RE: LORD OF TIME

William returned to his home and took a long bath to calm his slightly unsettled mind.

Although he had successfully killed Lucas and even escaped safely from Richard, he knew that the situation earlier had been extremely dangerous.

If things hadn’t gone according to plan, he would have definitely been captured by Richard.

Once he fell into Richard’s hands, not to mention himself, even his family would have been in grave danger.

He did not take into account that Vivian had been present there and would have helped him if something had gone wrong because he knew she wouldn’t always be there to solve his problems.

He had made a mistake tonight by assuming that no one would interfere while he killed Lucas.

Instead of relying on the possibility that nothing would go wrong, he should have prepared for the worst.

If he had taken Richard and the other possible variables into account beforehand, he wouldn’t have placed himself in such grave danger earlier.

’Although I tried to keep myself in check, it seems I have still become a little arrogant after gaining a bit of power...’ William thought as he let the water flow over his body.

’Just because I have memories of the future and an extremely strong starting point doesn’t mean everything will always go according to my plan. I need to think more carefully before acting in the future.’

He wiped the water from his face, and as he looked at his blurry reflection in the bucket of water, he couldn’t help but shiver slightly.

Killing a noble was a major crime, and the punishment wouldn’t have fallen on him alone. His entire family would have suffered because of it as well.

Just thinking about the fact that his arrogance earlier had almost gotten his family killed made him feel suffocated.

”More... I need to become even stronger to make sure they can live safely.”

After coming out of the bathroom, William put on his clothes and left his room, heading toward the backyard.

He actually felt a little tired after using the Seven Steps of the Supreme, as the skill placed a tremendous burden on his body.

Moreover, instantly recovering all of his Aether Energy using Blood Moon’s Energy Pool skill had also put a heavy burden on his Aether Core.

Originally, he had planned to rest after returning home.

However, his earlier thoughts had made him even more desperate to increase his strength.

He had already cultivated the Time Star Codex during the afternoon and needed to give his Aether Core some time to recover before cultivating it again.

Fortunately, there was still another technique he had obtained earlier that he could cultivate.

Taking out the Gale Tiger Body Forging Technique, he sat down and carefully looked through its contents.

The Gale Tiger Body Forging Technique was a technique used to cultivate one’s physical body.

These kinds of techniques were extremely popular in the Klaus Empire, the empire ruled by monsters.

The Gale Tiger Body Forging Technique couldn’t be considered particularly powerful among body-forging techniques, but considering how rare such techniques were in the Silver Wing Kingdom, it was still an extremely precious treasure.

Moreover, this body-forging technique primarily enhanced a person’s flexibility and agility, followed by strength and defense.

The Benlot Family’s main cultivation technique was the Azure Wind Canon.

This cultivation technique also primarily focused on increasing agility and flexibility.

The Gale Tiger Body Forging Technique and the Azure Wind Canon complemented each other extremely well.

If someone cultivated both techniques at the same time, they would truly become like the flowing wind, with agility and flexibility far surpassing that of ordinary people.

William had no intention of cultivating the Azure Wind Canon, but that wouldn’t affect him.

The agility and flexibility boosts provided by the Time Star Codex were already comparable to those of the Azure Wind Canon because, when he created the Supreme Star Scripture in the original timeline, he had integrated several techniques related to agility and flexibility into it.

The contents of the Gale Tiger Body Forging Technique weren’t difficult to understand.

It mainly involved using the blood essence of a wind-attributed monster to nourish one’s own body.

Naturally, the best blood essence for cultivating this technique was that of a Gale Tiger.

However, if one couldn’t obtain it, they could also use the blood essence of other monsters that naturally possessed the power of wind.

One simply had to consume the blood essence and guide it according to the Gale Tiger Body Forging Technique, refining it inside the body with Aether Energy to strengthen the physical body.

With the help of True Wisdom, William memorized the entire technique within just a few minutes and completely understood it.

There were three stages to the Gale Tiger Body Forging Technique.

Upon reaching the third stage, one’s physical body alone would become as strong as that of a Star Lord, even without utilizing Aether Energy or any techniques.

Taking out the bottle of Gale Tiger blood essence, William opened it and gulped it down in one go.

Instantly, the raw power of the blood essence erupted inside his body, as if it wanted to ravage his internal organs.

Without wasting a moment, William began circulating the Gale Tiger Body Forging Technique, guiding the violent energy of the blood essence through his body according to the method described in the technique.

At the same time, wisps of Aether Energy flowed out from his Aether Core, refining the violent energy of the blood essence and gradually merging it with his body.

The process of the blood essence fusing with his body felt like countless needles piercing his bones, making him feel both intense pain and unbearable itchiness at the same time.

He wanted to scratch his entire body, but the itching sensation originated from deep within his body, making it completely useless even if he scratched his skin until it bled.

”Rather than painful, I would say this is more like torture...” William gritted his teeth, but he didn’t stop circulating the Gale Tiger Body Forging Technique.

At the same time, while William was cultivating the Gale Tiger Body Forging Technique to increase his strength before heading to the academy, Baron Xing’s entire manor had fallen into utter chaos because of the news Richard had brought back.
