The Record of Hyoren Enjo’s Journey in Another World

Chapter 8

The Rules of This World

Date: Unknown (Eighth day of the Journey)

Hyoren gripped his new spear tightly and stepped to the cave entrance. The dual suns hung at their zenith.

”I spent all morning on this.”

He turned the spear over in his hands, testing the weight.

”So I guess today won’t be an exploring day.”

He stepped outside, the cool air brushing against his face. A thin smile crossed his lips.

”But I want to test this spear. Rabbits, prepare yourselves.”

He walked the perimeter around his cave, careful not to wander too far. The roar of the waterfall stayed in the background—a constant marker to guide him home.

It didn’t take long. A horned rabbit hunched near a patch of moss, nibbling at the glowing vegetation. Its back was turned. With soft footsteps on the forest floor, he approached quietly. The rabbit’s ears twitched. It turned then lunged.

He pivoted slightly to the side , then thrust his new spear forward. The horn tip punched through the rabbit’s neck and out the other side. No resistance.

”Good...” he withdrew the spear, examining the wound.

”This is good. No resistance, even when I hit the spine. The tip is truly sharp. And with the heat treatment, it’s stronger and sharper.”

He reached down to grab the rabbit by its horns.

”Today’s meal is secured...”

And then he felt it. The essence began to absorb into him, that familiar warmth spreading through his chest. But this time, something was different.

”What… What is this feeling?”

The warmth didn’t fade like it usually did. Instead, it intensified.

”I feel... warmth. The essence... it’s spreading through my body.”

The sensation built slowly. Heat flowed through his limbs, into his muscles, along his spine. It wasn’t unpleasant—almost like the ache after a good workout, but deeper.

”I feel...” he flexed his fingers.

”More power. My strength seems to have increased.”

He made a fist. The muscles in his forearm contracted tighter than before. Harder. He could feel the difference in his grip alone. He bent his knees and jumped.  His feet left the ground higher than expected.

”My speed and reflexes too… Faster.”

He could feel it—the way his body responded to his thoughts. The delay of his neuron were shortened.

”This is… Definitely a level up.”

He waited for something else. But there was nothing.

”In the end, there’s no notification of ding. No system announcement. No status screen suddenly appearing. Just the feeling…”

But he understood it. His knowledge of fantasy worlds filled in the gaps.

”I feel like I got stronger by... definitely less than ten percent.”

He tested his arm again, swinging it through the air.

”I can’t suddenly destroy rocks with my bare hands. But I can definitely feel the increase in muscle power and neuron reflex… Five percent, maybe? Give or take.”

It was almost imperceptible—but it was there.

”As expected. The essence acts like experience points. And when I reach some threshold, I level up.”

He needed to log this. Quantify it. Track his progress.

He bent down and grabbed the rabbit carcass by its horns, slinging it over his shoulder. The weight felt lighter than it should have—not dramatically so, but noticeably.

”I need to write and log this down.”

He made his way back to the cave, his new spear in one hand, the rabbit slung over his shoulder.

***

Back in the cave, Hyoren grabbed a fresh piece of leather and his charcoal. He settled cross-legged on the cave floor, the leather stretched across his lap.

”First day… I killed seven rabbits. That means... seven essence.”

He wrote the number down. Then he tried to remember his kill count.

”Second day, one.”

”Third day, ten. That’s when I killed nine rabbit in single day, and the creeping vines.”

He paused, counting on his fingers. Fourth day. Fifth day.

”Then today, another one.”

He tallied the numbers in his head. Wrote them down. Added them up.

”Twenty-four essence total… So from level one to level two… Twenty-four experience points.”

A slow smile spread across his face.

”The grinding is inefficient… I need eight days to level up. Recent games make grinding easy. Quick rewards. Instant gratification. But I always loved the old hardcore games.”

His eyes distant, remembering.

”The ones where a single level up took hours. Days, sometimes.”

He looked at the leather, at the numbers scrawled across its surface.

”I need to understand the grind. How many rabbits do I need to kill for the next level up?”

He created a new section on the leather. Wrote a title at the top, Experience Points Needed. Underneath, he began his log.

Level 2: 24 points.

Level 3:

He stared at the blank space.

”I’ll track my progress meticulously. Solve the puzzle of the grind.”

The numbers were more than just data. They were a path forward. A way to measure his growth. To predict what lay ahead. If he tracked the thresholds between levels, he could prepare for what came next.

