As the devouring mouth serving as bait, success naturally requires some personal effort.

However, for some unknown reason, when their plan was just beginning to be implemented, Alka began appearing very rarely on the city walls.

Only occasionally would his figure be seen, staying for an unpredictable amount of time, with intervals equally erratic.

This situation led many demons to think their plan had been exposed.

They had to make the plan more discreet and more thorough.

The devouring mouth, contemplating something, turned to another side.

”Farol, when are you handing over the Abyss Core to me?” Without this item, the devouring mouth certainly wouldn’t act as bait.

”No rush, my friend. Trying to extract such a thing from the Abyssal Rift unnoticed isn’t easy. It must be slowly brought out bit by bit.

You’ll need to wait some time, so don’t worry. Haven’t we already signed a contract? It’s one you wrote, so do you fear I might manipulate it?”

Farol looked at the devouring mouth with a hint of mockery, smiling.

After all, the devouring mouth’s actions made demons seem like devils.

The two are natural enemies, so of course, most demons liked to mock the devouring mouth in such situations.

”Hmph, you better hurry. Who knows when our target might run away.”

”Why rush? Isn’t it good if he runs? His leaving is equivalent to us killing him. I wish he’d leave quickly; it’d save us time.”

Farol said.

After all, Alka being here was what alleviated these chaotic circumstances.

If Alka leaves, wouldn’t it be the same effect as if they killed Alka?

The devouring mouth didn’t say more, because he wanted more.

He wanted to directly crush Alka’s soul and even his existence within the Dream Realm.

What he wanted was Alka’s complete death.

...

Elsewhere at this moment.

Chadite had just come out of the bathroom, cleaning off the filth and black blood left from fighting demons on her body.

Her hair still carried a hint of moisture, as she walked beside Alka, wearing snug clothing.

”You seem to have something for me?” Chadite asked, hugging Alka.

Alka embraced her and nodded.

”That’s right, don’t you find that damned Moon Goddess up there excessively obnoxious?”

Chadite nodded: ”Indeed she is obnoxious, but there’s nothing we can do about her, right?

The Holy Mother and they are also helpless against her. She’s merely fulfilling a moon’s duty, just slightly altering the timing.”

That’s exactly what makes it nauseating.

After all, she’s a native and understands the world well, having taken divinity from this world, naturally close to it.

”I’ve been thinking of ways to teach her a lesson and now I’ve come up with a decent method; I have some ideas in my mind.”

”What method?” Chadite asked excitedly.

If there’s a way to punish the damned Moon Goddess, she is very eager to participate and contribute.

Alka briefly went over his plan and explained it.

After hearing Alka’s plan, Chadite slightly furrowed her brow.

Honestly, she hasn’t studied this much, so she doesn’t know if the plan would work.

Thus, looking at Alka with confusion on her face.

Alka nodded: ”Rest assured, there’s a chance of success, and not a small one, though certainly not 100%.”

”Is there anything I can do to help?” Chadite asked.

”It’s simple, can you contact the Moon Maiden? Although she isn’t this world’s moon, she is an extremely powerful moon, isn’t she?”

”Moreover, in these millennia devoid of a moon, she occasionally casts her brilliance upon this world, thereby forming some connection.

Even if she might not intend to, she at least possesses a certain degree of power to affect the Moon Goddess, right?”

Chadite nodded.

The Moon Maiden, able to use moonlight power here without being influenced by the Moon Goddess, indeed has the capability to affect her here.

The issue is she also has her own duties and isn’t this world’s Divine. So even if she can affect the Moon Goddess, she can’t eternally aid Endless Sea.

But if it’s just helping once or for a short period, she would definitely be willing and indeed has that ability.

”Can you contact her and ask for some assistance?

Also, inquire when is the best time to act against the Moon Goddess to most likely impact her.

This time the Goddess must pay a price, preferably losing the ability to let her moonlight shine upon this world again.”

Alka also intends to ask this Moon Maiden which type of divinity within the Moon Goddess’s body is most likely the key impacting this world.

For Alka believes that for this Moon Goddess, her body certainly contains more than 6 types of divinity.

That number is just the basic requirement for Ascension to Divinity.

For such powerful and ancient natural Divines, the divinity within their bodies has long exceeded that amount.

It’s best to let Alka steal a lethal divinity in an instant to completely affect her.
