Super Strong Little Divine Farmer

Chapter 2143: Chapter 2144: Poisoned

Lin Chen spent the night cultivating in silence, and just before dawn, he finally managed to open the extra meridian point at his brow. He exhaled a sigh of relief and stood up from the ground.

Lin Chen touched the center of his brow. It seemed no different from usual, but he felt as if something had changed there.

He infused some Spiritual Energy into that spot, and as the energy penetrated, it was as if a Heavenly Eye opened at his brow, allowing him to see traces of Spiritual Energy flowing around him.

At the same time, the free-floating Spiritual Energy in the air seemed to be drawn towards him, moving slowly into his body.

Strands of Spiritual Energy flowed through his brow into his body, eventually reaching his Dantian.

Although the speed was slow, it was better than nothing, Lin Chen thought silently.

”Brother Lin, Brother Lin, something’s wrong!”

Suddenly, an urgent call came from outside the door. The voice was clear and pleasant, but it carried immense urgency and worry.

Lin Chen walked out the door, only to see Lin Wan’er hurrying towards him.

”What’s happened?” Seeing Lin Wan’er sweating and tense, Lin Chen’s heart sank.

”It’s... it’s... Brother Sun is in trouble.”

Lin Wan’er said breathlessly, her speech unclear, and there was a hint of fear in her eyes.

”Go!”

Lin Chen didn’t have time to ask more questions and rushed anxiously towards Sun Tianming’s residence.

In the Green Ripple Sect, Lin Chen had few friends besides Sun Tianming, which made him especially concerned about Sun Tianming’s safety.

Upon reaching Sun Tianming’s place, Lin Chen saw a figure lying on the cold ground, completely black.

It was indeed Sun Tianming.

”What happened!” Lin Chen shouted.

”When I came to call Brother Sun this morning, he was like this. I don’t know what happened,” Lin Wan’er said, startled.

Lin Chen glanced at the messy surroundings and roughly guessed that Sun Tianming might have been attacked while eating by a wicked person.

He approached Sun Tianming, helped him up, and noticed his complexion had lost its blush, his face was entirely black, especially at the corners of his lips, which were a purplish black, with signs of festering elsewhere on his body.

After a night’s time, the wounds emitted a foul smell, attracting many maggots.

”Watch over him; I’ll find someone to help.”

Lin Chen’s eyes sharpened; Sun Tianming’s situation couldn’t afford delay. He threw the remark and ran outside.

The current situation was beyond his understanding; he wasn’t a healer, and even if he were, his abilities were limited on this continent.

Therefore, his only option now was to seek help from Elder Chen Lin Chen.

...

Before a high peak, Lin Chen climbed up the green vines between the cliffs with ease.

In just a few breaths, Lin Chen reached the top.

There was a simple straw hut set at the center of the peak, with peculiar flowers blooming on either side.

”Elder, Lin Chen requests an audience!” Lin Chen called loudly.

”What’s the rush so early in the morning?” Chen Lin replied sluggishly, tidying his clothes as he walked out of the straw hut.

Lin Chen didn’t care about formalities; he rushed forward, grabbed Chen Lin’s wrist, and said urgently, ”Sun Tianming seems to be in trouble; please come see him, Elder.”

Seeing Lin Chen’s anxious demeanor, Chen Lin suppressed his anger and said, ”Since the little friend asks, this old man will make a trip!”

With that, Chen Lin swiftly followed Lin Chen towards Sun Tianming’s location.

Once they arrived, Chen Lin realized the severity of the situation with Sun Tianming.

”Ah...”

Screams erupted from Sun Tianming, whose hands gripped his neck, as if it were the source of his agony. He kept slapping that spot, making his neck look somewhat twisted.

”You guys are finally here; he’s been like this since earlier,” Lin Wan’er urged, then looked apologetically down and said, ”I couldn’t stop him.”

The condition of the room was chaotic because of Sun Tianming’s frantic behavior; he resembled a walking corpse, his purple-black face frightening to behold.

Caught by surprise, Chen Lin’s earlier fatigue was swept away by the scene. He quickly moved, prying Sun Tianming’s hands away, fearing he might harm himself further.

”Help me hold his legs!”

After restraining him, Chen Lin called to Lin Chen and Lin Wan’er.

Under his urging, they hurriedly pinned Sun Tianming to the ground, immobilizing him.

With a stern look, Chen Lin gathered Spiritual Energy in his hand, then formed a sword gesture, lightly pointing at Sun Tianming’s neck.

About three inches down his neck, a silver light flickered, contrasting sharply with his darkened skin.

Seeing the anomaly, Chen Lin gasped.

But he quickly steadied himself, releasing a burst of Spiritual Energy from his fingers towards the silver needle.

The Spiritual Energy locked onto the silver needle precisely, but just when it was about to touch, the needle suddenly shifted downward, causing the energy to miss its target.

”Ah...”

The movement of the silver needle seemed extremely painful for Sun Tianming, his body thrashing about violently, nearly breaking free from Lin Chen and Lin Wan’er’s grip.

”Not good!”

Chen Lin reacted quickly, retracting the energy and patting various parts of Sun Tianming’s body, soothing him until he calmed down.

”This will only make him a bit more comfortable for now,” Chen Lin sighed, his eyes flickering. ”But this isn’t a permanent solution.”

”Then what can we do!” Lin Chen exclaimed. This was his first real friend since joining the Green Ripple Sect, and in such danger, he couldn’t ignore it.

”Don’t worry, he can still be saved.” Chen Lin’s eyes sparkled with both surprise and doubt. ”What puzzles me is why someone would go to such lengths. The sect’s rules forbid harming others severely, but this clearly aims to kill.”

”Look at his state! Where’s the time for such thoughts? Isn’t saving him the priority!” Lin Chen shouted, pointing at Sun Tianming.
