”Get past him... Get past him... Get past him!”

Seeing Yang Yang dribble toward Marvin Dorin with the ball, Dick Van Puer shouted excitedly from the sidelines.

Even the veteran John Reep couldn’t help but look on with anticipation, wanting to see Yang Yang’s Pendulum Move again.

On the pitch, Yang Yang suddenly slowed as he approached Marvin Dorin, facing him with immense confidence. Once the distance closed, Yang Yang abruptly burst forward, executing a Pendulum Move. Just like before, he feinted to the outside to deceive his opponent, but his real breakthrough was on the inside.

Even though Marvin Dorin was mentally prepared this time, he was still deceived by Yang Yang’s footwork and feints. He could only watch helplessly as his opponent broke through on the inside and left him in the dust, too far away to even grab.

”Whoa! That was beautiful!”

”Another Pendulum Move! He’s amazing!”

”Who is this number nine? Two Pendulum Moves in a row, he’s incredible!”

”You don’t know? Heh heh, that’s the Almere Youth Team’s top rising star, Yang Yang.”

”I know Henk Demyer, but this Yang Yang...”

”Remember his name. Yang Yang. He’s definitely going to make it big one day!”

Hearing the cheers of the fans, John Reep and Dick Van Puer were also ecstatic the moment Yang Yang successfully got past his man. His Pendulum Move, in particular, was simply a joy to watch.

After getting past Marvin Dorin, Yang Yang didn’t hesitate, sending a square pass to the edge of the penalty area. Henk Demyer, who had made a run from deep, saw that the left center-back had been drawn to the right by Yang Yang. He immediately seized the opportunity, carried the ball into the box, and unleashed a powerful shot between the two center-backs, sending the ball into AS80’s goal once again.

Two-two!

Henk Demyer, ecstatic, turned and ran to Yang Yang’s side. He grabbed Yang Yang’s hand, and they ran together toward the fans on the sidelines. He wanted to share this goal with Yang Yang.

This goal wouldn’t have been possible without Yang Yang.

The fans on the sidelines were also thrilled, cheering for them nonstop.

It was indeed a spectacular goal, especially Yang Yang’s breakthrough on the right wing.

Who would have thought that Marvin Dorin would fail to stop two consecutive Pendulum Moves? What on earth was going on?

Only Yang Yang himself knew the truth. Marvin Dorin’s skill was, at best, slightly above the fourth-division level. But the defenders Yang Yang trained with every night in the Super Training were third-division level. Although he still lost more than he won against them, facing a slightly-above-fourth-division player like Marvin Dorin was now well within his comfort zone.

’If our team weren’t under so much pressure in this match, I’m confident I could create even more scoring opportunities.’

Amidst the cheering crowd, Yang Yang saw Head Coach John Reep and Dick Van Puer. Both coaches nodded at him with a smile, as if in approval of his performance.

Meanwhile, behind Yang Yang and the others, Wesley Snowye walked over to Marvin Dorin to ask him what was going on.

”You let a sixteen-year-old kid get past you again and again?”

Wesley Snowye thought it must be because Marvin Dorin was being too careless. How else could it be explained?

”The first time, I was careless. But the second time, I was paying attention, and I still didn’t expect...” Marvin Dorin said, feeling deeply frustrated.

He hadn’t expected this outcome either.

At eighteen, he already had two seasons of first-team experience. He had performed especially well last season and had a good chance of becoming a starter for the team in the new season. He originally thought that facing a bunch of sixteen and seventeen-year-old kids would be a piece of cake, but he never expected this number nine to be so difficult to handle.

”You have to stop him, no matter what!” Wesley Snowye said fiercely.

’If the other first-team players find out I came to play an amateur match and still lost, how can I possibly keep my standing on the first team?’

...

...

Both teams went into halftime with the score tied at two-two.

By equalizing right before the end of the half, Almere had restored their morale. Everyone began to believe that as long as they defended their goal and created chances for Yang Yang, he could definitely create another deadly opportunity.

Thus, the tactics for the second half naturally continued to revolve around Yang Yang, with everyone else focusing more on defense.

The match restarted, with the teams switching sides.

Marvin Dorin, experienced after all, quickly learned his lesson from the first half. He started to man-mark Yang Yang tightly, and with assistance from the midfielder Kueller, it made things very difficult for Yang Yang on the right flank.

Under the pressure of AS80’s superior overall strength, it was hard for Almere to spare players to support Yang Yang. This led to Almere’s offense becoming lackluster and their defense becoming precarious.

In the sixty-fourth minute of the match, Yang Yang got a chance and tried to dribble past Marvin Dorin again. This time, however, Marvin didn’t wait for Yang Yang to execute his Pendulum Move. He committed a quick and decisive foul, earning a yellow card but also disrupting one of Almere’s few attacks in the second half.

As one side’s momentum waned, the other’s grew. The defensive pressure on Almere multiplied, and even Henk Demyer had to fall back to the edge of the penalty area to defend.

Meanwhile, Yang Yang was on the pitch, racking his brain for a way to break the deadlock.

...

...

’What should I do?’

