My Talent's Name Is Generator

I controlled three things at once. It wasn’t easy, but I had trained for this.

First, the wind barrier: a five-foot spinning shell that surrounded me, keeping the chaotic storm outside from reaching me. Wind blades, pressure pockets, dust, and debris, all of it was locked out, unable to cross the high-speed currents that formed my protective bubble.

Second, the wind sphere: a one-foot spinning orb of compressed air, floating above my right palm. It churned like a miniature storm, its concentrated force swirling with precise control.

Third, the wind shield: a square, rotating construct of condensed air that revolved around me, a leftover defense from before.

Controlling all three at once split my focus, but I didn’t need to anymore.

I took a breath and dispersed the wind shield, absorbing its energy into the wind sphere on my palm. The moment I did, my mind felt lighter, the strain of juggling three separate forces easing. But I wasn’t done yet.

I fed more wind into the sphere, expanding it. One foot. Then two. Then three. The spinning orb grew, rising from my palm, its speed increasing as it floated above me, hovering like a spinning planet in the sky. The air around it bent and warped from the sheer speed of its rotation.

Next, the wind barrier.

I pushed it outward, slowly but steadily.

Six feet.

Seven feet.

The currents thickened, pushing the chaotic storm even farther away from me. The winds outside howled, but inside, the air was clean, untouched. Dust and debris had no place here. I stood at the eye of my own storm, controlling every part of it.

Then, it was time to bring chaos.

I focused on the spinning globe above me. One end of it pulled in Essence, constantly fueling itself like a breathing, living thing. The other end became a weapon.

I shaped the wind inside.

Thin, sharp, deadly.

I compressed the air into high-speed wind blades, focusing their form into something solid, concentrated.

Then, I fired.

The first blade shot out, slicing through the chaotic battlefield like a streak of lightning. It cut cleanly through the wind outside, completely unaffected by the unpredictable currents. It didn’t scatter. It didn’t slow. It pierced through the storm, moving exactly where I willed it.

Its target? The unstable pressure pockets floating across the battlefield.

Boom!

The first pocket collapsed, sending a shockwave through the air.

The battlefield shifted.

The second wind blade fired, striking another pocket.

Boom!

The third.

Boom!

The winds twisted, turned, collapsed in on themselves. The controlled chaos the bats had been using to fly smoothly vanished. Their rhythm was shattered, the battlefield no longer working in their favor.

The largest bat screeched, wings flaring as it struggled to regain control. Another tried to dive toward me, but the shifting winds threw it off course, sending it spiraling sideways.

And I wasn’t done.

I fired again.

More wind blades shot out from the floating sphere, slashing through the air, breaking apart more wind pockets, creating even more instability. The bats couldn’t fly properly anymore. The very air around them refused to obey them.

One of the smaller bats lost control completely. It spun out, tumbling through the sky before crashing hard into the ground.

The strongest tried to counter. Its body vibrated as it opened its mouth, gathering another sound attack.

But before it could fire—

I attacked first.

A wind blade shot forward, slicing through the turbulent air. The bat twisted midair, dodging once, then twice. But the third blade came too fast. It struck directly into its left wing, carving deep into flesh and bone.

A sharp, piercing screech tore through the battlefield. The force of the impact sent the bat lurching sideways, its flight path collapsing. Blood misted into the chaotic winds as the wing snapped free, completely severed from its body.

My eyes locked onto it.

That was my opportunity.

I pushed forward, every thought focused on bringing it down. I fired again, wind blades slicing through the air, one after another, relentless, precise. Each one carved deep gashes into its body, cutting through its hide, tearing apart muscle, reducing it to a shredded, thrashing mess.

Its control faltered.

The moment it lost focus, the wind blades already spinning in the storm turned against it.

They lashed out.

Blades of air, uncontrolled and wild, ripped into its body. Some cut deep into its remaining wing. Others tore through its back, stomach, and legs. It screeched, body convulsing, trying to regain control, but the winds refused to carry it anymore.

And then, it fell.

A shadow plummeting from the sky, spinning, tumbling, crashing hard into the ground. Dust and debris exploded on impact. It was over.

But I wasn’t done.

The barrier around me expanded again, pushing outward. Six feet. Seven. Eight. Nine.

Then, ten feet.

The space around me grew wider, the chaos of the battlefield kept at bay. The wind barrier spun even faster, a shield of pure force that nothing could penetrate.

And then, I decided to go crazy.

I fed even more Essence into the spinning globe floating above me. It grew larger, heavier, spinning with terrifying speed, an eye of the storm that I controlled completely.

I grinned.

It was time to destroy everything.

I observed my surroundings beyond the barrier.

Multiple tornadoes of dust and debris howled and groaned, their chaotic winds tearing through the battlefield.

Explosions of sound erupted at random intervals, the force shaking the air itself.

Wind blades sliced through everything in their path.

Pockets of compressed air detonated, sending shockwaves rippling outward.

But inside my barrier, everything bent to my will.

Above me, the massive spinning wind sphere glowed with raw power, its rotation growing faster and faster as I continued feeding it Essence. The ten-foot barrier of wind around me remained strong, a perfect shield against the surrounding storm.

But I could do more.

My fingers curled slightly, and the Essence responded immediately.

I raised my left hand, my eyes locked onto the chaos outside.

And I had something that could push it even further.

[Blazing Sfera].

I lifted my left palm slightly, and a glowing sphere of pure fire hovered just above it, spinning like a miniature sun. The fire inside burned wildly, spiraling like a galaxy, its heat distorting the air around it.

Above me, the massive wind sphere continued its relentless rotation, a three-foot globe of pure, howling air.

I willed them closer.

The moment the two forces neared, the wind sphere reacted violently, trying to tear the fire apart, while the fire lashed out in bursts, seeking to consume everything.

“Not yet.”

I tightened my control, forcing the flames and the wind to coexist. The Essence responded instantly, holding the balance. Slowly, I guided the blazing sphere into the heart of the wind vortex.

The moment the fire touched the spinning air, the entire globe shuddered.

Flames expanded, wrapping around the winds.

The wind, instead of snuffing out the fire, fed it. The sphere blazed brighter, spinning faster as the two forces fused together into something new.

I clenched my fist.

The roaring, swirling firestorm above me stabilized, contained within my will, its violent energy locked into a controlled rotation.

I fired the first attack.

A blazing fire blade shot out from the sphere, cutting through the wind barrier like a spear. It streaked toward one of the unstable pressure pockets in the storm outside.

Boom!

The instant it made contact, the pocket of compressed air detonated, setting off a chain reaction. Wind twisted and collided, fire roared and burned, multiple tornadoes splitting apart and reforming, their force now unstable and unpredictable.

I didn’t stop.

Another fire blade fired. Then another. And another.

Each one struck with deadly precision, slicing through the chaotic battlefield. Every pocket of unstable wind erupted into violent explosions, sending shockwaves blasting through the storm.

“More.”

I raised my right hand, directing the burning vortex above me. The sphere had grown unstable, its rotations wild, but I held it together with sheer will.

One final move.

I thrust my hand forward, and the entire flaming windstorm obeyed.

With a deafening roar, the fire sphere collapsed inward, compressing into a condensed, unstable core and then I hurled it into the battlefield.

It whistled through the battlefield like a comet.

The moment it left my control, it expanded violently, the compressed wind inside detonating on impact.

A storm of fire and gales erupted, consuming everything in its path.

Wind and flames twisted together, forming a roaring inferno that tore through the battlefield, turning everything into chaotic, burning destruction.

I grinned as I saw the destruction and I heard multiple notifications.
