Genshin x Minecraft: Building the Temple of Virtue

”Is there any effect, Ryen?”

Hu Tao blinked curiously.

Ryen explained softly:

”First of all, Fiery Aura and Chill Aura are enchantments for armor. Fiery Aura is similar to Thorns—when an enemy hits you, they take fire damage and get ignited.”

”Chill Aura is the opposite—it freezes the attacker.”

”Interestingly, these two enchantment books can only be found in the treasure chests of the Aurora Palace.”

”Also, both enchantments are incompatible with Thorns. So, an armor piece can only have one of them.”

”As for Destruction, it’s similar to our linked block harvesting skill, but it needs to be applied to a chain mace—it expands the block-breaking range.”

”Overall, these are very practical enchantments.”

Everyone exchanged glances, their anticipation for the Twilight Forest growing stronger.

This mod was a proper high-yield exploration mod.

As long as one invested time into exploring and fully taking control of the Twilight Forest, its vast resources could arm all three nations to the teeth.

Not to mention, Ningguang was already imagining—one group wielding enchanted flame-arrow bows and Fiery swords, while another had Ice swords and ice bows.

That would trigger a large-scale Melt reaction.

Forget Genshin—even the Archons would have to steer clear and lay low for a while.

Compared to previous mods they’d unlocked—ones you could still call whimsical—The Twilight Forest could only be described as strange and mysterious.

The stuff in here was bizarre beyond belief.

Like the Tree of Time—who would’ve thought something like that could really exist?

A tree that controls time?

What would Istaroth think about that?

Still, despite the many treasures in the Twilight Forest, its terrifying monsters couldn’t be ignored.

Everyone here was strong, sure—but being arrogant in the Minecraft world could easily get you killed.

The good news was: at least now, you could still be revived if you died...

”Ryen, do we have a plan now? Have you made arrangements?”Jean gathered herself and looked expectantly at Ryen.

Normally, Ryen’s plans for that world were the most well-thought-out.

After all, he knew more than anyone else. And when things went according to his step-by-step strategies, they always reached their goals the fastest.

Just like the revival mod he’d promised Zhongli and the others earlier.

That’s why everyone followed Ryen’s plans so closely.

Ryen stretched lazily.

”A plan? Of course we’ve got one. Right now—let’s go to sleep!”

”???”

Jean blushed slightly, not sure what she’d just thought of.

”Resting just after unlocking a new mod? Isn’t that a bit too soon?”Keqing crossed her arms and looked helplessly at Ryen.

”What else can we do?”

Ryen shrugged.

”We haven’t slept for five days in the End. There’s no way we’re going into that world today.”

”Otherwise, we’ll get attacked by Phantoms tonight.”

”To explore the Twilight Forest, we must be in our best condition. Klee and Nahida haven’t slept in five days either, and I’m worried about them,”Keqing paused in surprise, then apologized with some embarrassment:”That was my oversight. Let’s go take a look tomorrow instead.”

Upon hearing this, Ryen asked curiously,”Have you finished your work?”

Keqing shook her head.”There’s still some left, but it’s nothing major. Liyue Harbor has recovered to its original state quickly over the past few days. The impact from human governance has been minimal.”

”I just need to finalize the expansion plans for Liyue Harbor. Everything is nearly ready; the workers just need to continue building.””Ningguang, on the other hand, still has a lot on her plate. Tomorrow, she’ll probably—”

Before Keqing could finish, Ningguang interrupted decisively:”I can go tomorrow too. The affairs of Liyue Harbor can be handled by the Ministry of Civil Affairs and Baiwen’s team. There won’t be any issues.””Compared to that, the new module is the real priority. I’m not going to miss it.”

Ryen let out a helpless chuckle and nodded.”In that case, let’s head out tomorrow.”

”But we won’t go to the Twilight Forest just yet. There’s still a lot to plan.””In five days, the newly stationed Millelith and Knights should already be familiar with many things.””Have them guard the original base, and send out the rest to search for new base locations.””This time, we won’t be joining. Let Dashi and the others handle it. My plan is to build three new bases.””Preferably near areas with rich mineral resources. We lost a lot of supplies before and haven’t replenished them yet.”

Ningguang nodded in agreement.”Once we’re there tomorrow, I’ll arrange for Dashi’s group to take action. Also, regarding the Nether…”

Hearing her mention the Nether, Zhongli and the others were suddenly reminded. They still needed a large number of Wither Skeleton skulls to summon Wither Storms and resurrect the immortals.

If the Millelith fully retreated from the Nether, gathering the skulls would become a huge hassle for just the few of them.

Ryen clearly thought of this too. Stroking his chin in thought for a moment, he said quietly:”The Nether exploration must continue. Not to mention, our need for Wither Skeleton skulls and other materials is limitless.””The ancient ruins of the Nether haven’t been found yet, and we’ve seen no trace of Netherite Alloy either.””Tomorrow, we’ll assess the situation. If Team Two has trained the Millelith troops to handle the Nether, let them take over the exploration.””If not, then have Team Two leave behind some members to teach them quickly.”

Upon hearing this, Zhongli and the others finally breathed a sigh of relief.

”Tonight, everyone should rest well. Zhongli, if you’re interested, you can search for the lingering souls of the immortals. Tomorrow, get Wither Skeleton skulls from Dashi and try reviving the immortals.””As for the Twilight Forest… once our tasks are arranged, we’ll explore it together. It’s dangerous to go with too few people.”

As soon as he finished, Moon Carver nodded decisively.”No problem! Yixiao fell around Mount Tianheng. I’ll go there tonight and see if I can find his soul.”

Cloud Retainer also said:”I’ll head to Minghai’s abode and check there, and while I’m at it, bring back the Mingxia Spirit Stone.”
