Primordial 'Dual Cultivator' Dragon With System

”What is that?” Ling Yun pointed at a blue seed that came out of the spirit statue and floated above Ye Jing’s head.

”That’s the spirit seed.” Ling Yun turned to Ling Xi, who immediately explained it to him. ”The spirit seed is the embryo of a spirit race. Zhou Yu, Lei, and I were born from the seed. That’s the reason why Lei turned into a golden seed after she sacrificed her strength to you, especially since she was born from the essence of the golden lightning. After being exposed to the same element for so many years, the seed will turn into a spirit.”

”Hmm?” Ling Yun returned his gaze to the blue seed again. ”Does that mean this seed will be reborn like Lei before? Why did you give it to Ye Jing? Wouldn’t it take over her body?”

The female elf ghost shook her head at him. ’Usually, you’re not wrong about that, but this seed no longer has a soul. The owner had reincarnated a long time ago, so this seed could never return to being a spirit, especially since it was just an empty shell.’

”She’s right, Ling Yun.” Ling Xi explained to him once again. ”If a spirit dies, he or she will turn into a spirit seed. However, not all spirit seeds will be reborn as new spirits, especially if his or her soul decides to enter the cycle of reincarnation. This seed is also like that because the owner decided to reincarnate, but the owner left his or her past power in it. If the seed merges with Ye Jing, she will inherit the owner’s past power, which will increase her strength significantly.”

’This seed is different from the other spirit seed, Luxuria.’ Ling Xi raised an eyebrow at the female elf ghost. ’Both of you try to pay close attention to the seed.’

”Hmm?” Both Ling Xi and Lei Lin seriously looked at the seed before being shocked.

”Ling Yun! Ye Jing sure is lucky!” Lei Lin exclaimed loudly.

Ling Xi nodded in agreement with that. ”Lei is right, Ling Yun. This spirit seed not only contains the owner’s past power, but the owner also left his or her spirit essence within it.”

”Meaning?”

”Ye Jing is a half spirit, and she will become a full spirit once this merges with her body, mainly because of the spirit essence inside.”

”Can that really happen?” Ling Yun asked doubtfully.

Ling Xi nodded at him. ”A spirit is formed from three things: spirit seed, spirit essence, and soul. The first to appear is the spirit seed, and it will transform into our body. The seed will be exposed to the element that corresponds to it, and it will form the spirit essence, which is the source of our strength. After they are both perfect, our souls will be born in the seed, and we will become perfect living creatures after going through a long process. However, the process differs from that of spirits born from other spirits, such as Lei, and her birth is similar to that of other living beings.”

’Luxuria is the prime example.’ Ling Yun only realized it after the female elf ghost mentioned it. ’She was born from the lust seed, which is the amalgamation of the lust of all living beings. Her seed was continuously exposed to their lust over a long period of time, and the one and only lust spirit was born in this universe because of it.’

Ling Xi smiled as she looked at the dumbfounded Ling Yun. ”Did you just realize it now? I have no parents or family, and I am the only one of my kin. Luckily, I have many people who love me, including Lei, Zhou Yu, and many others. Pride and the others are also the same as me, but I am luckier than most of them, especially since I was born with spiritual veins. Sloth was also born with spiritual veins, but he was too lazy to cultivate, so I was the strongest among them.”

”Phew.” Ling Yun exhaled softly, pulled Ling Xi into his arms, and kissed her. ”Even though you don’t have parents and family, you have me and the others now, right?”

”Yeah.” Ling Xi nodded at him before looking at the seed again. ”This spirit seed seems to contain the light element and essence, so Ye Jing will transform into a light spirit after it merges with her body. However, I don’t know if she will retain her water element, but I hope she will still have it after she transforms into a spirit.”

’You still don’t seem to understand this seed, Luxuria.’ Ling Xi looked at the female elf ghost with a questioning look. ’This seed not only contains the light element and essence, but it also contains several other elements, including the water element. Actually, the past owner had three elements: light, water, and blood.’

”The blood element?” Ling Yun, Ling Xi, and Lei Lin were shocked by that.

The female elf ghost nodded to them. ’Therefore, this little girl will also get the blood element after the process is complete, and you will understand why the blood element is so scary.’

”Yes.” Ling Xi then spoke. ”Whether humans, beasts, demons, or natural races, they all have blood in their bodies. The blood element cultivators can control the blood in their bodies freely, and they can kill their enemies using their own blood.”

’That’s right.’ The female elf ghost then asked them. ’Do you guys have any acquaintances from the giants, dwarves, gnomes, and other races? As you can see, there are several statues of them here, and all of them contain their past power. If you have acquaintances from all those races, you can bring them here, and I will pass on their past power to them. After that, my task will be completed, and my soul will enter the circle of reincarnation to be reincarnated.’

”We know many of them, but some of them are in seclusion in the Thousand Beasts Realm, and most of them are in the upper realms.” The female elf ghost looked disappointed after Ling Yun said that. ”I understand your desire to reincarnate as soon as possible, but there’s nothing I can do about it right now. However, one of my women is on her way to the Thousand Beasts Realm, and I will ask her to inform those who live there.”

The female elf ghost nodded in understanding. ’Please inform them and ask them to come to this domain as soon as possible.’

”Done.” Ling Yun then asked her. ”So, how long will it take them to complete the process?”
