RE: LORD OF TIME

William left the cave and returned to the middle area of Mist Mountain.

His platinum-white hair and red eyes had already returned to their previous state.

Since he was essentially still a human and only possessed the power of a vampire bloodline because of his Chaos Bloodline, it was very easy for him to retain his original appearance.

But even after returning to his original appearance, a kingly aura, an aura of superiority, still surrounded William, making him extremely eye-catching as he walked down from Mist Mountain.

It was because of the title he had received after assimilating the Origin Grade Bloodline.

---) Progenitor’s Blood: You possess the blood of a Vampire Progenitor, allowing you to start a new lineage different from the existing vampire lineage. Increases your charm greatly and makes all vampires feel an urge to submit before you.

=====

The Progenitor’s Blood title increased his charm greatly, making him the center of attention everywhere he went.

Of course, William could control this charm, and in fact, he was doing it right now as he walked down from the mountain.

But even in its controlled state, the aura around him remained extremely attractive, making people look at him.

’If I don’t control this overflowing charm from my title, wouldn’t I be able to easily control these people using the Heart Devourer ability that I learned from my bloodline memories?’

William thought and increased the suppression of his aura, as he didn’t like people staring at him as if he were some kind of walking circus.

As he walked, he couldn’t help but look at his title again.

The increase in his charm was just one of the aspects of his new title. The main effect of this title was that he could start a new lineage different from the existing vampire lineage.

What did it mean to start a new lineage?

Simply put, other than William, all the other vampires, including Vivian, that existed in the world were related to Blood Ancestor, the Progenitor of Vampires.

But now William could start a new lineage that wouldn’t be related to Blood Ancestor, but to himself.

He could create new vampires who would be completely unrelated to Blood Ancestor and instead be someone related to him.

’I need to carefully consider how to approach this ability. I can’t just go around turning people into vampires, or the fact that I possess a Vampire Progenitor Bloodline will be exposed in no time.’

There was another thing that worried William. He had asked Vivian about Blood Ancestor, and according to her, it was very likely that he was still alive.

William really didn’t know what kind of reaction he would have if he were to find out that William possessed the bloodline of the Vampire Progenitor and was planning to create new vampires.

”What a headache...” He muttered with a sigh and shook his head.

As he descended the mountain, he couldn’t help but look at the clear sky and felt an urge to unfurl his vampire wings and take flight.

But he could only think about it without acting.

Not to mention that it was forbidden for anyone below the Star King level to fly inside the City of Vance, even if it were allowed, he didn’t dare to use his vampire wings carelessly in the city.

’My powers increased so much in just a single night. I really want to let loose for a moment and see my current limits.’

William was feeling really excited because of the sudden increase in his strength.

Although his Realm was still at the peak of the Star Warrior level, his strength had undergone a tremendous transformation after assimilating the Origin Grade Vampire Bloodline.

Not to mention anything else, just the amount of Aether Energy he possessed had increased by three times after obtaining this bloodline.

William’s Aether Energy reserves were already far superior to those of people at the same level because of his cultivation of the Time Star Codex.

Now, with this increase, his Aether Energy reserves were completely worlds apart from those of other people.

William thought about what he needed to do today and frowned slightly.

’The most important thing is to meet Alicia’s brother.’

He closed his eyes as he recalled what Vivian had said to him.

’You don’t have to solve every single problem yourself.’

As her words echoed in his mind, he opened his eyes, and they gleamed with sharp light.

’Yeah, screw it. I have had enough of this puppet-like life. For today, I am just going to do what I want.’

Taking a carriage, William returned to the academy.

There was still about an hour left before class started, so there were very few students on the academy grounds.

Soon, he returned to the dormitory and stopped before his room.

His senses had also increased after assimilating the Vampire Bloodline, so even though the door was closed, he could still hear the sound of water splashing, indicating that Liam was taking a bath.

”It’s good that he is already awake...” He muttered and opened the door using the key he had.

Entering inside, he saw that the window was closed, so he opened it to let the cool morning breeze flow inside the room.

Just then, Liam also emerged from the bathroom, humming a strange tune.

”Hmmm?” Seeing William, a look of surprise appeared on his face. But soon after, it was replaced by a sneer.

”Isn’t it the strongest newcomer of this year? So you finally decided to come back...” He spoke in a voice filled with jealousy. ”You must have enjoyed your time with that senior last night?”

William’s mouth twitched slightly at Liam’s words, but he did not bother to explain and simply nodded.

”Yes, I had a very enjoyable night. At least, it was far better than someone’s who was just sitting in his dark room alone.”

Liam was left speechless by William’s retort and didn’t know what to say.

Just then, he noticed that William looked taller than normal.

A strange thought suddenly appeared in his mind, and his expression turned weird.

”Ugh... Buddy, did that senior feed you the wrong pill and mistakenly increase the size of the wrong area?”

At first, William was confused by Liam’s words. But soon, he realized what he was trying to say, and his forehead throbbed with anger.

”You bastard...”

He suddenly disappeared, and before Liam could react, his head was already locked under William’s arm.

Tap!

He tapped Liam’s head with his knuckles, making him scream in pain. Although he did not use all of his strength, William’s current physical strength was truly terrifying, and Liam felt as if his head were being struck by a stone.

”Brother! Brother! It was just a joke. Please don’t hit me!” He shouted in pain, covering his arm-locked head with both of his hands.

William snorted and let him go, flexing his muscles.

”Be careful with what you say in the future, or you might end up with some broken bones.”

Feeling William’s cold gaze, Liam shivered and nodded like a chick, looking very obedient.

”My height increased because I had a breakthrough last night,” William finally explained and rolled his eyes. ”It’s not because I took a wrong damn pill.”

Liam felt awkward under William’s gaze, but he suddenly realized what William had just said.

”A breakthrough?” A look of shock appeared on his face. ”You were already at the peak of the Star Warrior level? Does it mean you have broken through to the Star Commander level?”

”No.” William shook his head. ”It’s a breakthrough in my cultivation technique. It enhances physical strength. Because of the sudden increase in my physical strength, my height increased a little.”

”So that’s how it is.” A look of understanding flashed in Liam’s eyes, and he nodded.

Seeing Liam had finally stopped thinking about useless things, William finally got to the real matter.

”There is something I need you to do today.”
