Primordial 'Dual Cultivator' Dragon With System

As soon as they arrived inside the Snowy Death Forest, Shuang Yuzhu immediately shouted to Zhi Shen. ”Brother! Where did An Yufei and Wen Chang go? The two of them were right behind us just now, but they suddenly disappeared, and I couldn’t sense their aura around here.”

”Hmm?” Zhi Shen immediately took out a compass-like device, but the small arrow on it kept spinning irregularly. ”I don’t know when this happened, but misleading formations cover the entire forest.”

”What should we do now? Where should we look for them?” Shuang Yuzhu asked in panic.

”Neither of us are array masters, so we can’t do anything to look for them.” Zhi Shen pointed forward and shot out a white flame. Despite the cold in the forest, the flame did not freeze, and it quickly drifted towards the front. ”Let’s follow my soul flame.”

”Let’s go.”

Just as they had taken a few steps, Zhi Shen and Shuang Yuzhu saw three people unconscious, and some parts of their bodies were already frozen.

They exchanged glances for a moment before approaching the three to check on their condition. Zhi Shen checked on the man, and Shuang Yuzhu checked on the two women. ”Brother, their cultivation is in the Supreme God Realm, but they can’t withstand the cold in this forest.”

”Our master said that Ling Yun came here with quite several people, so they should be his friends. Perhaps there is no place this cold in their realm, and the weather in this forest is extremely cold, so they are not used to it yet.” The two helped them sit down, and Zhi Shen sat behind them by grabbing their shoulders. He channeled his fire elements into their bodies, warming them from the inside.

Shuang Yuzhu took some pills and forced the three of them to swallow them, and Zhi Shen helped them spread them.

A few minutes later, the three people opened their eyes, and Shuang Yuzhu immediately questioned them. ”Are the three of you Ling Yun’s friends?”

”Who are you two, seniors?” The three of them asked at the same time.

Shuang Yuzhu immediately shouted at them. ”Hey! You guys don’t have to be afraid of us! If we intended harm, my brother and I wouldn’t have saved you from the cold. Now, tell us the names of the three of you and your relationship with Ling Yun.”

”My name is Tian Kong.” Tian Yueling’s father then pointed to the two women. ”They are my mother-in-law and wife, Ran Hanrou and Ran Chenxin. We are Ling Yun’s in-laws, and my daughter is his wife.”

”Huh?” Shuang Yuzhu was taken aback for a moment. ”Are you guys really Ling Yun’s in-laws?”

Ran Chenxin nodded at her. ”We are truly his in-laws, senior. We came here with him, but something or someone separated us from him.”

Shuang Yuzhu looked at Zhi Shen behind them. ”What do you think about that, Brother?”

”The only clan that lives on this mountain is the Yin Dragon Clan, but I doubt they would do such a thing.” Zhi Shen immediately stood up and lifted the three of them with his aura. ”There may be something else in this forest, but it definitely doesn’t have any ill intentions, or the three of them would already be dead. For now, we can only walk forward, and we might meet the others soon.”

”I agree with that.” Shuang Yuzhu then asked them. ”Can the three of you walk? If we leave you guys here, you will freeze to death.”

”Yes, Senior. Thanks to the two of you, our condition is better now, so it’s no problem for us to walk.” Tian Kong replied.

”That’s good.” Shuang Yuzhu then followed her brother, who had walked first. ”My name is Shuang Yuzhu, and my brother is Zhi Shen. We both came from the Jade Cloud Plateau, and our master asked us to find Ling Yun.”

’What exactly happened? How did they know about Ling Yun?’ Tian Kong, Ran Chenxin, and Hanrou wondered in their hearts. ”Why did your master ask you to find my son-in-law, Senior?”

Shuang Yuzhu shook her head at him. ”My master did not tell us the details, and he only told us that he is the sole heir of the Primordial Chaos Dragon. Not only is our master trying to find him, but the leaders of the other floating islands have also sent their disciples here, including those heretics from the Dark Moon Plateau.”

