I Aggressively Stack Steel of the Heart in the Knight Order

”But what I’m telling you is that the great rebellion you imagine has already begun, and you and Claudius are merely a prelude to it.”

Nelom wouldn’t listen to Reinhardt’s ’excuses.’ He scoffed, ”Are you trying to say what I’m doing now is no different from the Regent Council that launched the great rebellion?

Hahaha...

Reinhardt, do you take me for some greenhorn recruit? Shut your damn mouth! If you’re going to kill me, do it now!”

In the face of this mockery, Reinhardt turned and stopped at a window in the corridor. His gaze pierced the viewport, looking past the sea of fire that engulfed the hangar. He stared into the depths of the Cosmos, at the massive fleet arrayed near Cyrenaica, and...at the overwhelming army bearing down on the Avenger Flagship!

The blood-red glow of the fire made the shadows on his face dance. ”You give yourself too much credit, Nelom,” he said coldly. ”You’re just a pitiable pawn being used, a stepping stone for the true masterminds before the real rebellion even begins.

After you’re dead, no one will care about your ideals. No one will care what you fought for.

They will only joke in their idle moments about the idealist fool who gladly gave his life to build the staircase of bones they used to climb to the pinnacle of power.”

In that moment, Nelom’s resolve wavered.

He knew Reinhardt was simply stating facts, not exaggerating.

He knew exactly what kind of people Governor Claudius and his cronies were.

But he remained defiant. ”Bullshit! After I die, others will rise up to resist the corrupt rule of you and Sedon! And when they succeed, everything I have done will have been worth it!”

Hearing this, Reinhardt said coldly, ”Let’s assume for a moment that everything you say comes to pass. But do you know the price the Administrative Region will pay if we lose this civil war?”

Nelom let out a disdainful sneer. ”The price? Heh. You mean you and Sedon losing your control over the Administrative Region? Losing the power you hold in your hands?

I think that’s a price I can accept.”

Reinhardt responded, turning the implication of Nelom’s insults back on him.

”You are far too naive, Nelom.

In my capacity as the Great Tutor of Vengeful, I can tell you this unequivocally: the Imperial Rebel Army and the Demon Legions did not attack the Administrative Region simply for the sake of slaughter, as others might imagine.

They want to capture the Radiant Angels and corrupt them. Their goal is to completely shatter the foundations of faith in the Human World, plunging the Administrative Region into total chaos and turning it into a playground for Void Demons.

Every day, the Golden Capital’s tax ships are plundered by Interstellar Pirates. The minions of Grand Lord Kles are everywhere in this Star Zone.

Of course, you know that the people you work for have been secretly colluding with Grand Lord Kles all along.

But what you don’t know is that Kles’s agents have been by your side the entire time. It’s even possible that Claudius himself is a puppet of the Infiltrator Council.”

”You have the shallow belief that Sedon and I have done all this merely for power and status. But you have no idea what we’ve sacrificed, just so the Administrative Region can continue to scrape by in this dark age.

My Battle Brothers lie in tombs, their fates uncertain. To stop Grand Lord Kles from obtaining the Wizard’s Divine Artifact, my Technician Soldier used his own body as a vessel and paid a terrible price.

A Battle Sister, whom I had known for less than a day, endured over a month of inhuman torture in the Judgment Court’s secret prisons, all to prevent this rebellion from happening...”

At this, Reinhardt spun around, his eyes blazing like fire as he stared at Nelom’s face, which had grown dark and grim.

”You knew nothing about any of this.”
