My Silly, Sweet Wife

Feng Wuxiu snorted coldly, ”What nerve! Yang Di, you’ve already had people watching, right? Let’s go, I’ll get you back now. I want to see who has the guts to mess with people from Wan Jian Villa.”

”Senior Brother Feng, we need to be strategic about this,” Yang Di quickly stopped him.

Feng Wuxiu was puzzled, ”What do you mean?”

”Currently, the villa master has said our main task is to get that unique treasure from Spirit Beast Sect, and he’s also worried about Junior Sister Chu’s safety. If we bring her back now, she’d definitely want to come with us to the Spirit Beast Sect. But if she’s taken as a hostage and can’t leave, it might not be a bad thing.”

”As I see it, although they’ve taken Junior Sister Feng as a hostage, they don’t dare really harm her. I’ve had people watching them all along. As long as we don’t provoke them, we can keep track of their whereabouts, and once we’re done with the Spirit Beast Sect, that kid’s days are numbered.”

Feng Wuxiu nodded, feeling Yang Di made some sense, ”That’s a plan. With Junior Sister’s temper, if we don’t let her come, it’ll be trouble. Fine, in that case, add more people to keep watch for me. Tonight we’ll make a plan and head to Spirit Beast Sect first thing tomorrow.”

”Yes, Senior Brother!” Yang Di bowed.

That night, Chun Muge found a fancy inn, paid for Ye Guichen’s room, and stayed there.

However, Qin Muge only got two rooms and gave Ye Guichen a knowing look before leaving.

Ye Guichen was speechless.

He didn’t refuse and instead pushed Feng Chuchu into the guest room.

”Hey, you’re not planning to take advantage of me, are you?” Seeing Ye Guichen about to share a room with her alone, Feng Chuchu crossed her arms defensively.

Ye Guichen glanced at Feng Chuchu, ”With how much you eat, there’s probably a pig living inside you. Are you sure you can tempt me?”

”Hey, what do you mean, who are you calling a pig?” Feng Chuchu protested, puffing out her chest, ”I’m the number one beauty of Wan Jian Villa, countless men secretly admire me, and you call me a pig?”

Ye Guichen glanced at her chest, nodding slightly, ”Well, it’s decent size, but it doesn’t change the fact you eat a lot. Go to sleep.”

Saying that, Ye Guichen moved to the bed, began undressing, preparing to sleep.

Feng Chuchu was dumbfounded, ”What are you doing?”

”What else? I’m going to sleep, of course.”

”You, you can’t take your clothes off, and aren’t you a man, planning to sleep on the bed, where should I sleep?” Feng Chuchu had been pampered since childhood and never been treated like this.

Moreover, Ye Guichen didn’t seem to invite her to…

No, he didn’t intend to give up the bed.

There’s only one bed. Are you telling me, the lady of Wan Jian Villa, to sleep on the floor?

Ye Guichen gave Feng Chuchu a look, ”You’re my hostage now, consider yourself lucky I’m not tying you up. You should have the awareness of a hostage.”

Then, without a care for Feng Chuchu, he stripped down to his underwear, making her quickly turn her head in embarrassment.

”Hmph, not a man, truly not a man!” Feng Chuchu stomped her foot in anger, yet her mind couldn’t help but remember Ye Guichen’s muscular physique.

Oh dear.

How embarrassing!

Both angry and anxious, Feng Chuchu, after a moment’s silence, turned back curiously, seeing Ye Guichen asleep under the blanket.

”Hmm? Asleep?”

Feng Chuchu was delighted.

Isn’t this a perfect chance to escape since he’s asleep?

She tiptoed toward the door.

But suddenly, a swishing sound rang out.

Bam!

A sword embedded in the door right in front of Feng Chuchu.

Clang clang!

The sword quivered.

Swallowing hard, cold sweat beaded on her forehead.

She turned to Ye Guichen, but seeing him still asleep, she was fuming.

”Damned guy, pretending to sleep! Hmph!”

Any thoughts of escape vanished, knowing Ye Guichen likely anticipated her fleeing and wasn’t fully asleep.

Yet, looking around the room,

even sleeping on the floor, without a blanket, how could she sleep?

Seeing Ye Guichen sleeping snugly, occasionally smacking his lips, made her green with envy.

”Hmph, why do you get the bed while I have nowhere to sleep? Why call me a pig; today I refuse to believe this.”

Huffing, she moved to the bed and after some hesitation, lay down fully dressed.

However, once lying down, she regretted it.

Especially feeling Ye Guichen’s muscular body, her heart almost leaped out of her chest.

Contemplating leaving the bed, she also didn’t want to concede, feeling a mess inside.

Lost in thought, Feng Chuchu unwittingly fell asleep.

Ye Guichen, worn out from the journey, also fell asleep.

By morning, Ye Guichen suddenly felt softness near his hand.

”Hmm…”

The next moment, a woman’s voice echoed.

Ye Guichen awoke abruptly.

Turning his head, his face instantly became a mask of shock.

This woman, how did she end up in my arms?

And when did you take your clothes off?

Wait, why is your leg over me?

And why are you hugging me?

Realizing their intimate posture, Ye Guichen was at a loss for words.

Damn it, are you trying to set me up?

He wasn’t looking to get involved with any woman right now.

Nor did he want any trouble.

Though, well, this woman does have a nice figure.

But, but, I’m a dedicated man, having Chen Ziran is enough for me.

With this thought, Ye Guichen gently disentangled Feng Chuchu’s limbs off him.

Then, suddenly, hurried footsteps echoed outside.

Then, bang!

Someone abruptly pushed the door open, ”Brother Ye, let’s go, we’re checking out the Xuanyin Sect’s disciple recruitment, maybe earn some Spirit Stones?”

Qin Muge was all excitement.

Heard Xuanyin Sect was recruiting here today, so why not take a look.

But as he entered, Qin Muge’s mouth gaped wide as if witnessing a spectacle.

Then he gulped, ”Heh, Brother Ye, impressive, really.”

Then he closed the door, backing away awkwardly.

Ye Guichen was filled with black lines.

Dammit.

Who the hell didn’t close the door?

My honor, just like that, gone!
