Chapter 803 Left With No Choice But To Resort Violence

Somewhere inside the Phoenix kingdom, a beautiful woman wearing a white robe can be seen standing at the edge of the hill and she was staring at the night sky with her longing eyes.

”My lady there is something you need to know...” As she was in her daze a figure of a man manifested right behind her, upon hearing that voice the woman turned her head and looked at the person who was one of his knees and his gaze was directed towards the ground, he was not directly looking the women who were standing right in front of him.

”What happened, is everything alright?” the woman asked in a gentle voice, the man shook his head hearing that woman.

”Lady Athena Itʼs related to the person that you asked us to keep an eye on...we got important information regarding Yohan the young master of the Lin clan.”The man spoke in a calm manner but Athenaʼs facial expressions changed drastically after hearing Yohanʼs name from his mouth.

”raise your head and tell me everything that you come to know about him, is he alright? Where is he right now?”Athena asked, having a serious expression on her beautiful face and she looked at that man in an impatient manner.

the man raised his head and looked at Athena, he was slightly taken aback by surprise seeing how impatient she was hearing yohanʼs name, he was not expecting that someone like Athena would react in such a manner and lost her calmness, afterall she is someone who always maintains her demeanour and calmness in every situation but this very moment she is a completely different person.

”he destroyed the Xian clan inside the northern region and killed that clanʼs patriarch in cold blood, itʼs highly classified information,” the man said. Athena raised her brows hearing him.

”Is the source of information reliable? Are you certain that the information you got is true about Yohan?”Athena asked, having a complex look on her face.

”My lady we got this news from the information Guild and you already know how reliable those people are when it comes to such information, this information canʼt be wrong,” the man spoke in a confident manner, hearing him Athena turn silent and a moment later she took a deep breath.

”So he has finally decided to take action against those people, just as I expected, those people finally got on his nerves and pushed him to the edge where he was left with no choice but to resort to violence,” Athena whispered and she took a few steps closer to the man who was on his knees and she petted his back and signalled him to follow her from behind.

”Did anyone accompany him to the battlefield, precisely someone related to my elder sister?”Athena asked in a serious manner while walking down to the hill in the direction of the mansion that is situated at the foot of the hill.

”There is no movement from Lady Evelynʼs side, he himself took down the entire clan and killed the patriarch of the Xian clan, if it werenʼt from the information guild I myself wouldnʼt believe what I heard in the first place,” the man responded to Athena while walking behind her.

”And why is that? why is it hard to believe that he destroyed that damn clan by himself!”Athena slightly tilted her head and asked that man, a bitter smile appeared on that manʼs face hearing Athena but nevertheless, he shook his head.

”Itʼs just that...he is someone who is so young and the person he killed was a high-level cultivator, it is indeed hard to believe but I trust my instinct that he must be an extraordinary person after all he Piqued your attention, my lady,” the man responded to Athena.

Athena turned silent hearing him and after a moment she broke her silence.

”He is indeed an extraordinary person...”Athena whispered as she took a long sigh before continuing again.

”Did Mother knows about him?”

”...”

She halted her movement and looked behind, the man turned silent but a weird smile can be seen on his face, seeing that smile on his face athena sighed in a defeated manner.

”So she knows about him, did she ask you to investigate him, Ingram?”Athena asked, having a serious expression on her face, the man named Ingram turned silent hearing Athena but a moment later he shook his head.

”My lady I was simply doing my job, and you already know about your motherʼs nature, you and Lady Mia are precious to her and she will do anything to keep the two of you safe,” Ingram muttered in a low voice as he looked Athena in a resolute manner, seeing those expressions on his face athena frowned and later she shook her head looking at the mansion right in front of her eyes.

”Well whatever sooner or later she is bound to know about him, afterall she is obsessed with her daughters, either way, I am not going to let her disturb him” Athena exclaimed as she tilted her head.

”Ingram there is something very important that I need you to do for me, and you are the only one whom I trust on this, so please donʼt disappoint me.”Athena looked at Ingram in a serious manner, seeing that look Ingram nervously swallowed and his heart started beating faster and louder.

”You donʼt have to be courteous lady Athena, I am someone who serves you and your wish is my command, ask me anything and I will do everything in strength to not disappoint you” he responded,Athena smiled seeing that look on his face, she turned to him and patted his shoulder.

”I am leaving this place for a while and I want you to keep my absence hidden from everyone, if anyone came looking for me then tell them that I am in closed cultivation and canʼt be disturbed,” Athena said with a gentle smile.

”Wait what?”Ingramʼs facial expressions darkened hearing Athena and before he could confront her about this request Athenaʼs figure started fading away in front of his very eyes and soon she was nowhere to be seen, in an instant he fell on his knees.

”Not again lady Athena...your mother is going to kill me if she comes to know about this,” he shouted at the top of his lungs.

”I trust you...I know you will manage everything in my absence, just keep my absence secret for a while...” A fading voice that belonged to Athena echoed in the surrounding, hearing that voice Ingram could only sigh in a defeated manner.
