Global Lords: My Species Can Mutate

Chapter 163: Chapter 162: Undead Scourge

On the way back, Lin You carefully counted his gains.

This time, he acquired a total of one hundred and fifty thousand Magic Energy and nearly four thousand Honor Points from exterminating the Demons, which was a massive haul.

Even Cyan Rattan’s experience points increased to more than fifteen hundred, faster than he had imagined.

Just wondering.

What kind of expression would those people have upon seeing the canyon already cleared out? Probably wish they could tear him to pieces!

[Congratulations, the mission “Enemy Base” is completed, please proceed to the mission hall to deliver your task.]

While thinking, a prompt suddenly echoed in his mind.

“Completed so soon?”

Lin You paused slightly.

Since the task completion prompt appeared.

It meant the Empire had confirmed the passage at the bottom of Black Water Lake as the entry point infiltrated by the Primordial Evil Realm.

Luckily.

He hadn’t arrogantly ventured to explore that passage.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t be certain of the dangers he might face.

If things went wrong, his life might even be at stake.

Next, the Empire would have to worry about it, after all, he’s just a little Tier Six Lord.

However, what he hadn’t anticipated was.

Just then, several successive prompts echoed in his mind again.

[Attention all Lords, the Black Water Lake area has been invaded by the Primordial Evil Realm, the Empire has issued an emergency task, please proceed swiftly to annihilate the enemy.]

[During the emergency task period, each enemy killed will earn you an extra 1000 Honor Points, with no upper limit.]

[Attention all Lords…]

The sudden prompts rang three times consecutively.

As long as they were near Black Water Lake or stationed at outposts, all the Lords received the messages, triggering widespread commotion.

“What the hell! A thousand points each? Did I hear that right?”

“Black Water Lake? Isn’t that just several kilometers away from the outpost?”

“My God, the Primordial Evil Realm’s base is so close!”

“No wonder we’ve never found it before; it’s right there! Who’s so skilled to have discovered it first?”

“Who cares, that’s a thousand points per head! Just get there first!”

In an instant, all the Lords staying at the outpost or hunting Demons nearby began converging toward Black Water Lake.

And it goes without saying for Lin You.

He was already close to Black Water Lake.

Without hesitation, he commanded the Demon King Dragon to change direction and fly toward it.

When he reached near Black Water Lake, he saw indeed a fierce battle taking place over the surging lake between the Soldier Commander leading several Tier Seven Lords and another group of high-ranking Lords.

The overwhelming momentum shook the entire sky with tumultuous clouds and continuous explosions.

Even in the lake, countless undead skeletons crawled out, forming a terrifying sea of Undead at the shore.

“What’s happening? How are there so many skeletons!?”

The other arriving Lords exclaimed in shock.

In Black Water Lake, there were several large spatial rifts.

Numerous skeletons and Lords from the Primordial Evil Realm swarmed out, frenziedly attacking the Imperial Soldiers and arriving Lords.

The ground was littered with corpses, nearly staining the lakeside red, spreading outward rapidly.

Mass space teleportation!

Lin You’s pupils narrowed suddenly.

He never imagined that the Primordial Evil Realm would go to such great lengths for invading the Primordial Continent!

Seeing more and more Lords emerging from the rifts, he dared not stay aloft long and immediately commanded the Demon King Dragon to land.

Meanwhile.

Lords nearby conducting tasks also arrived one after another, bringing their respective species to join the battle, blocking the invasion of the Primordial Evil Realm Lords and the Undead Army at the lakeshore.

“Hurry, hurry, hurry! We must not let anyone from the Primordial Evil Realm break through!”

“To dare invade so close to the Main City, the Primordial Evil Realm is too arrogant!”

“Charge! Kill them all!”

Shouts and roars echoed continuously.

More and more Lords rushed to Black Water Lake after hearing the news, clashing fiercely with the Primordial Evil Realm army.

Lin You, amidst the crowd, naturally did not dare slack off, summoning all the plants to help fend off the Undead attack.

But gradually, Lin You noticed something amiss.

These Undead were all Tier Seven, yet killing them yielded no rewards.

Could it be that these Undead were all summoned species!?

Lin You was completely stunned.

To summon such a vast Undead Army at once, no Tier Seven or Eight Lord could accomplish it unless…

“Roar!!”

As if responding to his speculation.

From behind one of the spatial rifts suddenly came an earth-shaking roar.

Several enormous Undead Bone Dragons surged out of the rift, shaking the entire space violently.

And on the back of one Bone Dragon, an elder wearing a black robe stood proudly, observing everything below indifferently.

The Soldier Commander originally battling a Tier Eight Lord in the air turned pale immediately.

“Tier Nine Lord!”

Indeed!

The elder appearing at the rift was unmistakably a Tier Nine Undead Type Lord!

Aside from dozens of Tier Nine Bone Dragons beside that Lord, there were more Tier Nine Undead Grandmasters wielding Magic Staffs.

Each time they raised their Magic Staff, large batches of Tier Seven skeletons appeared.

The low-tier Primordial Evil Realm Lords mixed among the Undead Army, frenziedly attacking the hastily arriving Lords.

Under the assault of both forces, the side of the Primordial Realm soon showed signs of defeat, forced to retreat.

Even the Soldier Commander in the air was beaten into retreat, quickly knocked to the ground by a Bone Dragon, staining the sky with blood, creating an internal panic among everyone.

“The Celestial Vault, how dare you act recklessly!”

Suddenly, a deafening shout exploded in the distance.

From the Main City, a Tier Nine Lord finally arrived after receiving the message, along with an overwhelming number of Fire Simurgh Birds and several Tier Seven and Eight Lords, speeding toward the battlefield.

Seeing this, the Undead Lord immediately abandoned pursuing the Soldier Commander, recalling all Undead Bone Dragons to his side and glanced at several nearby Lords.

“You all leave here first, I’ll hold off this Tier Nine, make sure to send that thing away, absolutely no mistakes allowed.”

“Yes!”

Those Lords responded, quickly descending to the ground.

Seizing the moment when no one noticed, they concealed their breath and swiftly vanished into the forest.

As for the remaining Undead Lord, he advanced to face the flock of approaching Fire Simurgh Birds, unfolding a fierce battle in the sky.

With Tier Nine Lords joining and more Lords arriving.

The lakeshore battle finally stabilized gradually, halting the Undead Army’s advance.

Among the crowd, Lin You seized the opportunity, spotting a nearby Primordial Evil Realm Lord.

With a clear mind connection, the Enchanting Beldam beside him unleashed Banshee’s Kiss, instantly charming that Lord, separating him from his species group and drawing him out.

“Now’s the time!”

Lin You shouted, dense vines suddenly bolting forth, threading through gaps to bind the opponent’s feet, yanking forcefully.

The Lord awoke, wanting to struggle, only to find his body increasingly entangled by vines.

Before even a scream could escape, his blood was drained by the vines, reduced to a dried corpse.

[Congratulations, you’ve successfully slain an Alternate Plane Tier Six Lord, acquiring 80,000 Magic Energy, 1010 Honor Points, and Tier Six Territory Essence x1]

“Well done!”

Lin You was very satisfied with the plants’ performance and then continued to fend off the surrounding attacks while searching for the next target.

In just seven or eight minutes, three Tier Six Lords had fallen to his stealth attacks, contributing over three thousand points to his tally.
