Corpse Burier: I Can Nourish Corpse

But just as Wen Jiu was about to put away the Sound Transmission Talisman, Feng Jue’s voice came again from the other end.

”Fellow Daoist Han, I have another small favor to ask. After it is done, Fellow Daoist Shan and I are willing to offer a Tier One Supreme-grade Yin Evil Spirit Medicine as a token of thanks.”

Wen Jiu did not immediately refuse but neither did he agree, ”Fellow Daoist, speak of the matter first, it’s not too late to discuss the reward afterwards.”

If it’s troublesome.

Even a Tier Two Yin Evil Spirit Medicine he wouldn’t accept.

Feng Jue transmitted, ”Two months hence, I need Fellow Daoist to enter the Celestial Extinction Yin Vein with me in advance. This matter is not only the idea of Fellow Daoist Shan but also my own. Since we’ve come this far, I’m ready to see it through!”

”If it involves a death match with Foundation Establishment cultivators from Divine Extinction Thousand Peaks, don’t count me in,” Wen Jiu spoke quickly.

”Fellow Daoist need not worry, we seek the Golden Core opportunity, the path of cultivation, naturally we won’t engage in a death match with people from Divine Extinction Thousand Peaks.” Feng Jue added, ”But to ensure success, I plan to set up a Tier Two High-Grade Yin Array within the Celestial Extinction Yin Vein, called the Soul-devouring Lifeless Array.

This array is purchased jointly by Fellow Daoist Shan and I, when formed it can consume ten thousand souls, even a late-stage Foundation Establishment cultivator may find it hard to escape, and the more demon souls and human souls it absorbs, the stronger the Soul-devouring Lifeless Array becomes.

In late stages, it can even kill!”

Upon hearing this, even separated by a great distance, Wen Jiu could still feel Feng Jue’s intense killing intent.

”You wouldn’t want to use this array to kill the Foundation Establishment cultivators of Divine Extinction Thousand Peaks, would you?”

Feng Jue replied, ”All you need do, Fellow Daoist, is help me set up the array in advance. Afterwards, when Fellow Daoist Shan, Divine Extinction Thousand Peaks, and cultivators from the Two Sects and Six Peaks arrive, during the clearing of demons within the Celestial Extinction Yin Vein, every demon killed can continuously boost the demon souls of the Soul-devouring Lifeless Array.

By the time the Celestial Extinction Ruins open, the Soul-devouring Lifeless Array will surely and silently reach its peak state! After gaining the opportunity at the Celestial Extinction Ruins, we can use this array to eliminate all cultivators from the Two Sects and Five Peaks and Divine Extinction Thousand Peaks.

As for Deadman Peak, I can give Fellow Daoist some Array Orders, those who hold the Array Orders can leave the Soul-devouring Lifeless Array unharmed.”

Upon hearing Feng Jue’s mad plan, Wen Jiu’s mind had only one thought—Feng Jue was now truly aiming to be an Evil Cultivator.

However, he believed Feng Jue must have assurance to do this, after all, as Feng Jue mentioned, he is seeking the Golden Core Path.

Precisely because Feng Jue had assurance, Wen Jiu hesitated somewhat, for if he helped in this he would be completely aligned with the Evil Cultivators. Once he took this step, even if just as a disguise, he could never turn back.

But truth be told, the souls of Foundation Establishment cultivators from Divine Extinction Thousand Peaks were really quite tempting.

”A Tier One Supreme-grade Yin Evil Spirit Medicine isn’t enough.” Wen Jiu hesitated for a moment before not rejecting Feng Jue’s request.

Since he has already chosen the Heterodox Dao path.

He is destined to walk this path to the end.

Anyway, he has decided to discard this Han Li disguise after the Celestial Extinction Ruins, so helping Feng Jue with Evil Cultivators this once doesn’t matter. The soul memories of Foundation Establishment cultivators are truly appealing.

As a Corpse Nurturer, the bodies of Foundation Establishment cultivators.

Are equally appealing.

”Moreover, people from Divine Extinction Thousand Peaks performed the Foundation Breaking Method on the Great Elder, an act of hindering the path, blocking the path of one who has been good to me is the same as blocking my path!” Wen Jiu thought to himself as a justification.

Thus.

He was not being an Evil Cultivator.

This was revenge!

”What does Fellow Daoist want?” Feng Jue was unsurprised, instead rather pleased after getting Wen Jiu’s response.

With Han Li’s Escape Technique, helping to set up the Soul-devouring Lifeless Array couldn’t be more suitable.

If it were anyone else.

It would only introduce complications.

Wen Jiu immediately spoke, ”A Tier Two Lower Grade Yin Evil Spirit Medicine.”

”Deal!”

Feng Jue readily agreed.

Wen Jiu was stunned.

Dang.

Did I ask for too little?

If you’re so rich, why not say so earlier!

”But, the payment must be in advance.” Wen Jiu said helplessly.

Feng Jue replied, ”I trust Fellow Daoist’s integrity, in one month, I will deliver the Tier Two Yin Evil Spirit Medicine to the Prohibition of Living People.”

”I’ll await Fellow Daoist.”

Wen Jiu responded.

...

In the following days, Wen Jiu continued keeping on with his cultivation of Fate Techniques at the Prohibition of Living People, while also grinding Talisman Master experience.

Life remained calm.

The Three Evil Flying Corpses meanwhile harvested demons and demon beasts between various Lands of Death and Forbidden Lands, within less than a month sweeping clean all demons everywhere. Even the better-off Tier One Middle-grade demon beasts and demons were not spared by Wen Jiu.

However.

No matter how good a Tier One Middle-grade demon or beast they were, the Corpse Blood they produced for the Blood Demon Flying Corpse was minimal, twenty pounds, even thirty pounds of Corpse Blood only provided a tiny bit of experience.

Fortunately, the number of such demons was considerable, totaling around six thousand, thus providing over six thousand points of experience for the Blood Demon Flying Corpse.

Not much.

Yet still significant.

Adding to that the forty odd Tier One Superior demons and demon beasts, where three pounds of Corpse Blood could yield a point of experience, the Blood Demon Flying Corpse acquired nearly eight hundred points of experience, allowing it to reach the Upper Flying Corpse Realm.

However, there’s still quite a distance to the Realm of Perfection, and if he were to frantically harvest demons outside Deadman Peak, it would surely attract the attention of Divine Extinction Thousand Peaks, given the imminent opening of the Celestial Extinction Ruins, Wen Jiu also wished to avoid attracting such trouble.

So after much consideration, Wen Jiu ordered the Three Evil Flying Corpses to fly to the Far North, to start harvesting demons there.

By then, it will surely cause Foundation Establishment cultivators to notice, but as for matters in the Far North, no one would relate it to the Han Li disguise, considering this Han Li disguise is only at Qi Cultivation Perfection.