He added more notes to the leather.

Horned Rabbit: 1 exp.

Mossback Squirrel: 1 exp.

Creeping Vines: 1 exp.

Red Pike: 2 exp.

The weakest creatures gave one exp. The red pike, which was faster, stronger, and harder to kill, gave two.

”Stronger creatures give more exp...” he nodded to himself.

”But they’re also more dangerous to hunt.”

He set the charcoal down and examined his work. The numbers and notes spread across the leather. He rolled up the leather and set it beside his map.

Outside, the dual suns had begun their descent. The forest was growing dark. But Hyoren felt something he hadn’t felt in days. Excitement.

***

Next day came.

Hyoren woke from his soldier’s sleep with excitement. His eyes opened to the familiar grey stone of the cave ceiling. But something was different. A energy thrummed through his body. Anticipation.

He rose and grabbed his charcoal. Approached the leather calendar he had made. Added another mark to the growing list of lines.

Ninth day now.

”Yesterday was a good day. I need to keep my momentum.”

He grabbed the leather map from its place and unrolled it on the floor. The cave in the center. The river winding north. The mushroom fields to the south. And there—at the southern edge of his map—the clearing with the magical lake.

”South is already mapped. Up to the magical lake.”

He looked at the blank spaces. North. East. West.

”North means following the river downstream… Downstream leads to civilization. Towns. People.”

He paused. The thought of other people stirred something in his chest. Hope. Fear. Longing. He pushed it down.

”No... I’m not prepared enough. I just reached level 2. I should aim to be strong enough to handle the flower and insect combo before I venture toward civilization.”

He rolled up the map.

”Time to head west. I want to restock my melopple.”

With a pouch of supplies over his shoulder—strips of smoked meat, a few brown cap mushrooms, and his ever-present water skin—he secured his knife to his belt. He picked up his newly made Horned-Rabbit Spear from its place by the wall.

Then he left his cave.

”Let’s see what I encounter on the west side.”

He pushed deeper into the forest, eyes scanning the forest while continue marking ironwood trees. Then after a while, a familiar shape appeared ahead. A cluster of small trees with spreading branches, heavy with round, blue-skinned fruits.

”Good… Another grove. Time to pick some up.”

He climbed carefully. Testing each branch before putting his weight on it. He plucked the apple-shaped fruits one by one. Dropping them into the pouch.

He took a bite from one. Savoring the watermelon-like sweetness. The juice ran down his chin.

He dropped down from the tree. Landed softly on the forest floor. Continued west.

The forest floor was deceptively peaceful. He stepped over a patch of undergrowth. And then suddenly—vines erupted from the ground.

”Oh damn!”

He twisted. Barely avoiding the first lashing tendril. It whipped past his face. Missing him by inches.

”I almost forgot these exist!”

The vines attacked again. Two vines whipped toward his legs. A third snaked through the grass. Trying to flank him.

He sidestepped the first attack. His new spear swung. The horn tip sliced through the second vine cleanly.

He spotted the core. He thrust his spear forward.

The horn tip punched through the core like it was nothing. The vines stiffened. Trembled. Then fell still.

”Man...”

He withdrew the spear. Breathing hard. His heart pounded against his ribs.

”Talk about being careless. I should look more carefully.”

He crouched beside the dead vine. Harvested the seed. He put it in his bag.

”Though... My resin stock is depleted after making this spear. So this is welcome.”

He stood and continued. But now his eyes moved constantly. Trying to distinguish normal bushes from the creeping vines.

The forest offered more encounters as he walked.

A horned rabbit burst from a thicket. He killed it with a single thrust. Another rabbit near a fallen log. Another thrust. Another kill. Two more by an overgrown patch. Quick. Efficient. Automatic.

He left the carcasses where they fell. He had enough of their leather and smoked meat.

The dual suns climbed toward their zenith. Sweat dripped down his back.

He emerged from the dense forest into a small clearing. Berry bushes dotted the space. Their branches heavy with red fruit.

”Red Berry bushes. This is definitely another mossback squirrel territory...”

He scanned the branches.

”Where are they...”

He spotted movement. A flash of brown fur.

”I can see two in the bush... And one more in that tree.”

The squirrels were distracted. Chittering. Eating berries. Stuffing their cheeks with red fruit.

”Should I...”

He weighed the options.

