Global Transmigration: I Have SSS Talent

Chapter 48: Chapter 48: Area Protection Lifted, New Rankings Unveiled

This sudden system announcement left everyone’s head spinning.

In the chat channel, everyone was excitedly discussing what the Cloud Secret Realm was, and what the Rune Blueprint and Strong Fragment were.

At this moment, Han Xing sat back on the sofa, stroking his chin and pondering, ”Cloud Secret Realm? When I played ’Sky Island Paradise’ on my phone, it didn’t have such features; it must be a new function introduced in this world.”

Speaking of which, Han Xing hadn’t played much on his phone either.

At that time, he won a beta test spot on a mysterious webpage, and then downloaded the installation package.

He played for less than a week in total, and his game character had just reached level 11.

Then, he came to this world.

Therefore, Han Xing’s understanding of this world isn’t much beyond that of other survivors.

”As a new instance, the Cloud Secret Realm should have nice rewards inside...”

”But, accordingly, it will also be very dangerous!”

At this moment, a second system prompt arrived.

System: ”All survivors, please note, the Survivor area protection mechanism has been lifted, the area map has been changed to open status, survivors can now use the coordinates on the map to find each other’s location.”

”You can cooperate, compete, or choose to draw your sword against others and invade each other’s territories!”

”Please note, when the number of survivors gathered in the same area is too large, there is a greater chance of spawning high-level monsters, and the Cloud Monsters encountered will be stronger.”

”In addition, the monster’s desire to attack in the clouds has greatly increased, and they are likely to take the initiative to find the survivor’s territory for invasion. Please make good defense arrangements for your territory.”

A long string of prompts, each containing a large amount of information.

The next moment, the chat channel boiled again!

”Brothers! Did you see the update announcement? The area protection feature has been lifted! This means we can not only meet but also team up and even fight together!”

”I saw it too, woohoo, finally no more fighting alone.”

”Bro, little sis is coming to find you soon...”

At this time, someone kindly reminded, ”Everyone be careful, don’t gather too many people together, otherwise high-level monsters might be attracted.”

”Didn’t you see the system prompt saying that? The monsters in the clouds can also attack us now, so be careful not to be wiped out!”

Meanwhile, in the discussion group where Han Xing and others were, the three were discussing this update as well.

Cheng Jianyong excitedly said, ”Brothers, the protection mechanism has been lifted, which means we can meet soon! Report your coordinates, I’ll come to find you.”

Shen Yun: ”42156, 33247, 69745.”

Han Xing: ”41784, 24451, 88647.”

Cheng Jianyong was startled after hearing this and said, ”Damn, I’m at 42063, 54223, 48612, quite far from you guys!”

Shen Yun replied: ”It is a bit far. With our current speed, it would take at least four to five days to get over, plus we need to avoid those clouds along the way, which will probably take even longer.”

Shen Yun tentatively asked, ”Why don’t we two head towards Brother Xing’s place first?”

Cheng Jianyong was about to agree.

Then Han Xing said, ”Don’t rush, don’t hurry to come over.”

”Now that the area protection mechanism is just lifted, other survivors will definitely have the same idea as we do, with large numbers of survivors wandering around, plus the cloud monsters might take the initiative to attack, making the whole area extremely chaotic.”

Shen Yun understood something as well and tentatively asked, ”Brother Xing, are you worried?”

Han Xing replied, ”Yes, I’m worried that some people with sinister motives may target other survivors, in the current situation where everyone’s attributes are similar, if a fight breaks out, it may result in a mutually destructive outcome.”

”Moreover, if these people gather together, it will be even more troublesome.”

The two heard the worry in Han Xing’s words and knew that what he said was not unreasonable.

In fact, Han Xing’s worry was bound to come true.

Despite the apparent peace of District 107, there must be people with sinister intentions here.

This place is not like Blue Star; it’s a world without legal restraint.

For profit or the spoils of other survivors, these people will do anything.

Cheng Jianyong then asked, ”Brother Xing, what good advice do you have?”

Han Xing pondered for a moment and replied, ”My advice is, for the first two days, remain inactive; after the initial chaotic period is over, we three can proceed towards the same coordinates, shortening the time to converge.”

”Then when encountering clouds that can be fought, try to explore, and upgrade while on the move, but be very careful to avoid those large areas of clouds.”

The two agreed that Han Xing’s plan was relatively prudent and thus agreed to follow his plan.

Just as they were about to take action, the system’s third prompt appeared.

Announcement: ”As the territorial points leaderboard of most regions has ended, a new leaderboard challenge is now open.”

”Divided by different regions, in each region, the top one hundred survivors reaching level 10 first will receive ranking rewards.”

”Rank 100-51, rewards [Spiritual Shield Crystal Tower Construction Plan (Basic Level)] *1, [Iron Armor Puppet] *5, [Basic Lord’s House Construction Plan] *1, [Basic Teleportation Array Construction Plan] *1, Spirit Core *1000.”

”Rank 50-11, rewards [Spiritual Energy Shield Pyramid Construction Plan (Basic Level)] *1, [Iron Armor Puppet] *10, [Basic Lord’s House Construction Plan] *1, [Basic Teleportation Array Construction Plan] *1, Spirit Core *2000.”

”New leaderboard rewards again?”

Han Xing was startled by this system prompt and looked at the attributes of these reward items.

[Spiritual Energy Shield Pyramid Construction Plan (Basic Level)]: Territorial building, constructing a pyramid capable of generating a spiritual shield, which can resist physical and magic attacks, with a defense value of: 200.

[Iron Armor Puppet lv10]: Ordinary defensive puppet, can only operate within the territory.

[Attributes]: Power 53, agility 34, Spirit 32, Constitution 56.

[Skills]: Copper Skin Iron Bone, Flame Spray, Sawtooth Cutting.

”The attributes seem pretty good,” Han Xing pondered.

That ’Spiritual Energy Shield Pyramid (Basic Level)’ can directly generate a shield, which means the territory can be enclosed, preventing others from entering and blocking attacks.

The second item, Iron Armor Puppet, is a defensive-type puppet, and its attributes are roughly similar to those of a level 10 ordinary monster, capable of assisting survivors in battle when encountering danger or when other cloud monsters invade.

Then there is the third item, [Basic Lord’s Cottage]: Defense value 500, can increase defense value of all defensive buildings in the territory by 10%, increase attack power of all attacking buildings by 5%, increase attributes of all friendly units by 5%, increase Sky Island Territory movement speed by 10%).

Seeing the attributes of the Lord’s Cottage, Han Xing wondered aloud, ”This Basic Lord’s Cottage seems similar to my Basic Castle, but the enhancement effects fall a lot short!”
