Naruto: End of the Shinobi World

Her mother’s death.

The cold indifference around her.

The lurking malice in every corner.

All of it swallowed the seven- or eight-year-old girl in endless fear and grief.

And then—

At the very peak of despair, something changed.

Across the shinobi world, viewers watched clearly as Karin—curled up in the corner—suddenly trembled violently, as if she had heard something.

She slowly lifted her head, eyes still wet with tears, and stared into empty space ahead of her.

It was as though she were speaking to someone unseen.

But no matter how intently people focused, they heard nothing.

They saw nothing.

There was no voice. No figure.

Only Karin.

Her expression shifted.

From confusion… to fear… to an almost chilling concentration.

Then—

All her sorrow and terror ignited like a fuse, exploding into boundless hatred and fury.

The red eyes that should have been innocent now burned with destructive flame.

The childish softness vanished from her face, replaced by killing intent utterly incompatible with her age.

”Something’s wrong… this is very wrong!”

”Who is she talking to?!”

”That transformation—it’s too sudden! Too unnatural!”

”Could it be…? Is Karin really—?!”

For some quick-thinking observers—especially those familiar with the ”Demon Child” incident—a single name detonated in their minds.

They stared at the small figure on the Heavenly Curtain in disbelief.

The Demon Child.

It was her.

The blood-soaked Demon Child who destroyed Kusagakure—

Was none other than Uzumaki Karin.

The speculation turned into brutal reality.

Karin rose slowly to her feet.

Her steps were steady. Cold. Deliberate.

She walked out of the house that had held her brief childhood—and her eternal trauma.

Then the slaughter began.

No warning.

No declaration.

Like a puppet of invisible strings—or a revenant crawling from hell—she charged into the streets of Kusagakure.

A small hand lashed out—

Carrying power utterly disproportionate to her body.

Anything she touched died.

Her figure flickered, leaving only red afterimages.

Grass shinobi fell like wheat before a scythe.

Blood sprayed across walls, soaked into the earth. Screams, pleas, the sickening crack of bone—layered over one another as the village transformed into a living inferno.

Karin displayed no rage.

No howls of vengeance.

Only cold, efficient, almost mechanical killing.

At times, the corners of her lips even curved into a pure, innocent smile—

A smile so wrong it chilled the soul.

All across the shinobi world, viewers fell into a deathly silence.

Civilians. Genin. Kage-level elites.

No one spoke.

A bone-deep chill crept up every spine.

They were witnessing the birth of the Demon Child—

Watching a helpless orphan transform, under the influence of some unknown force, into an avatar of annihilation.

It was not merely the power that terrified them.

It was the totality of the change.

The absolute indifference to life.

The way humanity seemed to vanish in an instant.

The fall of Kusagakure was no longer rumor.

Through the Heavenly Curtain, it was carved into the collective memory of the shinobi world.

From this moment onward—

”Demon Child Karin” would no longer be speculation.

It would be a blade hanging over the world.

Only when Karin finished slaughtering every shinobi in sight, ignited roaring flames that swallowed the village whole, and pursued the fleeing survivors beyond its borders—

Did the suffocating silence finally shatter.

”What?! The Demon Child… is Karin?!”

”How is that possible?! She was just a powerless girl who lost her mother!”

”If she had that kind of power, how could her mother have been drained to death?! Why didn’t she use it earlier?!”

The contradiction shattered logic.

Confusion erupted everywhere.

”Wait! If Karin is the Demon Child, then how did she become a member of Uchiha Sasuke’s Team Taka in the first broadcast? She looked… normal. Cold, maybe—but normal!”

”Exactly! That doesn’t add up! Did something happen later to make her ’normal’ again?”

”Or… is this ’Demon Child’ state the abnormal one?”

Hokage’s Office – Konoha

Jiraiya spoke first, his tone grave.

”Did you notice? Right before Karin started killing… she seemed to be talking to someone. But we couldn’t hear anything. And no one was there.”

Tsunade’s face was solemn.

”I noticed. That change was too abrupt. Too complete.”

”A grieving child turning instantly into a vessel of hatred and slaughter? That isn’t natural emotional progression.”

”There was outside interference. Something… spoke to her. Or perhaps… bestowed something upon her.”

Jiraiya’s expression shifted sharply.

”Another mysterious entity? Don’t tell me it’s the ’Order of Divine Knights’ again?”

”Unlikely,” Tsunade replied immediately. ”They’re mysterious, yes—but this kind of venomous, near-mad brutality doesn’t feel like their style.”

”That’s worse!” Jiraiya ran a hand through his hair in frustration. ”It means that beyond the Heavenly Curtain, divine techniques, the serpent incident, and the Order of Divine Knights—there’s something else in this world.”

”Something that can twist a little girl’s mind and grant her power to wipe out an entire village.”

That possibility was more terrifying than any known enemy.

Known threats could be measured. Prepared for.

But this?

An unseen force capable of warping the mind and bestowing catastrophic power—while remaining completely hidden?

You didn’t even know what it was.

What it wanted.

Or who it would choose next.

Tsunade fell silent.

She had reached the same conclusion.

Watching the small figure bathed in firelight—like a crimson reaper pursuing fleeing survivors—

A heavy sense of helplessness settled in her chest.