”Well, if I get outnumbered, I can just run. I don’t think they’ll chase too far.”

He crept closer. Keeping his footsteps light. The squirrel in the tree was closest. It hunched on a branch. Stuffing red berries into its mouth. Completely absorbed in its meal.

Hyoren raised his spear. One thrust.

The squirrel dropped from the branch. Dead before it hit the ground.

”They are easily distracted when eating, huh...”

Two more squirrels foraged among the berries. He killed them quickly. Three carcasses. Enough chicken-like meat for a few meals.

He reached for the berry bush. Intending to gather some red berries for variety.

Multiple squelching sounds erupted around him.

More squirrels than he could count. Dropping from branches. Bursting from bushes. Emerging from every direction. Their eyes fixed on him. Their claws extended.

”Damn it!”

He stumbled backward. His spear swept in a wide arc. Keeping them at bay.

”They didn’t care when their friends were getting killed, but the moment I try to pick their food, they go rabid??”

A squirrel leaped. He caught it with his spear. But another was already on his arm. Claws raked across his skin. Pain flared. Hot and sharp.

He grabbed the nearest squirrel carcass and ran.

The squirrels pursued. Scratching. Biting. He burst through the undergrowth.Branches whipped at his face. Roots threatened to trip him. His breath came in ragged gasps.

After a hundred meters, the sounds of pursuit faded.

”Haah... haah...”

He looked back. The forest behind him was empty. Quiet.

The squirrels had retreated to their territory.

”These squirrels are really weird... They really don’t chase me this far.”

Multiple scratches and bite marks ran along his arms. Some shallow. Some deeper. Blood welled from the wounds. Not serious, but painful.

”They’re weak... But very annoying. I’ll avoid the red berries, I guess. I prefer eating melopple over red berry anyway.”

He adjusted his grip on his single squirrel carcass. The one he had managed to keep. A small victory.

He turned toward home. Leaving the territory of the mossback squirrels behind.

***

Hyoren basking himself with afternoon gold and silver ray. He tracing back his arrow mark. The journey back is peaceful. He traced his way back through the ironwood trees, following the arrows he’d carved.

A rustle in the distance. He spotted a creeping vine ambush a horned rabbit. He gave the scene a wide detour and continued on his way. He studied the bushes as he passed.

”When I look again… Those creeping vines are distinguishable from normal plants.”

The difference was subtle, but clear. The shrubs that housed the vine cores were brighter than the surrounding vegetation. And they were too still. Other plants rustled with the wind, unlike them.

”Like they’re holding their breath.”

He listened to the forest sounds. After nine days in the forest, he started to adapt.

The dual suns dipped lower as the roar of the waterfall reached his ears. Home was close. He jumped over a small dead log—And felt something shift in his mind. He landed on the other side and stopped.

”Hmm?”

It wasn’t like the level up. No warmth spreading through his body. No sudden surge of physical strength.

This was different. A feeling of knowledge settling into his mind. His eyes dropped to the forest floor. He crouched, studying the ground.

”I can see it… The traces of horned rabbits. These footprints… The horn marks on trees...”

He stood and walked a few paces. Then back again. He stepped on a patch of earth, feeling the firmness beneath his boot.

”I suddenly know where the ground is solid. And where it isn’t. Fallen branches. Dry leaves. The ones that will make loud sounds if I step on them. I know where they are without looking.”

As he continued walking, his steps were more confident now. He tilted his head, listening to the forest.

”And the forest sounds. I can hear the rabbits more clearly. Distinguish them from the wind. From everything else.”

He arrived at the cave and set down his pouch of melopples. The squirrel carcass went beside the rabbit he’d left from yesterday. Then he picked them both and moved to the riverside.

”This new knowledge...”

His knife sliced through the rabbit’s hide, separating it from the flesh.

”It just appeared in my mind. Suddenly.”

He thought back over the past nine days.

”I did try to move more quietly through the forest. I tried to be aware of the monsters. But this is different. The difference between before and after is too... clear.”

He finished the rabbit and moved on to the squirrel.

”I now understand the forest more. And it was sudden knowledge. Not gradual.”

He gathered the meat, the pelts, and the glowing moss patch. The carcass remains he left by the river for the slimes.

He climbed back to his cave and stored the meat on the shelves. Then he started a fire, he speared the squirrel and rabbit meat and held it over the fire. He plopped down on his rug of pelts, waiting for the meat to cook.

