Dual Cultivator Reborn[System In The Cultivation World]

Chapter 496 Secrets of past

”I guess I am lucky that I regained my consciousness pretty soon” Yohan responded to Evelyn with a weird smile and he scratched the back of his head in nervousness.

”Is that so, you are one of the luckiest person I ever met in my entire life, you were lucky when you survive that lightning bolt one year ago, then your luck struck again when you survive from that lethal poison,” Evelyn placed the chair right next to the bed that she is dragged one corner to another corner and took a seat while saying those words to yohan.

Hearing Evelynʼs words a cold sweat appeared on his forehead after all she was not looking in a good mood, and the way she was talking to him, it sounded too sarcastic to him, after all, why did she bring up all those things that happened to yohan.

”I mean...yes...indeed, my luck is something else”yohan responded to Evelyn with a shaky voice, right now the situation was kind of awkward to him, he is even trying to avoid Evely nʼs gaze, after all his gaze is going to her lips that he touched when she was in slumber to extract that dark energy from her body, that was the one of the longest kiss of his life that he did to the woman who is known to be very dangerous person throughout the kingdom.

Evelyn raised her eyebrows when she heard Yohanʼs response and she crossed her right leg over her left leg.

”Yes, indeed your luck is something else, the list is pretty long, you initiated the soulbond with that cursed sword and later you initiated another soul bond with one more weapon, ”Evelyn looked at yohan in a calm manner as she mentioned about the second soulbond, yohanʼs facial expressions changed when he heard about that after all, no one knows about that armor apart from his grandpaʼs, Evelyn noticed those changes of expression on yohanʼs face but she remains calm and opened her mouth again.

”you havenʼt stopped there donʼt you, what surprised me most was that you killed three high-level cultivators, who are way above then you in In terms of cultivation, I am talking about Hansa and Mansa and of course that poor Nicholas who died by your hands, care to tell me how did you do all of this apart from being lucky”Evelyn shoot a serious gaze as she asked him, yohan felt a chilly sensation from head to toe and gulped nervously.

”Ahh my head, itʼs hurt, I think I am losing my consciousness again”seeing Evelynʼs sharp gaze at him yohan placed his right hand over his head and tried to act dizzy, he even closed his eyes and started moving his body slowly in a circle.

”Did someone told you that you are worst at pretending, You are not going to get away this time until you give me every single damn answer to my questions, otherwise Forget leaving this place in a single piece, and trust me no one can help you” Evelynʼs cold voice resounded in yohanʼs head and hearing that voice yohan slowly opened his eyes and looked her with a bitter smile.

”I told you that I was lucky, why donʼt you believe me, you are treating me like some criminal, I didnʼt do anything, I just saved your life...”Yohan exclaimed as he looked at Evelyn.

”At what cost by losing your half soul”Evelyn looked at Yohan and said those words in a cold voice, Yohanʼs facial expressions drastically changed and it became serious.

”You know about that,” Yohan said as he exhaled deeply and looked at Evelyn who was looking at him.

”Why did you do that, are you aware of the consciousness of taking that kind of step, if anything happened to me then...”

”I will lose my life, I am aware of that, I did what I feel like doing at the very moment and I donʼt regret of making that decision at that point, if god somehow gives me second chance, I will do it all over again for the sake of love once, for the sake of your disciple and for the sake of athena”yohan looked Evelyn with a serious gaze as he said those words to her.

The moment Yohan mentioned about Athenaʼs name, Evelynʼs face turned pale and she got frozen at that moment, yohan could see the trembling lips that were having a hard time uttering the name of her younger sister.

”She was there with you inside the soul subspace, she spended more than two weeks right next to you, I know I shouldnʼt say this but she loves you”yohan took a deep breath and said to Evelyn who is looking at yohan in a different manner, for the first time in his life he saw her like that, she is known for her witty or cold personality, in front of her people remains silent no matter who you are and what your origin is, everyone knows about it but at this moment Evelyn was silent and gathering her thoughts.

”How do you know athena” after a few minutes of silence, Evelyn finally opened her mouth and asked him in low voice, her cold voice become completely different, yohan could easily say that she was shocked to learn the truth about athena, yohan didnʼt intended to hide the fact that he knows athena and she remain beside her when she was inside the soul substance. Evelyn deserves to know about athena.

Yohan smiled and moved his body slowly and he slightly closed the distance between them and placed his legs on the ground, they were sitting a few inches apart from each other.

”I met her inside the void, that bastard Nicholas activated void and trapped me inside that place before dying, I got thrown into that dimension along with Natasha, and thatʼs when I first met her, she was there for void core, and I was just trying to find my way out from that place along with Natasha, our first meeting didnʼt go well inside that place...”yohan started explaining everything that happened inside the void and how he met athena for the first time, of course, he hide some details from her but apart from those minor details he was explaining every other thing that happened inside that place, at the same time Evelyn is calmly looking at yohan as he explaining about his first meeting with athena, yohan has a different glint in his eyes the way he is talking about her.

After a few minutes later he finally finished explaining everything about her and looked at Evelyn with a bitter smile” the first meeting was a disaster, I barely saved mine and Natashaʼs life inside that place, after leaving void I never thought that I will see her again, I even forget about that meeting but alas I didnʼt know all that time she was searching for me to get her revenge,”yohan took a deep sigh as he explains to Evelyn.

”You are the reason why she placed her foot inside the northern region, ”Evelyn asked.

”At first yes I was the reason why she came inside this region but things change when she becomes aware of your condition and she even gave up on the void core,”yohan said with a smile.
