Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2517: Chapter 2511: Wanting Saffron

”You’re back, where did you go? I came by your house earlier and the door was locked,” Nangong Beiying looked at Qin Xue. She had visited once, but no one was home, so she left and came back now, not knowing where they had gone, as no one had told her.

”We went to a temple. Is there something you need from me?” Qin Xue looked at Nangong Beiying, wondering why someone as busy as her had time to visit her house.

”I wanted to ask if you have any saffron,” Nangong Beiying said, clearly having a reason to visit. Otherwise, how would she have any free time?

”What do you need saffron for?” Qin Xue asked, looking at Nangong Beiying. Could it be she was thinking of having an abortion now?

”What are you thinking? I just need it for something useful, don’t imagine things that aren’t there.” As soon as Nangong Beiying saw Qin Xue’s expression, she knew what she was thinking. If she wanted to abort the child, she wouldn’t have waited until now, and after several months, how could she not want it?

”Then what do you need it for?” Qin Xue asked Nangong Beiying. With such a question, who wouldn’t misunderstand?

”I need it for a medicine, but I couldn’t find any, so I thought to ask since you’re always making medicine.” Nangong Beiying just needed it to make a specific medicine, not for personal use.

”Oh, I see. Well, I don’t have much of it.” Qin Xue, realizing her misunderstanding, wasn’t embarrassed. But she really didn’t have any saffron. It’s hard to grow, and she hadn’t visited where it grows nor bought the seeds, so she couldn’t plant it in her space. Now she thought about needing to find some extra seeds; it’s called a flower, but it has significant medicinal value. She used to buy it from pharmacies, but now that she’s asked to give some, she truly can’t.

”How much do you have left? I just need ten grams.” Nangong Beiying had asked at the pharmacy, and they were out of stock, so she came to Qin Xue hoping for luck. Now Qin Xue said she didn’t have any either. It’s awkward, is there none anywhere? Who needs this medicine lately? It’s a blood-moving medicine.

Ordinary people don’t use it unless there’s blood stagnation or to regulate when menstruation doesn’t come. It’s used to bring it on time; otherwise, it’s unnecessary.

Nangong Beiying needed it, not knowing why she was curious about its use.

”A subordinate isn’t feeling well and needs this medicine, so stop imagining things.” Nangong Beiying directly dismissed Qin Xue’s wild thoughts. For them, such speculations are incomprehensible because what she’s thinking is just nonsense.

”How do you know what I’m thinking? Are you a worm in my stomach?” Qin Xue laughed, asking Nangong Beiying. She hadn’t said anything, so how did Nangong Beiying know what she was thinking?

”That’s disgusting, can you not say such things?” Nangong Beiying retorted directly.

What is going on, comparing her to something so gross? She certainly didn’t want that, it almost made her want to curse.

”Isn’t it true? Otherwise, how do you know what I’m thinking when I don’t say it?” Qin Xue dropped what she was doing and tangled with Nangong Beiying playfully.