“This new knowledge. If experience point exist. If leveling up exist…”

He took a bite of the squirrel meat, savoring the chicken-like flavor.

“Then this is skill. I’m sure of it…”

The fantasy knowledge in his mind practically screamed at him. Countless games played. Novels read. Manga consumed. If leveling up existed—even without a visible status screen—then skills should existed too.

He finished eating and spread a fresh piece of leather on the floor.

”Skill to understand the forest. How to move easily. How to move silently. How to see monster tracks and positions…”

He tapped his finger against his chin.

”I don’t know the real name yet. But for now, I’ll dub it Forest Walker.”

He scribbled the skill name on the leather. Then think about how to acquire it.

”The knowledge appeared suddenly. But I feel like it came after I started consciously understanding the forest. After nine days of walking and adapting.”

He wrote his theory beneath the skill name.

”Most fantasy games and novels use this trope. Proficiency. Skills gained through repetition of action.”

He calculated the hours in his head.

”How long did it take to acquire this skill? Nine days of walking and exploring. Around three to four hours per day. With a rest day mixed in.Give or take... twenty to thirty hours of continuous walking and forest adaptation.”

He scribbled the numbers and underlined the estimate.

“I need to test this. See baseline of skill acquisition.”

His spear came to his view.

“Spear skill… spear mastery… or something like that, should exist too. But I can’t use it to see the baseline. I already used spear for a while.”

The leather, bones, and his material.

“Fantasy world usually have crafting skill too. I tan a lot of leather, butchering meat, and craft horned-rabbit spear. But no. I need baseline.”

He went to entrance of his cave and scanned the perimeter.

“Experiment need new things which I haven’t do. Control group. Something easy to track.”

His eyes landed on the multiple rocks on the river side. Then he went back to his cave. His eyes were focused on the goal of his.

“Throwing. Stone throwing.”

He wrote down stone throwing on the leather. Log it down : Stone Throwing

“Tomorrow I will start it. I dedicated the morning to hunting, foraging and exploring the quadrant. Continue explore west. Then east. To fill my map.”

He unrolled his map and added details to the western section.

The map was still incomplete. The edges were straight lines. He needed to explore the sides, fill in the gaps.

”After I finish filling the map, I’ll dedicate the afternoon to testing my theory…”

He set the map aside.

”Four to six hours of throwing stones. By the sixth day at most, I should gain a new skill… I hope.”

With new determination, he lay down on his bed. Back to soldier’s sleep. But with excitement of prospect of understanding how skills worked.

***

Hyoren roused from his soldier’s sleep with excitement. He marked his calendar with another lines—Tenth day.

“Morning. Exploration time. Then later at afternoon. Time to test the skill theory.”

He grabbed his spear from where it leaned against the wall. He packed a few melopples and strips of smoked rabbit meat into his pouch.

He left the cave and headed west, go to slight angle to the side. Never forget to mark the ironwood trees.

”Skill truly changes everything…”

He stepped over a dry branch without looking, his foot finding solid ground on the other side.

”My walking speed is faster. I can track horned rabbits and creeping vines easily.”

A rabbit burst from the undergrowth to his left. He was already turning, spear already thrusting. The creature died before it could complete its attack. He left the carcass and continued walking.

The morning passed in quickly. His spear found its mark again and again. Squirrels dropped from tree near red berry bushes. Creeping vines were cut down before they could strike.

By midday, when the dual suns hung at their zenith, he turned back toward the cave. He brought only the two squirrel carcasses with him—the rest of carcass he left for the slimes.

He returned to the cave, quickly dissected the squirrels by the river, and set the meat aside.

”Now… I should start the experiment.”

He walked to the riverside and began gathering stones.

”Stone throwing. I need to make a target. And to keep the experiment strict, I’ll throw from a similar distance and use similar-sized rocks.”

He gathered a dozen stones and carried them to a clearing near the cave. An ironwood tree stood at the edge. He approached it and carved a circle into the trunk, about chest height.

Then he paced out twenty meters. He set down a flat stone at the spot—a marker for where he would stand.

”Time to mindlessly throw stones.”

He picked up the first stone. Aimed at the target. Threw. The stone sailed through the air and struck the tree.

He picked up another stone. Threw. Missed. Another. Threw. Missed.

