Cultivation Simulator: Starting From The Empress' Palace

Besides her master, Chen Mo was also extremely kind to her, taking meticulous care of her and showering her with protection, making her feel a strong sense of security.

But now...

Now, the two most important people in her life were together.

The most crucial thing was, Luo Zhen and the others all knew.

This left her with no face to interact with them.

Sharing a husband with her master, just how shameful would it be if this got out.

She wanted to comfort herself, thinking that her master was also a lonely person, needing a man by her side, and that the Master and she were well-matched with no chance of drifting apart from her.

But for some reason, her heart ached as if being churned by a knife. What was hardest for her to accept was that her master clearly knew about her relationship with the Master, how could she...how could she...

”Woo woo...” Yi Yao cried uncontrollably.

”Madam...” Dong Lan and Qiu Lan looked at this scene, not knowing what to say.

After all, they had never encountered such a thing before and didn’t know how to comfort her.

”Creak...”

The door was opened, and Chen Mo walked in.

”Master...” The sisters spoke in unison.

”Fei’Er, Qian’Er, you two leave for now, I’ll talk to Yaoyao.” Chen Mo glanced at Yi Yao on the bed, seeing that she was alright, he said to Dong Lan and Qiu Lan.

”Alright.” The two nodded and then left the room one after the other, closing the door behind them.

Chen Mo walked over, sat on the edge of the bed, looked at the little pitiful girl hugging her knees, hesitated slightly, but still smiled and said: ”Yaoyao?”

”Hmm...”

Yi Yao’s face was buried in her knees. Hearing the voice, she shifted her head a bit, glanced at Chen Mo, but quickly lowered her head again. She still didn’t know how to face Chen Mo.

Should she call him Master, or grand-master...

Should she be angry with him?

Chen Mo thought for a while, raised his hand, placed it on her head, and gently rubbed it. Seeing she didn’t resist, he then hugged her tightly.

This time, she resisted, but Chen Mo held her without letting go, speaking softly: ”I don’t want to explain anything. Ruoqing is indeed my woman, but I didn’t know beforehand that she was your master, neither of you told me the specifics about your relationship.

Regarding Ruoqing being your master, I actually found out from Zhen’Er today, even later than you did.”

Upon hearing this, Yi Yao’s sobs softened a bit, but sadness, once it comes, is not something that can be alleviated with a few sentences from Chen Mo, and moreover, she didn’t know who to blame.

After all, she knew Chen Mo was flirtatious and didn’t mind it, and indeed she hadn’t told him her master’s name. Now that the two of them had become close, she had no reason to blame him.

Therefore, she didn’t know what to say but remained silent, continuing to cry.

And Chen Mo seemed to understand what Yi Yao was thinking.

It was just about the difficulty of acceptance, and then how to face it in the future.

”Um, you should know what Zhen’Er and Miaozhen are like, even if they know about this, they won’t make fun of you for it, nor will they speak carelessly, and between you and Ruoqing, each can be considered separately...” Chen Mo smiled lightly.

To make Yi Yao feel better, Chen Mo also mentioned that Fei’Er and Qian’Er are twin sisters, and it’s not any worse than master and disciple, yet they made it through.

Though this sounded a bit scummy, it did make Yi Yao feel a little better, and finally she raised her head, biting her lip, softly saying: ”Then...how should I face my master.”

”Ahem...that’s simple. I will call her over tonight, and you two can have a frank conversation, and then I will step in, taking full responsibility, giving both of you a way out, and then you both...” Chen Mo slowly described his plan.

Yi Yao’s face turned red as she lightly tapped Chen Mo’s chest: ”You...what nonsense are you talking about, sharing a bed or something, that’s impossible, impossible...”

”You don’t understand, as long as you’re honest with each other, then neither of you will have anything to say to the other, and you’ll get along better.” Chen Mo continued: ”And eventually this needs to be resolved, whether you face it sooner or later, it’s the same.”

Yi Yao was moved by Chen Mo’s words.

After all, the logic is undeniable.

She couldn’t possibly distance herself from Chen Mo because her master had become his woman.

Besides, her master was someone dear to her, and she couldn’t just for her own sake, make her master stay away from Chen Mo, causing her master distress.

So, it had to be this way.

Yi Yao nodded with a bit of sobbing.

Chen Mo sighed in relief, then smiled broadly: ”I’ll go find her then.”

...

In the evening.

At Hong Fu Restaurant.

Under the guise of hosting a celebration banquet, Chen Mo brought Jiang Ruoqing to Hong Fu Restaurant.

The staff of Hong Fu Restaurant had already been sent off by Chen Mo in advance. Looking at the deserted restaurant, Jiang Ruoqing asked in confusion: ”If this is a celebration, why is no one here?”

Keeping her in suspense, Chen Mo led Jiang Ruoqing to a private room and opened it.

Yi Yao had been waiting in the room for quite a while. At the moment the door was opened.

Yi Yao and Jiang Ruoqing met each other’s gaze.

”Master...” Yi Yao took the initiative to greet.

”Yaoyao, why are you...here...” Jiang Ruoqing’s eyes widened, and when she turned around, Chen Mo had already disappeared.

”Master, I know about you and the Master.” Yi Yao hesitated for a moment but then stated her purpose for being there.

Jiang Ruoqing was shocked, feeling a bit unstable standing, and even her speech was unsteady: ”Yaoyao...you already know... this wasn’t something I purposely hid from you, it’s simply because of your relationship with his brother that I didn’t know how to face you.”

Jiang Ruoqing still believed that Chen Hong and Chen Mo were two different people.

”Master...” Yi Yao bit her lip, feeling embarrassed to continue.

And Jiang Ruoqing, thinking Yi Yao was here to demand justice, quickly said: ”Yaoyao, it’s all...all my fault. Knowing full well about your relationship with his brother, I still got involved with him...Rest assured, I will sever ties with him immediately...”

The first thought that came to Jiang Ruoqing’s mind was to stay away from Chen Mo and escape this place.

At least for now, in her heart, Yaoyao was more important than Chen Mo.

”Master, that’s not what I mean, nor am I asking you to leave the Master.” Yi Yao said.

”Yaoyao, you...you don’t mind?” Jiang Ruoqing was stunned; at that moment, it was the result she most hoped for.

Yi Yao nodded, then took a deep breath, saying: ”Actually, the Master does not have a brother. Chen Hong and Chen Mo are actually the same person.”

”Oh.” Jiang Ruoqing nodded, but upon realizing, she was stunned: ”What?!”

”Then...we, we...then...” Jiang Ruoqing was at a loss.

Yi Yao nodded: ”Master and I are both the Master’s...women.”