’What really happened? We’ve only arrived in this realm a few days ago, but people in this realm already know about Ling Yun’s secret.’ As they walked forward, Tian Kong and the two women tried to ask Shuang Yuzhu all kinds of questions. Based on all her answers, they felt that her master had no ill intentions toward Ling Yun, but they kept many things tightly under wraps from her and Zhi Shen.

In another area, An Yufei and Wen Chang also met three other people. They helped them right away because the three of them were in pretty terrible shape.

As soon as they regained consciousness, Wen Chang questioned them. ”Who are you three? How did you all end up lost in this forest?”

”They should be Ling Yun’s friends.” The three of them froze in place after An Yufei said that. ”You three don’t need to react like this; we have no enmity with him, and we were only sent to monitor him. So, please tell us your names.”

”Tian Ya.”

”Jian Xian.”

”Zhiyu Shaoyun.”

”Are you from the upper realms?” The three of them nodded to Wen Chang. ”Even though An Yifei and I are array masters, the misleading formations in this forest are too difficult even for us, and we can’t crack them. For now, you guys can walk with us, or you will die in this forest.”

”Yes, Senior.” As they followed behind Wen Chang and An Yufei, Tian Ya and the others tried to find information about the two.

”We come from the Heaven Heart Plateau, and our master is the strongest among others, especially since he has long reached the Immortal Supreme Realm.” Wen Chang’s answer surprised the three of them. ”The second strongest is Shang Wuqing, the leader of the heretics on the Dark Moon Plateau. According to our information, he has dispatched the Twelve Death Constellations to capture Ling Yun at Xi Zuzhou’s behest.”

”Xi Zuzhou!”

An Yifen turned to them. ”Do you three know Xi Zuzhou?”

”No.” Tian Ya shook his head and explained. ”We have never met Xi Zuzhou in person, but we have heard his name from Ling Yun too many times.”

”According to him, Xi Zuzhou is the leader of the Ancient Devil Race, and he is the second strongest after Zhizun Buxiu.” Jian Xian explained further.

Zhiyu Shaoyun joined in. ”A few months before we left the upper realms, the heretics there tried to attack the Sea Flower Realm, where the natural races lived. However, the combined forces of their races, humans and beasts, thwarted the devil’s plan. When he was in a critical situation, the devil lord summoned Xi Zuzhou’s avatar, but he was defeated by the leader of the followers of the Old Primordial Chaos Dragon.”

”Doesn’t that mean that person is Ling Yun’s follower now? After all, he is the sole heir of the Primordial Chaos Dragon, and he will succeed his position in the future.” Jian Xian and the others actually didn’t want to discuss that with An Yifen, especially since they didn’t know her and Wen Chang yet. ”My master already knows about him, and his ancestor has also had some visions about him, so the three of you don’t need to lie to us.”

The three let out soft sighs. ”In fact, Huang Hao has not recognized Ling Yun as her master, and she asked him to prove his worthiness first. Despite this, she still helped him, and she is also in this forest now.”

”Please tell me more about him.” Noticing their hesitation, An Yifen explained why she wanted to know about Ling Yun. ”Our master told us that he could solve the mystery of the destruction of the Heaven Tower, but I doubted it because he was still too weak, even though he was the sole heir of the Primordial Chaos Dragon.”

”In fact, Ling Yun started his cultivation path two and a half years ago in the lower realms, but he has already reached the High Heavenly God Realm now.” An Yufei and Wen Chang stopped in place after Jian Xian said that. ”He is a dual cultivator, and there are many strong women by his side even though they are not as strong as the two of you, but their cultivation is far more than enough to help him.”

An Yifen took a deep breath. ”Brother, I think our master’s ancestor was right about Ling Yun.”

Wen Chang nodded in agreement and continued their journey. ”The people from the Spring Blossom Terrace were dual cultivators, but they would never be able to reach Ling Yun’s level in just two and a half years. Moreover, he started his cultivation path in the lower realms, which means his cultivation speed is absurdly fast.”

An Yifen suddenly remembered something. ”Speaking of the Spring Blossom Terrace, Chu Nanhua is in this forest right now, and I’m sure she will try to subdue Ling Yun using her abilities.”

”Haha.” Jian Xian laughed. ”Senior, that kind of woman will not be able to subdue Ling Yun, but instead, he will subdue her.”
