Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 949: Chapter 943: Assistance_1

“Yeah, I haven’t thought about that way too. However, I might be very busy by that time, so you need to pay extra attention.” Qin Xue considered that she could not always be at home. If there was an emergency at her military unit, she would still have to return to duty. So, working from home while caring for her children was a pretty good deal, just like maternity leave in the modern world, which always has a time limit.

“Rest assured, I’ve caused enough trouble for you already. If I can’t even help out with a little housework, can I still call myself a human?” It was almost a given for Fang Xiu to agree, especially considering the guilt she had been harboring.

“Fang Xiu, what are you thinking? I never blame you for anything. We’re friends, and family. You’re making it sound as if we’re strangers. If you feel bad, later on, when I have two kids, you can help me take care of them. I’ll pay you a salary, how about that?” Qin Xue thought it was a viable solution.

Anyway, after giving birth to her baby, Fang Xiu would also have to take care of her child. Qin Xue’s children could be looked after by Xue Ling. In this way, they could help each other, and it wouldn’t be too exhausting. Plus, if Qin Xue offered her a salary, Fang Xiu wouldn’t feel like she was constantly unemployed. Although the money wouldn’t be much, but it would definitely be helpful.

“Qin Xue, even without you mentioning that, I would still look after the kids. I owe you a lot and I will repay you when the kids grow up and I can work again. So, don’t mention salary anymore, it should be me paying you. Can you please not bring this up again?” Fang Xiu felt embarrassed upon hearing this. As women, why was the gap between her and Qin Xue so vast?

“Alright, I won’t bring it up once more. But don’t overthink it, you just maintain a good mood and give birth to a beautiful baby. Don’t always be troubled, or you might end up birthing a gloomy baby.

… Fang Xiu, do you know that a parent’s mood can greatly influence their baby’s body and mind? So, for your own sake, as well as the baby in your belly and Taotao’s, you should not think too much.” Qin Xue thought about modern times in which pregnant women would often listen to prenatal music, read books, practice yoga, and so on. Their current situation was far from what she experienced. If Fang Xiu didn’t keep her mood in check, she might end up having a baby with perpetual sorrow.

Fang Xiu was startled after hearing this. She hadn’t paid much attention to this issue, so no wonder when she was in a bad mood, the baby in her belly was often wildly active. So, her mood was affecting her baby?

“Qin Xue, thank you.” After hearing Qin Xue’s words, Fang Xiu adjusted her mind.’/p>

“That’s more like it!” Seeing Fang Xiu’s reaction, Qin Xue knew that she had taken her words to heart and she laughed. What Qin Xue appreciated about Fang Xiu was that she was willing to learn and change herself.

It was something many people couldn’t do. But Fang Xiu managed to do it every time, showing an excellent quality that Qin Xue admired greatly. As a result, when Fang Xiu came to her for help, Qin Xue agreed without a second thought and treated her as a sibling.

One’s morality can be seen through the details. Qin Xue could never treat her cousin, Qin Qiu, the same way she treated Fang Xiu. She was a little bit jealous, but as long as it was not directed at her, it could be a good thing. Envy could motivate her to improve and become more outstanding. Therefore, Qin Xue would also support her. Qin Qiu should now be a forewoman at the factory. She had asked Guo Aiguo to keep an eye on the siblings. Those who performed well would be promoted and those who didn’t would continue to be ordinary workers.

Based on her limited understanding of Qin Qiu, Qin Xue believed that she was an ambitious person. Hence, Qin Xue expected her to get promoted.