He persisted through the afternoon. Throw stone. Walk to the tree. Retrieve stones. Walk back. Throw again. The dual suns crawled across the sky. Shadows lengthened. His arm began to ache. He stopped only to drink water. Then back to throwing.

Stone. Hit. Stone. Miss. Stone. Hit.

The suns descended toward the horizon. Orange light spilled through the trees. He threw the last stone of the day. It struck the tree. He lowered his arm, wincing at the soreness.

”Based on the suns… I threw for six consecutive hours. Give or take.”

He gathered the stones and trudged back to the cave.

”I hope this rewards me. And I’m sure it will. Walking through the forest gave me skill. If this world works like fantasy. Hard work will be rewarded.”

He started the fire, the flames crackling to life. He skewered the squirrel meat and held it over the heat. While it cooked, he unrolled his leather and picked up his charcoal and wrote today logs.

Day 10: Stone Throwing - 6 hours.

Below that, he logged his kills:

12 Horned Rabbits - 12 exp

2 Mossback Squirrels - 2 exp

2 Creeping Vines - 2 exp

Total: 16 exp

He stared at the numbers. Twenty-four had been needed for the first level. If the curve was similar, he might need more for the next one.

He set the leather aside and unrolled his map. Carefully, he filled in the western section. He rolled up the map and set it with his other records.

“Tomorrow. I will do it again.”

The squirrel meat was done. He ate in silence, his arm aching with every movement. When he finished, he lay down on his rug of pelts. He closed his eyes and let the soldier’s sleep take him.

***

The next few days went quickly. Hyoren settled into his routine. Morning exploration, filling in the western section of his map. Afternoon stone throwing, his muscle ached with the repetition. The second day of his experiment, he logged five hours of throwing.

His aim improved. Visibly. The stones still missed the carved circle more often than not, but at least they were hitting the tree now. Every throw struck bark instead of sailing past into the undergrowth.

”Progress. Slow, but progress.”

The third day arrived. By midday, he’d finished mapping the western section.

He returned to the cave then he picked up his stones. Five more hours of throwing.

His arm screamed. His shoulder ached. But the results were undeniable. Every stone hit the tree now. Not all of them struck the carved circle, but more than before.

“Damn it. This is really boring. And my arms are aching.”

He rolled his arms.

“But this was nothing compared how dad once kept forcing me run for 5 km every day… for a whole month… that was torture.”

He trudged back to the cave as the dual suns touched the horizon.

He started the fire and set his rabbit meat to cook over the flames. While it roasted, he unrolled his leather logs.

”Three days of experiment. I need to persist. My aim has definitely improved. And I’m getting closer to the goal of twenty to thirty hours of repeated action.”

He calculated the total:

Total: 16 hours

”Four to fourteen more hours. If my theory holds, I should gain the skill within the next few days.”

He set aside the skill log and unrolled his kill record.

38 points total since Level 2

”Thirty-eight points. And still no level up. As expected. Reaching Level 3 requires more exp than Level 2…. Truly game-like mechanics.”

He rolled up the kill log and spread his map across the floor. The western section was filled in now. The eastern section remained blank. He traced the edge of the mapped area with his finger.

”West is done. I should map east next.”

The rabbit meat was done. He ate quickly, his body demanding rest. When he finished, he lay down on his rug of pelts and stared at the cave ceiling. Then the soldier’s sleep finally took him.

***

Hyoren woke up at the morning. Check his calendar, marked another lines. He stretched, rolled his shoulders.

“East side this time.”

He gathered his supplies. Spear. Knife. Food. Water. The familiar weight settled against his hip and shoulder.

He left the cave and headed east. He carved arrows into the trunks of ironwood trees as he walked. The forest felt different in this direction.

”Interesting.  East side. Only horned rabbits. No squirrels. No vines. No resources either.”

He killed a few as he walked, leaving the carcasses for the slimes.

After several hours, he turned back, following his arrow marks toward home. The roar of the waterfall reached his ears in the distance.

But beneath it, something else. A muffled rustle. The faint scrape of a horn against bark. He adjusted his grip on his spear and kept walking. The rabbit burst from the undergrowth, crimson eyes locked on him. It jumped.

He pivoted. Thrust. The horned-rabbit spear punched through the creature’s neck.

“My fresh meal for today. Nice”

And then he felt it.  All experience points he gathered start to spreading into his body.

“Woah. Finally another level up.”

