Genshin x Minecraft: Building the Temple of Virtue

Seeing that Makoto had decided to depart immediately, Ningguang also spoke softly:

”In that case… Xiao, would you personally accompany them?”

Xiao nodded silently and took the token from Ningguang’s hand.

”The dragon flocks grow faster in Teyvat, and their potential is higher. Currently, they are mostly training atop Tianheng Mountain.”

”I will send two hundred dragon riders to accompany you. This is partly to seek justice for the merchants suffering in Inazuma, and partly to provide some support for Baal’s subordinates.”

Hearing this, Makoto felt a bit embarrassed and said:

”I apologize for the situation with Liyue’s merchants. Once I return, I will personally supervise the Commissioner of Contracts to make them compensate for the economic losses of Liyue and Mondstadt merchants.”

”But… we haven’t signed a contract yet. Is it okay for these people to be lent to me?”

Ningguang shook her head, smiling lightly:

”No problem. A contract is just a form of constraint. But clearly, right now, we don’t really care about such constraints.”

Ningguang didn’t explain further, but Makoto understood.

The Tri-Nation Alliance was now incredibly powerful.

Together, the three nations could overturn all of Teyvat, except for Celestia itself.

Contracts that weren’t enforced didn’t matter.

As long as it wasn’t Celestia, Ningguang didn’t believe anyone would dare violate the alliance’s contracts.

Moreover, Makoto didn’t appear to be someone who would break a contract anyway.

Inazuma was in chaos. If Makoto tried to handle it alone, it would take a long time. It was better to intervene and speed things up.

It also served to back up Lumine and the others, who had been chased around Inazuma for so long—it had been quite unlucky for them.

”I will try to resolve everything within three days, then return to sign the contract again.”

Xiao had already gone to gather the dragon cavalry. Makoto looked at Ryen and said softly:

”I’ll leave this to you.”

Ryen nodded with a smile. Zhongli and Azhdaha also paused their conversation for the moment, and the group escorted Makoto and the others out.

Suddenly, Ryen spoke up:

”Oh, by the way, if possible…”

”I know.”

Yae Miko picked up the thread, blinking with a smile:

”The Gnosis! Those are in my hands. If you want them, I can give them to you after I return.”

Makoto was somewhat surprised that the Gnosis were in Yae Miko’ possession, but thinking it over, it made sense.

With Ei’s power, she didn’t really need any external enhancements.

”We’ll talk about it when we return,” Ryen said with a smile.

Suddenly, a massive swarm of dark silhouettes descended from the sky.

The roars of the dragon flock echoed endlessly, startling the guards of Tianheng Mountain.

The Qianyan Army looked up and saw the majestic dragon cavalry. They only sighed with envy and continued their work.

Though the Qianyan Army had enviable positions within Liyue Harbor, there were still hierarchies within it.

While light cavalry, heavy cavalry, and ranged units were all strong, in comparison, they envied the dragon cavalry even more.

The aerial combat of dragon riding—this kind of spectacle—was something no ground battle could compare to.

But the selection criteria for the Dragon Cavalry were the strictest. Even now, most of the Qianyan Army didn’t know how members were chosen, let alone the average Liyue citizen.

Two hundred dragons hovered in perfect formation, their wings flapping, whipping up fierce winds atop Tianheng Mountain.

For Makoto and the others, this was their first time seeing the Dragon Cavalry. Even Jean and her team had never seen such a large number of dragon riders before.

It was undeniably awe-inspiring.

Naturally, it made them even more eager for their own future dragon cavalry.

”What an awe-inspiring, invincible army…” Makoto muttered, but didn’t dwell on it. She mounted her dragon along with Yae Miko and the others, softly saying:

”In that case, we’ll take our leave now. Until another day.”

Ryen and the others waved as Makoto and her group flew off toward Inazuma with the two hundred dragon riders.

…

Today, Liyue Harbor was as bustling and peaceful as ever.

But that peace was soon shattered.

It wasn’t clear who noticed first, but the moment someone looked up and saw it, they shivered in shock.

Trembling, they pointed toward the sky.

”That… what is that?!”

A Liyue citizen looked up, and immediately the entire harbor followed suit, their eyes fixed on the heavens.

It was like a multicolored ocean sweeping across the sky.

The roar of the dragon flock thundered through Liyue Harbor.

Over two hundred dragons flew in perfect formation at incredible speed, stirring fierce gusts of wind below that made people squint and shield their eyes.

”That… that’s the Dragon Cavalry from Liyue’s legends!”

Hanxue stumbled out of his house, tears in his eyes, staring up in awe.

At that moment, his blood surged, his whole body trembled, and an innate pride stiffened his spine.

”Dragon Cavalry! This is the Dragon Cavalry! Liyue’s ultimate ace! Our truly invincible army!”

Iron Tongue Tian lost all composure, scrambling onto his storyteller’s platform, raising his hands as if trying to touch the dragons.

”There were rumors some time ago that the Qianyan Army had five main divisions.”

”Besides the light cavalry, heavy cavalry, ranged units, and naval forces we know…”

”There is a truly invincible division: the Dragon Cavalry. Where the Dragon Cavalry appears, the Archons bow! At that time… I imagined what the Dragon Cavalry would be like!”

”So this… this is the Dragon Cavalry!”

”Controlling sky and earth, sweeping across the seas and lands! Born invincible, appearing invincible!”

”Dragon Cavalry! Dragon Cavalry! My life has no regrets! My life has no regrets!!”

”With an army like this, who in heaven or on earth could stop them? Even the Archons—could they really resist Liyue?”

”Rubbish! Don’t even think about it! To resist such an invincible army, you’d need someone on the level of the Emperor himself!”

”Mom! I want to join the Qianyan Army! I want to become a Dragon Knight too!”

”I’ll enlist! I must enlist! With an army like this, Liyue will endure forever!”

The entire harbor erupted in chaos.

People ran through streets and alleys, chasing after the Dragon Cavalry as it soared overhead.

The legends that had circulated through the city were now a living reality, unfolding before everyone’s eyes.

Even those who knew the truth, like Baiwen and the others, were momentarily at a loss for words.

The majestic, imposing dragons, and the stern, unyielding riders—it was a sight that inspired awe and reverence in all who witnessed it.

This was a legion that controlled the sky and the land.

This was Liyue’s legendary force!
