A Blind Swordsman's Sword Coffin

The tension in the air was palpable. No one dared to underestimate Li Guanqi. Ever since he entered the city, he’d attracted considerable attention, acting exactly like a heretical cultivator who did whatever he wanted.

Li Guanqi didn’t even care who the youth he kicked was. He wasn’t in the mood to talk.

He took the youth’s storage ring and realized the youth had only three thousand high-grade spirit stones on him. “Ptui! Just three thousand? Then why were you acting so high and mighty?”

He’d just spent four thousand high-grade spirit stones, but he made three thousand back right away. He rested both hands on his back and walked out with a grin on his face.

Li Guanqi had heard about a place called the Yin Yang Market in the depths of the Hell Rivers region, but he had no time for it. He looked up at the powerful ripples radiating across the sky and narrowed his eyes. Such powerful spatial ripples... What the hell is in there?

He shook his head. The items displayed on the street stalls were all useless.

“What a bunch of useless crap. Who do they think they’re fooling?” he muttered.

An idea popped into his head, and he turned toward the south of the city.

“Hello, sir... Come play with us~ We’ve got humans, ghosts, and demons! It’ll be a unique experience like no other! We guarantee absolute satisfaction.”

Li Guanqi coughed and stepped into the inn. The moment he stepped inside, he held up three fingers. The woman nodded in understanding.

“Don’t worry, sir. I’ll make the necessary arrangements right away.”

Late that night, Li Guanqi stepped out of the hotel. As usual, he hadn’t touched a single person there. He sighed. “Tsk tsk, my horizons have been broadened...”

He looked down, undid his robes, and glanced at the blood patterns on his body. “If these damn patterns don’t go away, I’ll have to remain a virgin forever. That old man wasn’t lying to me, was he...?”

Although forty percent of the blood patterns on his body had disappeared, if this continued, he’d have to wait until he ascended to the immortal realm before he could experience actual “cultivation amongst mortal distractions.”

Frustrated, he returned to his guesthouse, sat on the floor of his room, and began cultivating.

He’d been pondering one problem over the past few days: his current abilities were too mixed, with too many methods tangled together.

“If there is no judge in this world, I shall unsheathe my sword and become King Yanluo,” he muttered. He had always liked the sword Dao, but his resolve to pursue it crystallized when he spoke those words.

His unwavering resolve helped him overcome the obstacles hindering his sword intent. Previously, his sword intent was purely about dominating the world, but that had transformed. Now, it was even more destructive.

Li Guanqi opened his eyes and murmured, “Yanluo... In that case, I’ll call it Yanluo sword intent from now on. Since the problems are endless, I’ll unleash a massacre, reach the peak of the world, and ascend beyond the nine heavens! Immortals and demons alike will tremble upon hearing my name!”

In that moment, his aura shifted subtly. With a change in mindset, he decided to completely abandon the Dao of spirit spells.

He would let the two flames in his body become supporting actors. The fire seeds continued to glow within him, but he knew they weren’t what he needed to reach the peak of the sword Dao.

Gradually, Li Guanqi began to figure out the sword Dao that belonged only to him.

Both the Domineering Sword sword intent and the Yanluo sword intent existed because of the desire for freedom in his heart.

All he wanted was to do whatever he wanted, unrestricted by anything. The moment something restricted him, he would cleave it in half with his sword.

Buzz!

He closed his eyes. The energy in his body began to boil, tempering his body and getting rid of his impurities. He wanted to pursue the peak of the sword Dao.

A strange insight flashed through his mind, and the Heavenly Destruction Sword Sutra activated on its own. The name of the third move gradually appeared in his consciousness.

“Immortal-Slaying! Wow... Crouching Demon, Heavenly Destruction, and the final move... Immortal-Slaying!”

A translucent spirit light appeared in his mind. He rose slowly, closing his left hand as if holding an invisible sword. Then he began to move.

The Red Lotus Sword in his sword coffin trembled. As if expressing joy, it shone with blinding light.

While Li Guanqi was utterly immersed in meditating on the sword Dao, a fat white turnip woke up.

The moment Peng Luo opened his eyes, he realized he was lying on an unfamiliar altar. Startled, he sprinted off, only to collide with something. A long, bloody gash appeared on his forehead.

Peng Luo looked up and saw the shining Red Lotus Sword.

“Ahhhhh! Someone’s trying to kill this radish! Ahhhhh! Don’t kill me! I’ll cut a little chunk for you, alright?”

Peng Luo clutched his head and lay face down on the ground, not daring to move.

The aura radiating from the Red Lotus Sword was simply too terrifying.

He lay trembling, mumbling, “It’s a Heaven-Opening-tier sword! Whose sword is that? It’s awakened twice too!”

After a lengthy wait, nothing occurred. Peng Luo then glanced at the unmoving Red Lotus Sword and sprinted again.

But just a few steps away, he looked up and saw an incredibly beautiful woman levitating quietly in mid-air. A snow-white bone sword rested at the center of her slightly translucent body, having become one of her bones.

Her lashes trembled slightly, tugging at his heartstrings.

Whoosh!

Peng Luo’s forehead wound had healed. Seeing that the woman wasn’t moving, he flew over while drooling and stood on her belly.

Eyes wide, he extended his arms to touch her twin peaks—

Then Sword Spirit seemed to sense something. Her brow furrowed, and she slapped Peng Luo into the air.

Purple patterns flashed across Peng Luo as he flew. Half of his round body had been flattened. That slap had almost smashed him to bits.

Peng Luo shed tears of regret. “Just a little bit more! I almost had it!”

Li Guanqi opened his eyes slowly and let out a long sigh. Vital force surged through him, blasting off his smelly sweat.

“Immortal-Slaying Slash... What an extraordinary sword move...” he muttered.

Then his eyes widened. “What?!”

Buzz!

Li Guanqi’s divine soul appeared in the realm inside the sword coffin. Looking at the half-dead turnip on the ground, he muttered, “Did I punch it that hard? It still hasn’t woken up?”

Peng Luo sat up the moment he heard Li Guanqi’s voice. His eyes lit up, and he slid down to his knees.

“I’m begging you, Brother! I’ll follow you forever! Just let me have that woman!”

He followed Peng Luo’s finger and saw Sword Spirit. His eyes widened. His mouth twitched, and a cold sweat broke out on his skin. He swallowed hard.

He looked at Sword Spirit stiffly.

“I’m begging you...” Peng Luo said.