He flexed his finger and try to jump.

“Level 3. Roughly another 5 percent strength and speed increase.”

He grabbed the rabbit carcass and broke into a jog, rushing back to the cave. The familiar stone walls welcomed him. He set the carcass aside and unrolled his experience points log and grabbed a charcoal.

”Yesterday my exp count was thirty-eight. The rabbit I just killed was my tenth. So the total is… Forty-eight experience points.”

Hyoren stared at the numbers.

Level 2 required: 24 points.

Level 3 required: 48 points.

”Double. Now I’m sure. This is an exponential curve.”

He calculated further, scribbling the numbers on the leather. Level 4 should require: 96.  He sat back, staring at the figure.

”Ninety-six. That means killing that many rabbits? Damn.”

He thought about his daily haul.

”On average, I get ten to fifteen kills per day. So I need six to nine days to reach Level 4.This is harsh…”

But he wasn’t surprised. He rolled up the parchment.

”But that was expected. The grind is never easy. But with this knowledge…  I finally understand the mechanics. The goal will be clearer. I can persist if I know the goal instead of running blindly.”

He thought about the clearing to the south. The purple flowers. The metallic insects. The sleeping pollen that had nearly killed him.

”My goal is defeating the flower and insect. To be safe, I want to reach Level 5 first.”

He calculated in his head. Level 3 took 48 points. If the pattern held, Level 4 would take 96. Level 5 would require 192. Weeks of grinding. Maybe longer.

He then dissected the rabbit by the river. Meat for the shelves. Hide for tanning. Then he walked to his clearing, gathered his stones, and began the afternoon’s work.

Throw. Retrieve. Throw. Retrieve. His accuracy continued to improve. By the time the dual suns touched the horizon, he was hitting the target roughly forty percent of the time.

He trudged back to the cave, started the fire, and set his meat to roast. While the rabbit cooked, he unrolled his skill log.

“Today, another 5 hours of stone throwing. My accuracy is improved a bit. 21 hours of stone throwing is not yet giving me skill. I hope I got skill tomorrow. Because this is starting to become boring.”

He ate his roasted rabbit meat, supplementing it with melopple fruits from his stores.

After dinner, he unrolled his map and added details to the eastern section. East side. Horned rabbit territory. No useful resources. Sparse vegetation. He drew the boundaries, marked the stream he’d found, noted the terrain features.

”Well… I still need to map it. Even if there’s nothing useful here.”

He rolled up the map and set it with his other records. He lay down on his rug of pelts, his body exhausted, his mind still turning over the numbers. He closed his eyes and let the soldier’s sleep take him.

***

Day 14 came marked with another lines by Hyoren. He picked his gear.

“East again. I should finish this today. The east is easier to traverse and the monster is more sparse.”

He spent the morning finishing exploring the east side. In the end, there was no landmark. Only forest full of rabbit.

As the time show it’s almost midday. He go back bringing 2 rabbit carcass. But he kill total of 16 rabbit. His new level 3 power make his walking and killing more efficient.

After finishing dissecting for the meat, and tanning for the leather, he continued his stone throwing routine.

And finally after 3 hours of stone throwing. He felt it. Another knowledge etched into his mind. The knowledge how to throw things.

“This skill. It’s actually not only for stones. It works with anything which I can hold with one hand. Stone. Dagger.”

He picked his spear. And the angle of throw is appeared in his mind. Throw it and it met it marks.

“Even my spear…”

He tried to throw stones, some knife shaped flint. 70 percent met the mark.

“The accuracy is not 100 percent. And I’m sure skill level exist too. If knowledge from games is applied here. With training and higher level, my accuracy will be improved, and the range should increase too.”

He quickly got his skills logs.

“And the baseline for skill acquisition. 24 hours of repeated action. 24 experience points to reach level 2 too.”

Hyoren paused.

“Hahahaha… This world truly loves 24 number…”

After he let out laugh at the one who designed this system. He focused again.

“Now. My next goal. Spear skill. I already used spear since the first day I got thrown here. 14 days. I use my spear for battle. On average I did battle for what… roughly 1 to 2 hours each day? Then I don’t need to train specifically for spear. With use I will get it within next few days.”

He went back to his cave as the night started to come. He started fire and roast his rabbit meat.

He unrolled his logs and map. He logged the skill acquisition method. And he mapped the east side.  After eating and logging. He went to sleep.
