Samsara Tower: Only I Know the Plot!

Chapter 92: Chapter 92: Don’t Provoke the Admiral (2/10)

”Shura, there’s something you need to keep in mind.”

Aurora said with a serious tone.

”Devil Fruits—each person can only eat one. If you clear this trial, you’ll be rewarded with a Devil Fruit, but it might not be a rare type. I suggest you avoid taking it recklessly... otherwise, you may end up regretting it, just like I did!”

Fenric nodded in agreement.

He was already aware of the rules from the storyline. Of course, he knew that eating a Devil Fruit indiscriminately could give you a useless or troublesome ability—and worse, ruin your life.

In fact, Fenric was quite curious.

What kind of Devil Fruit did Aurora eat for her to regret it so deeply?

But that topic touched on Aurora’s personal matters.

Their relationship wasn’t close enough yet, and it would be unwise to pry—better to avoid creating any awkwardness.

”Ms. Morwyn, you ranked fifth in the military trial back then, right? Do you remember who the top four were?” Fenric asked.

”Hmm? That was a long time ago... let me think.”

Aurora paused, then replied,

”The first was a blind man. His codename was ’Fujitora.’

”Don’t let his blindness fool you—he’s terrifyingly strong.

I’ve seen him spar in close combat, and his swordsmanship is top-notch.

Plus, he has a powerful Devil Fruit ability.”

Fenric remained calm on the surface—but his heart skipped a beat.

Fujitora?

Isn’t that one of the future Admirals?

Of course Admirals are powerful—but...

Fenric knew the plot.

He clearly remembered Fujitora’s story.

This man only joined the Navy after the war at Marineford.

Following the war, Akainu was promoted to Fleet Admiral, and Aokiji left the Navy.

That left two Admiral positions open.

To fill them, the Navy launched a global draft—”World Military Conscription.”

It was then that Fujitora joined the force.

In just two years, he rose to the position of Admiral thanks to his overwhelming strength, code-named ”Fujitora” (Wisteria Tiger).

He, alongside Ryokugyu (Green Bull) and Kizaru (Yellow Monkey), became known as the New Three Admirals.

So... if the Third Stage ”One Piece” dungeon really takes place two years after the Marineford War, then why did the 28th-floor dungeon already reach the Marineford timeline?

Wasn’t the timeline of the large-scale dungeons supposed to progress in order?

And once an identity is assigned in a major dungeon, that identity continues into future dungeons—so why was there such a clear timeline inconsistency?

Aurora continued,

”Second place went to Momonga. Very tall, excellent in hand-to-hand combat, a sword master, and overall a formidable opponent.”

”As for third place... I’m sorry, it’s been too long—I can’t remember.”

”But I clearly remember the fourth place. He beat me back then—his name was Smoker. He was still a recruit at the time. Always had two cigars hanging from his mouth.”

Hearing that, Fenric was stunned again.

Smoker?

Another notable figure in the One Piece universe.

Then the confusion truly began to set in.

Aurora just said that Smoker was a recruit during the third-level dungeon trial.

Combine that with the presence of Momonga, a future Vice Admiral, and the clues pointed to one thing:

The third-level dungeon’s timeline must be set before Luffy set out to sea.

But then what about Fujitora?

Why was he in the Navy so early?

Was it an intentional move by the Samsara system to raise the difficulty?

Wanting to clarify the timeline, Fenric asked,

”Ms. Morwyn, when you were running the third-level dungeon, who were the Admirals? And who was the Fleet Admiral?”

”The Fleet Admiral was Sengoku. The Admirals were Akainu, Aokiji, and Kizaru,” Aurora replied matter-of-factly.

Then, she warned seriously,

”Shura, if you’re planning to choose the Pirate camp, don’t provoke any of those guys—especially not the three Admirals. They’re the highest combat force of the Navy HQ. Each one of them is terrifying in their own right!”

After hearing this, Fenric finally confirmed it—the third-level dungeon timeline was definitely before Luffy set out on his journey.

As for why Fujitora was already in the Navy... it must’ve been a deliberate tweak by the Samsara system to increase the challenge.

”Thank you for the warning.” Fenric said.

Only a fool would provoke the Admirals.

His true target remained the Celestial Dragons.

That said...

With this timeline, killing a Celestial Dragon wouldn’t be easy.

The main story hadn’t begun yet, which meant Fenric couldn’t use canon plot points to set a trap.

The only place he knew for sure where the Celestial Dragons appeared was the Holy Land: Mary Geoise.

And with his current power level?

Trying to invade Mary Geoise would be like... an old man eating birthday cake made of steel—it’s just suicidal.

”By the way, when you cleared the third-level dungeon, did you hear where the Celestial Dragons might show up?” Fenric asked.

”The Celestial Dragons? You mean the ones with bubbles on their heads?”

”Yeah.”

”The Navy HQ, of course. After the assessment ends, a representative of the Celestial Dragons comes to crown the top three.”

Aurora paused, then looked at him suspiciously.

”Shura... don’t tell me you’re planning to pick the Pirate side and assassinate a Celestial Dragon at Navy HQ? Don’t be crazy! That place is crawling with monsters. Even if you get inside, you’ll never get close to a Celestial Dragon!”

”Those nobles may be weak themselves, but they’re heavily guarded. Plus, Admiral Kizaru is there—and he’s got the Light-Light Fruit. His speed is basically light-speed. If you make a move, you’ll die before you even draw your weapon!”

”...”

Fenric nodded. He agreed—it was practically suicide to attempt an assassination at Navy HQ.

But even so...

He hadn’t given up on killing a Celestial Dragon.

Then he asked again,

”Do you remember how long it took between the end of the assessment and the arrival of the Celestial Dragon?”

”Of course. Six days.” Aurora Morwyn answered without hesitation.

Fenric’s eyes lit up.

Six days...?

That meant if he chose to assassinate a Celestial Dragon, and survived for just one day, he could escape before the Admirals even arrived!

”Ms. Morwyn, thank you for all this information. I owe you one.” Fenric said earnestly.

Aurora chuckled,

”Well, your favor must be worth a lot—I’ll be sure to cash it in~”
