“There are plenty of things to do, if you aren’t too lazy and can handle it,” Qin Xue said, looking at them. Both of them seemed to be pampered ladies, so they might not be able to handle it.

“Tell me what I can do, and I won’t back down.” To An Hao, this sounded like a challenge.

“Yeah, sister-in-law, just tell us if there’s something we can help with! As long as it doesn’t involve blind dates,” Chu Xiaoqiao said, feeling uncomfortable when thinking about people scrutinizing her like a piece of merchandise to be picked up.

“Fine, since you both insist, let’s do something,” Qin Xue went on to share her plans.

“Qin Xue, why don’t you open your own shop if you’ve already thought this far?” An Hao asked after hearing Qin Xue’s plans.

“I just moved to the Imperial Capital and don’t know many people. I also don’t have much capital to start a store, which is why I can only work with suppliers for now,” Qin Xue hadn’t considered this, but where would she get the money? She’s poor, and even though the government had loan policies for entrepreneurs to help develop the economy, it wasn’t available yet in 1982. So, there’s not much money to invest.

“It’s lucky I asked you, and you told me. You don’t know that Zhaozi bought you a house initially, but you didn’t move in,” An Hao continued.

“So the house is still unoccupied now, and it’s actually in a great location. The first floor is perfect for your business, and the second floor can be used as living quarters. This way, even if you work late, you won’t have to worry about having nowhere to rest.”

An Hao had actually bought the house herself, so she knew the structure. Qin Xue’s business plans are perfect, allowing them to make the most of the property. Not only does this solve Qin Xue’s problem, but it also makes good use of the house, a total win-win situation.

“Really? Let’s go take a look later. If it’s suitable, we can discuss further plans. What do you think?” Qin Xue hadn’t expected such a coincidence. She had only heard about the house purchase from the couple, but she hadn’t visited it since they hadn’t intended to accept Zhaozi’s gift in the first place.

Now that An Hao mentioned it, she wanted to check it out. If necessary, she could buy it. If she didn’t have enough money, she could just give them an IOU and pay them back as soon as possible. That way, no one would lose out.

“Sure, I’m free anyway. Xiaoqiao, are you going to come with us to see the house or head home first?” An Hao asked. She had come with Chu Xiaoqiao, so she needed to ask for her opinion as well.

“I’ll go with you guys. I don’t have anything to do at home other than getting nagged at. It’s better to be with you guys,” Xiaoqiao said. With her elder brother not at home, she would be constantly nagged if she stayed. Who would want that?

“Alright, it’s settled. I’ll go make lunch first. After I’m done with Xue Ling’s hair, we’ll go out. You have no idea how rarely I go out with the two kids. Today, we’ll all go out and have a good time,” Qin Xue thought. Today, she would take a good look at the prime real estate in this city. Before developing in this area, she needed to buy several houses first, and she could worry about the rest later.
