Eternal Thief

“I don’t believe you both aren’t even a little bit curious about the ’surprise’ that Master hinted at before she left?!”

A hint of curiosity surfaced in their devilish eyes when they heard the First Senior’s words. Just as the First Senior mentioned, they were all curious about the ’surprise’ that their master hinted at before she vanished a few days ago.

They all knew what kind of background their Master had, and everything they had today was given to them by their Master, whether it was their cultivation techniques, bloodline, or even mysterious abilities and talents.

At that moment, the expressions of the three women suddenly changed as their eyes darted towards the center of the room. There was a black platform filled with scarlet runes.

It was completely static a moment ago, but now they all could feel faint space undulations rising above it.

The third junior’s eyes narrowed as she coldly exclaimed, “Is something trying to infiltrate the Evil Villa?”

“Very unlikely…” The second junior shook her head and added with uncertainty, “Don’t forget the Evil Villa is gifted to Master by the Dread Duchess, and its defenses are almost on par with the Throne of Ten Thousand Screams. Moreover, the Obsidian Myriad King is under the rule of the Dread Duchess, a Half Abyssal King, member of the King’s Circle of the Evernight Council.

“Those who have the capability of breaking into the Hollow Ring are most likely Grand Abyssal Lords, while to break into Evil Villa, a Half Abyssal King needs to take action personally.

“According to the Evernight Laws, unless provoked, a Half Abyssal King need to alert the Dread Duchess to enter anywhere near the Myriad Hollow, or it’ll be taken as a provocation to the entire King’s Circle not to mention the Dread Duchess’ own prowess is probably ranked among top five within the entire King’s Circle. Provoking her would also be equal to provoking the entire Abyssal Devil Race…”

The other quickly agreed with her statement as they all knew how strict the Evernight Council’s famous ’Evernight Laws’ were, and breaking them was equal to going against the entire Evernight Council.

“Oh, didn’t master also vanish from that exact spot?!” First Senior suddenly exclaimed, and realization dawned on everyone as they all looked towards the platform with anticipation, and a hint of vigilance was present in their eyes.

Right at this moment, above the black platform, a pitch-black flash suddenly appeared, like a bolt of lightning, and vanished in an instant.

However, the platform was no longer empty; now, above it stood a tall figure adorned in a black robe, with his head covered by a long hood.

“T-this strange spirit Qi is filled with different laws of Darkness, how marvelous…this is the Abyss of Wandering Souls?” An exclaiming voice of a male filled with astonishment rang on the silent floor.

“Who are you!?” The First Senior snapped out of her stupor when she realized this person wasn’t their master, and a powerful dark spiritual pressure of an 8-Orbit Abyssal Grand General was released.

It wasn’t just the end there, as a crystalline black bow appeared in her hand. Without hesitation, she drew it in an arc, and an ethereal black arrow filled with killing intent and Abyssal Law formed within the bow.

Not only the First Senior, but the two juniors also realized and reacted equally quickly, and released their aura, and their realms were also Abyssal Grand General, but the Orbit Stages they were in were 5-Orbit, inferior to their First Senior.

The second junior also drew her weapon, a short sword, while the third junior was holding a long purple spear.

Moreover, at this moment, behind the three women, a vague devilish phantom manifested. The first senior’s devilish phantom has eight dark-yellow glyphs orbiting it, while the second and third junior’s devilish phantom has six dark-yellow glyphs orbiting them.

In the Abyss of Wandering Souls, although the titles of the cultivation realms were almost identical to the Mortal Ascension Heaven, their paths were slightly different.

The Cultivation system of the Mortal Ascension Heaven focused on cultivating Nascent Worlds with Prime Laws, while the Cultivation System of the Abyss of Wandering Souls focused on cultivating ’Abyssal Souls’ by devouring abyssal spirit Qi.

Although the Abyssal Beings also have Prime Laws, their Prime Laws were completely different from the Heavenly Beings, and they were all related to the Abyss and focused on the concept of devouring and sacrifice.

That’s why there were no Nine-Star stages, but Nine Orbits. An Orbit is also called a ’Soul Emblem’, which manifests after an abyssal being devours enough abyssal spiritual Qi or sacrifices other beings or treasures by either devouring them.

However, the ability to devour could vary among different Abyssal Beings because of their heritage and bloodlines. Furthermore, if an Abyssal Being has an ordinary bloodline and heritage, their growth potential would be limited no matter how much they devour.

In fact, once such Abyssal Beings reach their limit, they can’t devour Abyssal Spirit Qi anymore. Unless they can evaluate their bloodline and evolve by devouring a superior Abyssal Being, they’ll forever remain in their current limited state.

The three women possess one of the top three heritage and bloodlines of the Abyss of Wandering Souls, the Abyssal Devil Bloodline, which grants them extremely high potential, enabling them to devour nearly everything within the Abyss.

Furthermore, the Abyssal Souls that the Abyssal Devil Bloodline cultivates were called the ’Evil Souls’, which also grant them great advantages as long as their bloodline is dense enough, and the same rule applies to the other top races of the Abyss, like the Abyssal Demons and Abyssal Fiends.

Moreover, these unique Abyssal Souls cultivated by top Abyssal Races also have absolute suppression power over weaker abyssal souls, especially on those races who didn’t have a bloodline originating from the Abyss and without the title of ’Abyss’, like ’Black Devils’, ’Demonic Imps’, or ’Giant Demons’.

Right now, the three abyssal devils have completely released their full prowess and manifested their Evil Souls in front of this unknown intruder. They had no intention of going easy on him.

However, at this moment, the ’intruder’ seemed to have finally noticed them, and the scene of him trembling under their prowess didn’t occur at all.

If anything, the intruder was startled and gobsmacked when he saw their faces, not because of their otherworldly, devilish appearances, but because he found them familiar yet also foreign.

Suddenly, those familiar figures overlapped with their current appearance, and his dark blue eyes widened in astonishment.

He couldn’t help but exclaimed with a hint of disbelief, “You three are…the Elven Crown Princess Livia, the Golden Lion Princess Riana, and the Imperial Princess of the Skylar Clan, Sofia, right?!”
