National Awakening: My Left Eye Copies My Right Eye and Sublimates

78: On the importance of points!“For a four-person dormitory, it’s 50,000 per person per month.”

“For a two-person dormitory, it’s 100,000 per person per month.”

“As for a single dormitory, not only does it cost 200,000, but it also requires 500 Points per month to reside in.”

Points are the common currency in the university, with much stronger purchasing power than money.

At Shengjing University, most things can be traded.

And for these traded items, without exception, Points are the first choice.

Under the guidance of the instructor, Xia Qi had already understood the importance of Points.

No wonder General Hu had specifically reminded him not to sell his Points, as it was simply not worth it.

“Student Xia, I know you are the National Champion, so you should have quite a few Points.”

“However, I still advise you to save Points whenever possible, as there will be too many places where Points are needed later on, and they will simply not be enough.”

Xia Qi appreciated the instructor’s good intentions, but after thinking about it, he still didn’t plan to live with others.

“I’ll choose the single dormitory.”

The instructor looked at Xia Qi, “Are you sure?”

Xia Qi nodded.

The instructor could only sigh, “Alas, then I won’t say more. Once you realize how difficult Points are to earn in a few days, you’ll regret it.”

The instructor had seen such examples many times before.

He simply stopped talking and, after a registration, led Xia Qi into the dormitory area.

“This is Villa No. 808. The number is quite auspicious. What do you think?”

After walking a distance, the instructor pointed to the middle one of a row of small villas not far away and said.

Xia Qi looked at it; the environment and all aspects were already very good.

“This one, thank you, instructor.”

“Alright, then put your finger on the magnetic card and after your fingerprint is covered, this card will be your dormitory key from now on. Don’t lose it; replacing one is very troublesome.”

The instructor held a card and first did a fingerprint verification for Xia Qi.

Xia Qi also took out his Points card and cash, paying the first month’s rent on the spot.

As the 500 Points and 200,000 arrived, the instructor didn’t say much. He had already been delayed here for some time and still needed to return to the registration department to continue registering new students.

After some polite thanks, Xia Qi walked into his single dormitory.

Though called a dormitory, it was actually a small villa.

It covered an area of about 200 square meters, was in a classical style, and had all sorts of supporting facilities.

Xia Qi experienced all the functional rooms one by one, including the training room, entertainment room, and testing room.

He had to admit, besides the 500 Points, the 200,000 spent was truly worth it.

Many items in this dormitory were inscribed with runes by Formation Masters to operate. If he were to pay for the design of such value himself, it would probably cost over 100 million.

From this perspective, the dormitory fees at Shengjing University were not only not expensive but, on the contrary, very cheap.

After familiarizing himself with the dormitory, by the time Xia Qi walked out of the dormitory area, it was almost noon.

At this time, theoretically, new student registration should have ended.

Opening his phone, both Yun Qingyue and Yu Qiu had sent messages.

The content was surprisingly consistent: inviting Xia Qi to eat in the cafeteria together.

As for the question of whom to eat with, Xia Qi was always too lazy to consider it.

He simply created a group chat for the three of them and sent a message, “Let’s eat together.”

The two girls both sent face-palm emojis, not expecting that both of them had invited Xia Qi to eat at the same time.

It was midday, prime time for lunch.

The cafeteria was not far from the dormitory area, and university students dining there had already formed long queues.

“Here, here, Xia Qi.”

As soon as he walked to the cafeteria entrance, Xia Qi heard a familiar voice.

Yun Qingyue was waving her hand, with the cool-faced Yu Qiu standing beside her.

Yun Qingyue was wearing a pure white dress today. Her already campus-belle-level beauty, coupled with her eye-catching attire, instantly drew a lot of attention.

“Wow, what a cute girl. Is she a new student this year?”

“That beauty, that figure, I instantly feel a sense of infatuation.”

“Did you see the girl next to her? Although she’s very cool, her temperament and appearance are excellent.”

“I know those two girls you’re talking about; they are the first and second on this year’s new student goddess list.”

Everyone loves beauty, and the looks of Yun Qingyue and Yu Qiu were considered outstanding among many girls.

On the spot, many boys wanted to go up and strike up a conversation.

However, after seeing Xia Qi walking with the two girls and comparing their looks, many felt a sense of self-abasement.

Damn, this guy is too handsome.

With a face and temperament comparable to Daniel Wu, no wonder he could come to eat with two beauties.

Xia Qi actually didn’t want to be so flashy, but Yun Qingyue was too enthusiastic, so he didn’t feel right saying anything.

Fortunately, no incidents occurred here where senior students were overcome by lust and came to cause trouble.

Students who can enter Shengjing University are all of top-tier Heart-Nature and standards in all aspects; everyone is very well-mannered.

The three queued up and entered the cafeteria. Looking at the dazzling array of delicacies, they were all surprised by the rich variety of food here.

No wonder it was said that while you might not know other places in Shengjing University, you must remember the cafeteria.

Whether it was home-style stir-fries or Vicious Beast meals, everything was available here.

The difference was that dishes involving Vicious Beast ingredients required Points for payment and did not accept cash.

After a quick look around, Xia Qi directly ordered an Elementary Vicious Beast set meal for the three of them.

Five Points per person; he had the most Points, so he treated the two girls.

After a hearty meal, all three were stuffed.

Yun Qingyue and Yu Qiu both came from extraordinary family backgrounds, and they were now conquered by the deliciousness of the cafeteria.

“So full, this is even better than what my family’s chef makes.”

Yun Qingyue’s face was slightly red. Unbeknownst to her, she had emptied her entire plate.

Such an appetite was normally impossible for a girl.

Yu Qiu was slightly better; she had a very large amount of exercise daily, so her appetite was also larger than that of an average girl.

After lunch, the three walked along the road, sharing the information they had each gathered.

“At Shengjing University, there’s a university exchange.”

“The Points we are awarded after exams can be traded at the exchange.”

“So, Points must be used where they matter most.”

Yu Qiu analyzed as she walked.

On this point, the three of them had the same idea.

From the moment they entered the main gate of Shengjing, the information conveyed by various things around them was very clear.

Points are very important here!

Because Xia Qi was the National Champion, he was awarded the most Points, 100,000 Points.

As for Yun Qingyue and Yu Qiu, one was second in the province and the other third.

They only received two to three thousand Points each.
