’s lips.

”Dad, you’ve finally recovered!”

Lin Xiaoyan released Lin Tianhai, ecstatically proclaiming.

”Yes, I never thought this day would come, but we have to thank Xiaoluo for all of this. Without Ye Luo, how could today have been possible.”

Lin Tianhai remarked, then turned his gaze toward Ye Luo.

”Xiaoluo, I don’t know how to express it, but I must say you are the savior of my life, Lin Tianhai. Thank you.”

Lin Tianhai said, bowing deeply to Ye Luo.

”Uncle Lin, what are you doing? There’s no need for such formality.”

”Ye Big Brother, thank you!”

Lin Xiaoyan’s eyes sparkled as she gazed at Ye Luo.

”Enough now, Xiaoyan and I are friends, and this help wasn’t much. Uncle Lin, if you just keep exercising for a few more days, your ability to move will return to normal.”

”That’s great, Xiaoluo, I’m going to cook now, stay and have dinner with us,” Du Huixian said happily.

”Mom, I’ll help you!”

Lin Xiaoyan quickly offered as well.

Soon after, Lin Xiaoyan followed her mother into the kitchen to start cooking.

”Uncle Lin, although your legs have recovered, you still have hidden injuries that can affect your strength. I would like to help you remove those as well,” Ye Luo said to Lin Tianhai.

”Xiaoluo, you’ve already cured my legs; to ask you to treat my hidden injuries is too much trouble. Besides, these injuries have built up over more than a decade; it won’t be easy to heal them all at once,” Lin Tianhai said, frowning slightly.

”Don’t worry, this is just a small task for me,” Ye Luo said, with a confident smile on his lips.

Ye Luo then began to treat the hidden injuries in Lin Tianhai’s body, which had resulted from a fight more than a decade ago and had lingered within him ever since.

If not for his own powerful strength, Lin Tianhai might not have lived to see this day, but because of this, his strength was greatly suppressed.

Ye Luo performed a set of acupuncture techniques, using Nine Yang True Qi to repair the organs damaged by the hidden injuries. After about fifteen minutes, as Lin Tianhai spat out a mouthful of black blood, a strong gust of energy burst from his body, pushing even Ye Luo back several steps.

This aura had already reached the Innate Middle Stage, and this wasn’t even the full extent of Lin Tianhai’s strength.

Ye Luo could sense that Lin Tianhai’s peak strength was at least at the Innate Late Stage, or possibly Innate Peak Stage—and that was from over a decade ago.

Had Lin Tianhai not been injured then, his strength would likely have surpassed the Innate Realm by now. From this, Ye Luo also guessed that Lin Tianhai and Du Huixian were not ordinary people, as even Du Huixian possessed the strength of the Innate Middle Stage, which she kept hidden and never showed.

This couple clearly harbored a tremendous secret, but Ye Luo had no desire to probe into it.

”My wounds have truly all healed, Little Luo, you really are a Divine Doctor.”

Lin Tianhai looked at Ye Luo with an expression of amazement and admiration, his heart startled by Ye Luo’s medical skills. Such skills would probably be considered first-rate even in that place.

”Uncle Lin, your internal injuries have recovered, and if you rest well for a dozen or so days, your strength should be completely restored.”

Ye Luo said indifferently.

Soon, Ye Luo sat down for dinner once again with Lin Xiaoyan’s family. After dinner, Lin Xiaoyan personally saw Ye Luo off.

”This kid is indeed no ordinary person!”

Lin Tianhai sighed slightly, his eyes twinkling with a strange light.

”Yes, if it weren’t for him, Tianhai, you’d still be sitting in a wheelchair right now. Even among the Hidden Sects, probably only those from the Elixir Sect could compare with his medical skills.”

Du Huixian looked somewhat conflicted.

”Anyway, now that I’ve recovered, I’ll be able to properly protect you and Xiaoyan. I hope we can continue to live a peaceful life like this,” said Lin Tianhai with a note of longing.

Lin Xiaoyan escorted Ye Luo out of the apartment building, her eyes fixed on Ye Luo, shining with a tinge of special emotion.

”Thank you, Big Brother Ye!” Lin Xiaoyan’s tone was sincere, her gaze affectionately fixed on Ye Luo.

Seeing Lin Xiaoyan’s expression, Ye Luo felt somewhat awkward, as if she was looking at him the way a girlfriend looks at her boyfriend.

”Xiaoyan, you don’t need to be so formal,” Ye Luo said casually.

But Lin Xiaoyan stepped forward impulsively and hugged Ye Luo tightly, their bodies pressing together without a gap, which took Ye Luo by surprise.

Last time she’d forcefully kissed him, and now a forceful hug – Ye Luo was somewhat at a loss for what to do.

”Big Brother Ye, you really are the noble person in my life,” said Lin Xiaoyan, releasing Ye Luo and fixing her gaze on him, her face blushing once again.

Ye Luo looked into Lin Xiaoyan’s eyes, unsure of what to say.

For a moment, neither of them spoke, just standing silently, eye to eye, as an unusual atmosphere filled the air, fostering feelings reminiscent of the stirrings of spring.

The two stared at each other, and unconsciously, their heads began to draw closer, as if about to kiss.

However, at this critical moment, Ye Luo’s phone ringtone abruptly sounded, snapping them both out of the moment. Lin Xiaoyan quickly averted her gaze, blushing shyly.

”Who the hell is this, ruining the mood?”

Ye Luo muttered helplessly, then pulled out his phone to see it was Situ Luoyun calling.

”Hello, is there a problem?” Ye Luo answered the phone hastily.

”Young Master Ye, did I interrupt something good?”

Situ Luoyun’s voice on the other end seemed to know something, her tone full of innuendo.

Ye Luo couldn’t help but quickly glance around, wondering if this woman was nearby, otherwise how could she be so accurate.

”Miss Situ, let’s get to the point,”

Ye Luo said, rolling his eyes and cutting to the chase.

”Didn’t you ask me to check on the whereabouts of Poisonous Scorpion and his gang? I’ve found out.”

Ye Luo’s eyes suddenly sharpened, an icy look flashing in them, as he said, ”We’ll talk about it later.”
