My Lust System: I Inherited The Sin Of Lust And His Three Wives

Duke Haborym stared at Damian in silence for a moment. The fact that this youth could unleash the power of the [Ninefold Samsara Firefox] technique already proved that he had come a long way in awakening the power of lust. However, to completely eradicate Bathin and erase every trace of his existence required power far beyond the level of the samsara fox fire.

Duke Haborym knew this, and that was precisely why he had been reluctant to make a move. He could not gauge Damian’s true strength, especially with the betrothal ring masking his presence.

”Won’t you show yourself, or are you waiting for one of us to slay the other first?” Duke Haborym snarled, catching even Damian off guard.

He had been too focused on Duke Haborym to notice what was happening around him.

Damian quickly followed the demon’s cold gaze to a figure standing atop a rooftop. He had violet hair that looked strangely fitting beneath the glow of his emerald irises. The man was dressed in a black and white cassock that looked nothing like the glamorous ones Damian had seen in the past. Around his neck hung a simple chain with a cross pendant resting against his chest.

It was Father Corbin, the officer he had met alongside Linda.

”I was hoping you two would weaken each other and I’d only have to kill the victor, but I guess this will be a three-way fight,” Corbin chuckled, his tone laced with amusement.

The man stood with both hands shoved into his pockets while glaring at Duke Haborym without the slightest trace of fear. Even in the presence of two powerful entities like Damian and Duke Haborym, he remained utterly unmoved.

How could Damian not be stunned?

When he had first come across this man, he had only paid him special attention because Corbin had found his ring strange. However, seeing him now, walking toward the edge of the rooftop with both hands still buried in his pockets, Damian could not help but reevaluate his initial judgment of him.

”This is a family matter, walk away!” Duke Haborym warned.

”But it’s happening in Chicago, so it’s my problem too... It’s happening on Earth, so it’s my problem,” Corbin retorted.

His gaze shifted to Damian, who was also staring deeply at him. The face was unfamiliar, but he was definitely human. Of that, Father Corbin was almost certain.

Damian, on the other hand, ignored him completely and shifted his gaze back to Duke Haborym. In his opinion, the demon noble was the one who truly needed to be watched. As long as he could kill this demon, dealing with Corbin afterward should not be an issue.

Duke Haborym briefly returned his attention to Damian, dismissing Father Corbin’s words as though they had never been spoken.

”You will not leave with me?” he asked in a low yet threatening tone.

”No!” Damian hissed.

Duke Haborym let out a disappointed sigh and slowly shook his head, but then suddenly froze. His twisted frown curled into a crazed smile.

”I was hoping you would say that!” he hissed as several messages began popping up.

[Warning, False World Skill used]

[Type: Active]

[Description: Pulls targets within a certain range into the spiritual world overlapping their physical realm! Be careful. At this point escape is near impossible without killing the user.]

The notification rang in Damian’s mind as he watched red pentagon-shaped plates form a new layer of barrier just a few inches beneath the first. By the time it had completely spread, Damian immediately noticed the difference.

There was no one else.

The cars below were empty. In fact, everyone caught within this dome seemed to have been transported to an unknown location, because that was the only explanation for a world so utterly vacant.

”Here, I need not hold back my strength,” Duke Haborym grinned viciously, as though he had been waiting for this very moment.

Without another word, Duke Haborym stretched forth his arm, the burning torch pointed directly at Damian.

”Dead or alive, you will leave this planet with me!” he declared.

Duke Haborym’s hand tilted.

Boom!

The torch erupted into a raging sea of flames that spread across the sky like an infernal tide. It rolled forward with terrifying momentum, devouring the clouds and setting the very air ablaze. The serpent beneath him hissed as its massive body coiled through the fire, making the entire heavens seem as though they had been transformed into hell itself.

Damian’s eyes widened.

The pressure alone was suffocating.

The power behind the flames was at least twice what he had expected.

[Infernal Ember]

Buzz!

Crimson flames erupted from both his hands, surging forward in a violent torrent to meet the incoming sea of fire. For a brief moment, the two infernos clashed in the sky, crimson against amber, the collision sending violent shockwaves tearing through the city below.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Buildings trembled, glass shattered, and the very atmosphere screamed beneath the pressure.

Yet Damian’s expression darkened.

He was being pushed back.

His crimson flames were being steadily swallowed by Haborym’s overwhelming fire. Damian frowned as his arms trembled while he unleashed every ounce of crimson flame he could muster.

Yet the fire kept advancing.

”No...” Damian gritted through clenched teeth.

His wings flared behind him as violet light flashed across his eyes. Then his expression twisted.

”Then take all of it!” Damian’s eyes blazed with madness.

Buzz!

Crimson flames burst forth from his body without restraint.

Not just from his hands, but from his shoulders, from his chest, and even from his very flesh.

He had completely turned himself into a weapon.

Torrents of crimson fire erupted from every inch of him in a desperate bid to halt the advancing sea. The sky was dyed red as his aura roared violently, pushing against the infernal tide with everything he had.

For a single breath, the sea of flames slowed.

But then...

Boom!

Duke Haborym’s inferno crashed over him like an ocean swallowing a lone ship. Damian vanished completely within the chaos.

The world became nothing but fire.

The sky above, the earth below, and even the horizon itself disappeared beneath the immense blaze.

For a moment, silence reigned.