Yang Yang thought, frustrated, as he stood with his hands on his hips, panting.

’I know we can’t go on like this. Our defensive line will be broken sooner or later. We have to counterattack.’

’A decent counterattacking threat would make the opponent wary and relieve the pressure on our defense.’

’But how?’

’Since the start of the second half, they’ve tightened their marking on me. There’s always someone nearby, which makes it hard for me to do anything.’

’Looking at Kueller and Marvin Dorin, they also seem to be struggling. Kueller, in particular, is panting even harder than I am.’

’Both teams have given their all, and by now, many players are exhausted. This might be an opportunity, but how can I capitalize on it?’

Yang Yang’s stamina had always been one of his strong points. Even after coming to the Netherlands and joining the Almere Youth Team, his speed and endurance remained his advantages. A teammate had even once joked, how could such a skinny body contain so much athletic energy?

Soon, Yang Yang thought of his one-on-two training in the Super Training.

’I’ve only been practicing it for less than a month, but I’ve already gained some insight. Besides, my opponents are also very tired now. If I use it properly, I can definitely create a threat.’

’But, would that be too risky?’

’What if I fail?’

Just as Yang Yang was hesitating, two sentences that Old Ice from the Super Training had once said suddenly surfaced in his mind.

”If you want to replace Henk Demyer and stand out at Almere, then you have to prove your worth.”

”At critical moments, the one who dares to shoulder heavy pressure and step up is a true leader.”

Thinking of these two sentences, Yang Yang secretly gritted his teeth and began to strategize.

Almere quickly won the ball back again. The right-back, Nikola, got the ball on the right side. Just as he was about to make a big clearance, he saw Yang Yang quickly dropping back behind the opposing number seven, pointing towards the inside. After a slight hesitation, Nikola immediately passed the ball over.

As expected, Yang Yang suddenly cut inside, shaking off the defender behind him to receive the ball, and smoothly turned around.

This was closer to Kueller’s defensive zone. Seeing Kueller move forward to engage, Marvin Dorin immediately understood and dropped back to provide cover.

Using [God’s Vision], Yang Yang had a perfect grasp of the situation. Before Kueller could get close, he knocked the ball forward and charged ahead, heading straight for Kueller while looking up to keep an eye on Marvin Dorin’s movements behind him.

As the distance between them shrank, Kueller grew tense, even though he knew he had a teammate providing cover behind him. He was startled when Yang Yang suddenly accelerated in front of him. Seeing his opponent posture as if to break through on the inside, he instinctively moved to block him.

The Pendulum Move! It was the Pendulum Move again!

In a flash, a figure blurred past him. Yang Yang had already broken through on his left, on the outside.

Another gasp of surprise erupted from around the pitch, but AS80’s defensive line remained Stable.

Marvin Dorin had been providing cover behind Kueller the whole time. Seeing his teammate get beaten, his first instinct was to quickly close in and press him.

’Yang Yang’s body is skinny. I’m confident that as long as I get close, he’ll be helpless against me.’

But as Marvin Dorin rushed forward, he also exposed a huge gap behind him. After getting past Kueller, Yang Yang still had the ball under control. He took a big touch forward and accelerated once more.

Seeing Yang Yang about to break through on his right, on the inside, Marvin Dorin was shocked. He knew it was too late to stop him and instinctively reached out to grab him, intending to foul and pull Yang Yang down.

’I’m not the last defender. We’re still more than thirty meters from the goal, so it’s completely fine.’

But just as this thought arose, he suddenly remembered he was already on a yellow card. Another card would mean a red.

That momentary hesitation caused him to miss the chance to foul, and he could only watch helplessly as Yang Yang took a big touch and sped past him.

The gasps from the crowd had not yet subsided when a new wave of cheers erupted.

But on the pitch, Yang Yang couldn’t afford to pay attention to anything else. All his focus was on the number four center-back in front of him.

Only that man stood between him and the goalkeeper.

Sprinting at full speed, Yang Yang couldn’t slow down now. He could only charge toward his opponent at top speed, constantly observing his every move. As he entered the defender’s zone, a flash of inspiration struck him, and he lightly knocked the ball to the right.

The number four center-back had clearly been waiting for Yang Yang to make a move. Having seen Yang Yang get past Kueller and Marvin Dorin, he was mentally prepared. He knew that the first part of the Pendulum Move was usually a feint. When he saw Yang Yang go right, he instantly concluded that the real move was to the left and reacted preemptively.

But to his surprise, after knocking the ball lightly past the defender this time, Yang Yang didn’t feint back.

’Damn it! I fell for it!’

By the time the number four center-back realized what had happened, the ball had already slipped past his feet, and Yang Yang had flown past his side, breaking into the penalty area with the ball.

He beat three players in a row!

Everyone around the pitch was stunned!

He had actually dribbled past three defenders in one go!

Inside the penalty area, Yang Yang caught up to the ball again. The only one left in front of him was the goalkeeper. He calmly seized the opportunity and gently slotted the ball into the bottom right corner.

The moment the ball rolled over the goal line, everyone, both inside and outside the stadium, was completely dumbfounded!
