I Aggressively Stack Steel of the Heart in the Knight Order

The status and power of a Star Zone Governor not only surpassed that of a Planet Governor, but the position was so lofty that for Reinhardt’s faction to appoint him wartime Star Zone Governor of these thirty worlds, they would have to override all dissent and ignore the opposition from Iberia.

But none of that would change the fact that Transk was a rebel.

Nor would he agree so readily just based on a few simple words.

Transk’s background needed to be thoroughly investigated and verified. His personal abilities and Loyalty also required time for observation and testing.

However, with the power Reinhardt held, he could still directly appoint him to the position of a Planet Governor without having to wrangle with Iberia.

Spiritual Energy Communication.

”Koller, what’s your opinion on this matter?”

Koller was silent for a moment before responding, ”The Planet Governor of Cotia World did indeed die during his second year in office, and his family was wiped out by assassins.”

”This was likely related to the reforms the Grand Governor attempted back then to strip away local military authority.”

”It was because of this incident that the Imperial Administrative Region faced a crisis of secession. The Grand Governor ultimately chose to compromise, so the implementation of the Governor System slowed, existing only on paper.”

At that moment, Urus’s voice suddenly cut in.

”His real name is the son of Fabius. On the night of the rebellion in Radiant Calendar 1446, a servant carried him aboard a civilian merchant vessel to flee Cotia.”

”His wife, Sexta, was the sole heir of the Rust Merchant Family. She died four years ago during a raid by Interstellar Pirates.”

”But whether he was the mastermind behind the Claudius rebellion requires further investigation. The power of a Star Zone Governor is immense—he has some nerve making such a request of you.”

As the Vengeful Angels’ sole Master of Intelligence, Urus’s value and abilities far exceeded what his personal strength or direct combat prowess could ever show.

With just a few words, he had confirmed Transk’s true identity.

Koller continued, ”Since Urus has verified his identity, my recommendation is to have him serve as the Planet Governor of Tania. Even if his intentions aren’t pure, we can cut our losses in a timely manner.”

”I agree.”

The opinions of Koller and Urus coincided with Reinhardt’s own.

”Order Stearns to detach a ten-man squad from the Second Company. Notify Cateline to verify the number of Transk’s private soldiers and allocate him a Strike Cruiser.”

”Urus, you will be responsible for assigning a Silencer to watch him.”

After making his decision, Reinhardt responded to Transk’s request. ”You want the position of Star Zone Governor? Then prove your strength and Loyalty on Tania World—to me, and to the Administrative Region.”

”I now, in my capacity as the Lord of Vengeful and Supreme Commander of the war against the rebellion, appoint you Planet Governor of Tania World. I will give you an army to command.”

”Remember, do not disappoint me, son of Fabius.”

Reinhardt’s reason for appointing Transk was simple: he lacked subordinates talented in managing local civil affairs. If Transk showed any sign of renewed rebellion, a Silencer would secretly execute him at the earliest opportunity.

The ten Vengeful Angels assigned to him were, in essence, there to monitor him and report on his activities.

Outside the window, the dense rain fell without cease.

The Holy Fire Guard standing watch outside the corridor entrance were like statues.

When Transk heard someone call him ”son of Fabius” again for the first time in eighteen years, his expression clearly wavered.

He raised his head and stared at Reinhardt in silence.

”On this matter, our interests are aligned, Lord of Vengeful.”

Koller would be responsible for arranging the specific details of the transfer.

Because more than half of the Local Lords from Tania World were under house arrest in Cyrenaica, his advice was to depart within three days. This would allow them to take advantage of the brief power vacuum to maximally consolidate Transk’s authority as Planet Governor.

Upon Transk’s return to the conference hall, the atmosphere had changed completely.

The Lords, who had been reluctantly using the Radiant Beacon to remotely command their families to raise funds, were now all staring in shock, their faces ashen and utterly mortified.

The once deathly-quiet conference hall seemed to explode, the sounds of arguments and curses loud enough to tear the roof off!

Some of the more powerful Local Lords, in their desperation, spared no expense to use the incredibly costly Star Language Communication.

”...What did you say?! The Mechanist Cult seized my advance payment? When?! Why didn’t you tell me sooner... They only notified you today?”

”Damn it... that bunch of faithless bastards—!”

One of Transk’s allies approached him, their expression incredibly grim.

”I just received news as well. The Aquitaine Casting World seized our advance payment of ten thousand Radiant Gold Coins, and the order came directly from the Founding General.”

Seeing Transk return, the small group of Local Lords in the back rows hurriedly rose to greet him.

After he took his seat, a Knight Warlord, his brow deeply furrowed, looked on in fright, clearly rattled by the events.

”Even though we were defeated at Cyrenaica, I don’t believe our order warranted a direct command from Great Sage Zeka himself. Transk, could the Lord of Vengeful’s influence already be great enough to sway the decisions of a Forging World? This...”

Although the Imperial Administrative Region and the Mechanical Order were close allies, they remained two independent powers.

There was no way a Forging World would seize their advance payments and indefinitely delay delivery simply on the basis of a paper order from the Administrative Region or the Civil Affairs Department.
