The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

The message hovering before Kaden clearly shows he had just unlocked another part of the Star Monarch Bloodline he never knew existed in the first place...

”This is unreal,” Kaden muttered, his expression showing real shock.

He really is in great shock right now, and that is perfectly normal, considering he had just unlocked a power that, if he uses it well, would allow him to leave the Elemental Garden with an army the Primus Universe isn’t prepared for.

In a nutshell, he had awakened an aspect that would allow him to turn just about any human, beast or monster into an Elemental.

But that is just the basic effect of the new aspect.

It goes much deeper, and it is more powerful than that.

Aside from having the ability to make just about anyone an Elemental, he can also awaken their Elemental Dao and manifest it to 10%.

This 10% is the lowest he can awaken and manifest.

Within the aspect is an effect that will allow him to go higher than that.

But for that to happen, the trust the Elementals have in him would be taken into consideration. Meaning, if the Elemental trusts him wholeheartedly, he can go higher than the 10%.

It doesn’t show just how far he can go, but he can tell he can raise it to his level, meaning he can raise the Dao manifestation of his triplet wives to 25%.

And if one day he reaches 100%, he can do the same for them, for they trust him completely.

”This is unreal,” Kaden said again, a smile playing on his lips now.

”Congratulations, master. I myself never saw this coming, but now that we are here, you might as well use the chance to turn King Xzeth into someone far more dreadful. I can sense that something is missing, preventing him from awakening the true form of his Dao,” Icon said to Kaden, who turned and looked at King Xzeth, who is still in the process of awakening his Dao.

”He indeed seems to be struggling.” Kaden saw the sweat on his forehead and knew he had to step in, and so he did.

He tapped into his new aspect and produced a single rune.

The moment the rune appeared, King Xzeth opened his eyes and looked directly at it.

”What is that?” he asked, still looking at the rune.

”It is called a Star Elemental Rune. It contains the power to help you fully awaken your Dao. However, it comes at a price, one that I need your consent first before I use it on you.”

”I am listening.”

Kaden sighed and spoke, ”By accepting this rune, you are accepting to become a member of my Elemental Legion. Now, while it may sound like I will become your commander, know that it is just a title; if you don’t want to be commanded, I wouldn’t.

Just know that while I am here, I intend to form an Elemental Legion, and when leaving, I will leave with them. Whether you are willing to march under the Paragon flag will depend entirely on you.”

Kaden expected King Xzeth to make a big deal of what he had said. However, after hearing the price, he shrugged and said, ”I have already accepted your blood; there is no reason to reject this.”

Kaden narrowed his eyes, then a smile appeared on his face. ”In that case, you will be the first member of my Elemental Legion.”

He let go of the rune, which flew and merged with King Xzeth’s forehead. The moment the rune merged with his forehead, messages started appearing before him.

At the same time, the clock behind King Xzeth changed from green to golden and then back to green. However, the minute and hour hands remained golden.

Just as the color changed, a large silhouette of King Xzeth materialized behind him and grabbed the clock. Then, visibly, a large chain latched onto the clock, and he hung it around his neck.

BOOOM

A wave of energy exploded from his body, causing time to slow down for a moment, then speed up so fast that several years passed in the blink of an eye.

Kaden, who was reading the messages, felt as if he had been pulled through a chrono portal, leaving hundreds of years behind in mere seconds.

When the effect faded, he saw that his strength had risen by at least 20%, which, for someone like Kaden, was a huge leap. Naturally, he smiled and looked at the messages again.

[You have acquired the first member of your Elemental Legion.]

[Name: King Xzeth. Trust Level: 80%. Dao: Chrono-Elemental Eternal Dao (15%). Estimated Dao Manifestation: 20%]

[You can upgrade the bloodline of King Xzeth from the Celestial Stage to the Primordial Stage]

[You have received an Elemental Star Mark]

Kaden extended his hand, and a rune-like key appeared. Kaden knew what had to be done, so he pressed it against his forehead, and it dissolved into his body.

[You have absorbed Elemental Star Mark]

[Your Elemental Dao grows stronger]

[Your elemental affinity grows stronger.]

Kaden smiled and turned toward King Xzeth, who had a dumbfounded expression on his face, staring at his own Dao manifestation. Clearly, he never expected there to be such a powerful Dao hidden within him.

Already, he had awakened the Four Elemental Dao thanks to his elemental affinity for the four elements. Now, however, he seems to have awakened a time-related Dao, which has merged with the four Elemental Daos he had initially awakened.

”How is this even possible?” he muttered, the look of shock on his face deepening.

”Everyone has a limit placed on them. This limit puts them at a certain stage of power that, unless they are really determined, they cannot surpass.

However, with my blood, that limit will be taken away, allowing them to move much higher.” Kaden walked up to King Xzeth and placed his hand on his shoulder.

”You have always had this power hidden within you. It was just that you couldn’t break through your own limits, just as Pickle Berry couldn’t break hers back then, leading everyone to believe she was elementless.

So be proud of yourself, for everything you are feeling now has always been yours. I merely gave you a slight push.”
