Wilderness Survival with Druid System

The main task following is processing the wild boar and bringing it back to the makeshift campsite.

Chen Wen and Hua Yun discussed and decided to drag the wild boar back to the camp using sleds, then set off in another direction.

Otherwise, carrying so much prey would be too cumbersome.

Chen Wen asked Hua Yun to wash the spear while he dragged the wild boar, which had died on the opposite riverbank, to the river’s edge. He then took out a dagger and began processing the boar right there.

He planned to wrap the meat in its skin for transport.

Moreover, the boar’s wound was too large.

After the spear penetrated it, the internal organs were rendered unusable.

Thus, after cleaning everything off, the wild boar wasn’t excessively heavy.

Chen Wen also picked out some of the bones that were easier to remove and cleaned out the four pig hooves and the pig head, only carrying the torso, which made it a lot lighter.

On Hua Yun’s side, she followed suit, dragging the big boar Chen Wen killed first to the riverbank for similar processing.

After the two finished cleaning up the wild boars, it was already getting late.

Chen Wen didn’t have the time to process the piglet killed by the Golden Eagle, he just carried it and headed back to the shelter with Hua Yun.

Finally, before it got completely dark, they made it back to the makeshift campsite.

Hua Yun began roasting meat while Chen Wen planned to make another sled to carry the wild boar back to camp.

The two alternated between working and eating until late at night when the sled was finally finished.

Meanwhile, Chen Wen somewhat helplessly remembered that three pigs were still trapped in the trap.

One of them had a cut, and he wondered if some creature would sneak over and eat part of it by tomorrow.

What a delightful trouble!

...

Russian Association.

Looking at the harvest of Chen Wen and Hua Yun, Oleg was at a loss for words.

Initially, their harvest was quite decent, but their greed showed when Hua Yun almost got rammed by the wild boar. Oleg thought they were going to pay the price.

However, Chen Wen’s skill with the spear turned the situation around completely.

And seeing the boar meat that couldn’t fit on one sled, Oleg sighed: ”Young people sure are fierce!”

Beside him, Valery, the president of the Russian Survival Association, had a complicated expression.

He was feeling the pressure now.

Chen Wen’s spear throw stunned him, to say the least, facing a wild boar about to collide with his teammate from nearly sixty meters away, he dared to make the move?

He wasn’t afraid of making a mistake and hitting his teammate?

This kind of confidence and boldness in survival can only be described as talent.

No matter how much training ordinary people go through, they wouldn’t dare to make such a move under those circumstances!

Unlike Hua Yun, who only saw the wild boar being killed, Valery was informed afterward and kept watching Chen Wen’s footage, which made him even more vigilant!

When the wild boar was charging toward Hua Yun, Chen Wen didn’t hesitate at all.

He merely aimed at the wild boar and then began to gather strength before throwing the spear!

The movement was precise, akin to an ancient Greek sculpture, filled with the beauty of power.

And the aim was very accurate too!

Too strong!

If it were a person, they would need to be cautious even seventy meters away from Chen Wen!

If surrounded by dense forest, Chen Wen could potentially kill everyone without them even knowing!

”Suka Bule, this guy is absurdly talented!”

Valery couldn’t help but say: ”His Beast Taming Skill is unparalleled, but how is his spear-throwing so terrifying too!”

Oleg laughed: ”Indeed, his skills are globally unique! If you ever want to face him, you’d better be wary of his spear.”

”You never know, a spear might just whoosh through the forest and take someone out.”

Valery nodded.

That’s the truth.

”Alright, keep an eye open, I don’t think they’ll face any danger when they go back, even if some beasts follow the scent to this place. They wouldn’t be able to threaten Chen Wen; on the contrary, they might become Chen Wen’s prey.”

Valery stood up, didn’t linger, and hastily left the area.

...

The following morning.

Chen Wen had a good night’s rest. Though he kept watch during the first half, overall, he rested well.

After tidying up the camp, Chen Wen asked Hua Yun to prepare for material transport and planned to return to the main camp today.

Then, Chen Wen, armed with a spear and sled, headed into the forest to retrieve the three wild boars he had caught earlier.

Initially, Chen Wen feared his prey might be eaten by some animals, but when he arrived, he was met with an intact boar.

The blood on its body had dried, and there wasn’t any missing flesh around the wound.

After placing the boar on the sled, Chen Wen continued to search for his prey.

The second young boar was already hanging, and Chen Wen took it down, placing it on the sled.

The third wild boar still had some breath.

Chen Wen directly bled it and placed it on the sled to bring back.

The three boars total about two hundred and fifty pounds, quite heavy.

After bringing them back, Hua Yun had already packed the supplies and left them at the makeshift camp.

When they returned the boars, their plan was to continue exploring along this path.

After all, a river lay ahead, and searching along the river would certainly yield more prey.

Thus, this time back, their load was still bearable.

Chen Wen led with the sled in front, while Hua Yun followed with another sled.

Chen Wen’s load weighed over four hundred pounds, while Hua Yun’s was over two hundred.

Luckily, they had sleds; otherwise, it wouldn’t be easy to bring these things back.

Even so, they walked and paused along the way, only reaching camp near afternoon.

...

At the camp.

Adam was sitting cross-legged around the campfire, focusing intently while carving wood with a dagger.

He was making a stone spear, with some flint placed nearby.

Since Chen Wen and his team left the camp with weapons, Adam felt insecure; the camp had almost no protection left, and Gaston had taken the few defensive tools while fishing, including the Wolf Mink.

This left Adam feeling quite uneasy, prompting him to make a stone spear for self-defense.

But just as Adam was concentrating on his craft, the Golden Eagle suddenly landed in the camp.

Adam, seeing the Golden Eagle, was momentarily dumbfounded.

Is this a wild Golden Eagle?

Or Chen Wen’s Golden Eagle?

Considering how it was unafraid of humans, it was likely Chen Wen’s Golden Eagle, but why had it returned?

Could it be that something happened to Chen Wen and the gang, causing it to come back for help?

Adam stood up abruptly, a trace of worry glinting in his eyes.

This startled the Golden Eagle, prompting it to flutter its wings and hop to the side, curiously eyeing Adam: What does this person want? Is his brain malfunctioning?

Looking at the Golden Eagle’s claws, which held nothing, Adam fretted.

What’s going on!

Adam wondered.

Just then, Chen Wen’s voice echoed from the forest.

He shouted loudly: ”Old Adam! Old Adam! Come! Quick, come help! Hua Yun and I are about to collapse!”

Chen Wen shouted in Chinese, which Adam fortunately understood.

He looked perplexed towards the forest, only to see Chen Wen emerging with several wild boars in tow.

Adam was stunned.
