Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

”Got him!”

At this moment, seeing the bulging quilt in front of him, the man in the lead whispered excitedly, a trace of icy cruelty flashing across his face.

At the same time, he tiptoed toward the bed. The matte-finished dagger in his hand gleamed with a cold light, carrying a faint scent of death!

In the eyes of the leader, as long as he struck decisively in the next second, he could instantly kill Lu Yu, who was ”sound asleep” on the bed. Then his mission from above would be accomplished!

Driven by this mood, the leader’s eyes were filled with chill, his focus absolute.

He was so focused that he completely failed to notice that right behind him, another member had already had his neck silently gripped by Lu Yu, the man’s whole body struggling in weakness and despair!

Now, with his mouth and nose covered by Lu Yu, this member was struggling with all his might, but he was like a lamb entangled by a giant python—no matter how he thrashed, he could not break free.

He couldn’t even do something as simple as make a sound to alert his companions to save him!

After a moment of powerless struggle, the member’s body went limp, and he quietly stopped breathing.

Meanwhile, the leader was still sunk in his intense concentration. His hand gripped the dagger tightly, his expression deadly serious.

He’d already heard about Lu Yu—taking a bullet head-on without dying, and with terrifying hand-to-hand skills.

Given that, no matter what, he knew he had to be extremely cautious now.

His gaze slowly fixed on the raised quilt before him. The man drew a deep breath, then, without another word, whipped up the dagger in his hand and plunged it viciously down at the bedding!

However, the instant the blade stabbed down, the leader’s face suddenly changed, turning extremely ugly.

Because he could clearly feel that the sensation in his hand was completely wrong!

The only feedback from the stab was a soft, empty resistance, with no sense of hitting anything solid, as if he’d stabbed into thin air.

Bang!

As the dagger went down, a dull thud rang out—heavy and muffled. Obviously, it was the sound of wood being pierced.

Clearly, what the leader had stabbed this time wasn’t Lu Yu at all, but the wooden floor!

With that thought, his face changed. He yanked the quilt up, and saw that aside from a single pillow, there was no sign of Lu Yu at all!

Buzz!

As that realization hit, the leader’s scalp went numb. In that instant, he understood he’d been completely played!

Buzz!

Seeing the scene before him, terror flared in the leader’s eyes in an instant.

If his stab had hit nothing, it meant the target already knew about their assault!

”Fall back!”

With that thought, the leader barked out, then whipped around, wanting to get out.

Throughout, he cut his losses without hesitation, decisively to the extreme.

But the moment he turned, his soul almost flew out of his body at the sight before him—behind him, his teammate’s corpse lay crumpled on the floor, looking bone-chilling at a glance!

It was the dead of night, silent all around. His companion had died without a sound less than ten meters behind him, and he hadn’t noticed at all!

Coupled with the fact that this was an old United Kingdom-style house, heavy and eerie in atmosphere, just looking at it made your back go cold!

Staring at the scene, the leader could hardly believe his eyes!

Seeing this corpse, the leader finally realized that of the group who had first entered the room, including himself, there were now only three left!

That thought sent a wave of savage cold surging up his spine. He had never imagined things would turn out like this!

Feeling that chill, the leader suddenly felt that this entire old United Kingdom house was riddled with killing intent!

Lu Yu wasn’t on the bed, and several of his companions had died without a sound. All of this made one thing clear: Lu Yu was somewhere in this room, watching them from the shadows!

The more he thought about it, the more panic clawed at the leader’s heart. He had never imagined that their seemingly flawless assassination operation would be seen through by Lu Yu so easily!

”T-turn on the lights!”

Under the pressure of his fear, the leader spoke in a fluster, and in his tone threads of panic were already impossible to hide.

Now, the darkness hadn’t become a tool to hide their presence; instead, it had turned into an accomplice in their slaughter!

Snap!

Hearing the leader’s order, his two remaining companions instantly flicked on the main light in the bedroom.

And the moment the lights came on, the leader suddenly saw that out on the sofa in the living room beyond the bedroom, Lu Yu was sitting there, his gaze icy as it rested on the leader. Lu Yu spoke calmly: ”You people are really pathetic. I took out several of you and watched you for ages, and you didn’t notice a thing.”

Lu Yu just sat there on the sofa, speaking, his words dripping with coldness.

He looked like a bloodthirsty beast from the jungle staring at its frail prey—ice-cold, with a hint of mockery.

Buzz!

At Lu Yu’s words, the leader’s scalp tingled again. He had never imagined that their silent assassination would be seen through by Lu Yu so effortlessly!

”Y-you knew we were coming?”

Hearing Lu Yu, the leader blurted out in shock. His tone was full of disbelief; he simply couldn’t figure out how Lu Yu had discovered them!

”Of course.”

Lu Yu replied indifferently, ”Late at night is when most people sleep the deepest. If you want to kill someone quietly, this time window is perfect.”

As he spoke, Lu Yu was utterly at ease, without the slightest trace of tension. In his eyes, the few men before him simply weren’t opponents at all.
