Primordial 'Dual Cultivator' Dragon With System

“Young miss, we’re going in, okay?” Three women stood in front of Du Yanyao’s room and asked him, but he didn’t answer them.

“What if we go straight in?” Yue Ye asked her friends.

“Let’s go in.” However, they saw Du Yanyao sitting on the bed with a blank look, and they exchanged glances in confusion.

Hong Fa immediately approached Du Yanyao and patted her shoulder. “What happened to you, young miss?”

“Hmm?” He Wu stood in front of Du Yanyao as she observed her expression. “Hey, guys! I think I know why our young miss is acting like this.”

“Did something happen to her?” Yue Ye asked her.

“En.” He Wu nodded and told them. “Apparently, she drank the potion I gave her before, especially since her expression was like my father’s when she was affected by it.”

“Is she crazy? Why did she drink that potion?”

“No, you’re both wrong.” He Wu responded by shaking her head. “She couldn’t have drunk it willingly, and she might have tried to give the potion to one of those guys, but her action seemed to backfire on her.”

“Does that mean it was one of them who forcibly made her drink the potion?”

“I think so.” Even though she said that, He Wu herself seemed doubtful about her answer, especially since Jiang Chen and the others’ cultivation was on par with theirs, so they shouldn’t be able to do such a thing to Du Yanyao. “Sigh! This is really serious, so I will contact my mother to ask for an antidote, or she will be controlled by one of them.”

Her two friends nodded in agreement with He Wu, as they had no other way to help Du Yanyao, but a man suddenly came into the room. “Hey! What happened to her? Why is she like that?”

“Young Master Ye Yongzi!”

They screamed while jumping in surprise, and He Wu answered him, pretending not to know. “Young master, we don’t know what happened to her, and she was like this when we came here.”

“Is that true?” Ye Yongzi didn’t seem to believe He Wu’s words.

“That’s true.” Yue Ye then answered him. “She actually left the sect two days ago, and we didn’t go with her, so we don’t know what happened to her out there.”

“In fact, we didn’t know before that she had returned, and we only found out after one of the disciples told us about her return.” Hong Fan explained it to him.

Hearing that, Ye Yongzi walked in front of Du Yanyao and took her hand, and he checked her body using his qi, but he didn’t find anything strange. “Do you guys know where she went before? Did she go with other disciples?”

“If I remember correctly, she was going to Song City, and she went with another female disciple.” Yue Ye answered his question.

Ye Yongzhi turned to them and asked again. “Who is that female disciple? Has she returned to the sect?”

“We don’t know her name.” Hong Fa answered by shaking her head. “However, she is a new disciple, and you can ask Elder Guo for her identity.”

“No need.” Ye Yongzhi then laid Du Yanyao on the bed and took off her dress. “You guys can leave now.”

“Is he really going to dual-cultivate with her under such circumstances?” Yue Yue asked her friends after they left the room.

“He is one of our young miss’ dual cultivation partners, so we don’t need to care about their affairs.” Hong Fa then asked He Wu. “How did it go? Does your mother have the antidote?”

“My mother’s master only gave her the potion, but she didn’t give her the antidote, so we can’t do anything to help our young miss.” He Wu answered with a heavy sigh. “Anyway, we have to find Elder Xu and report this matter to her, but you two better not tell her about the potion, or I will be expelled from the sect.”

After that, they went to Elder Xu and informed her of Du Yanyao’s condition, but they also told her that Ye Yongzi was with her, and she decided to wait for their business to finish first before checking on her condition.

“Why are you daydreaming?” Qiao Lingzhi asked as she sat beside her best friend.

Nangong Nichang let out a heavy sigh and turned to her. “Lingzhi, I’m worried about my parents.”

“Hmm? Why are you worried about them?” Qiao Lingzhi asked with an irritated look. “Have you forgotten their intention to hand you over to that bastard Huang Ba? If it wasn’t for Big Sis Yu, you would have fallen into his hands, and you would have become his plaything by now.”

“I know.” Nangong Nichang lowered her face sadly. “No matter what happens, they are my parents, and I wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for them. Moreover, Big Sis Yu told me that they didn’t do that voluntarily, and the people from the Huang Clan might have done something to them, so I want to save them.”

“Your guess is correct, little girl.” They turned to Zhuang Yuan, and she then told Nangong Nichang. “All these years, we have suspected that Nangong Yuhai was enslaved by Huang Xiaoxian, but we were never able to prove it. As for your mother, I know her more than you, especially since I’ve known her for a long time, and she is not as good as you imagine.”

“What do you mean by that, Senior?” Nangong Nichang asked in confusion, especially since her parents sent her to Heaven Secret Sect since she was little, so she didn’t know much about them.

Zhuang Yuan sat beside Nangong Nichang. “As you already know, the Qian Clan is a second-grade clan, and Qian Ye is a very ambitious woman; she is even willing to do anything to get her wish. In fact, Nangong Yuhai never loved her, and he fell in love with Nangong Xiangling instead.”

“What?” Nangong Nichang exclaimed in shock after hearing that; even Qiao Lingzhi looked at Zhuang Yuan in disbelief.

“I didn’t lie to you; your father did fall in love with your aunt, and they have been in a relationship for quite a long time.” Nangong Nichang was completely speechless about that, and Zhuang Yuan then continued her story. “Back then, your grandparents were furious after they found out about their relationship, and Qian Ye was working for them at that time, so she knew about the matter. Anyway, she was a cunning woman, and she tried hard to win their hearts. In the end, her efforts were successful, and they forced your father to marry her.”

The two young girls were stunned after hearing that, and Nangong Nichang then asked Zhuang Yuan. “Did my father just accept their decision?”

“No.” Zhuang Yuan shook her head. “At first, Nangong Yuhai vehemently rejected their decision, but your grandfather threatened him by wanting to hand over the status of his successor to your uncle. After all, your father was no less ambitious than your mother, and he didn’t want to lose his status, so he accepted their decision to marry Qian Ye.”

“I see.” Even so, Nangong Nichang did not expect that there would be a triangular relationship between his father, mother, and aunt.

Zhuang Yuan continued her story again. “Long story short, strange things happened after Nangong Yuhai returned from disappearing for so long, and we got information that he was in a relationship with the Huang Clan, which we clearly suspected of being henchmen of those heretics. Not long after that, Qian Ye also changed quite a lot after he took her to that clan, and we thought that she had also been enslaved by Huang Xiaoxian.”

Nangong Nichang’s expression turned ugly after hearing that, but she suddenly remembered something. “Senior, if your words are true that my father fell in love with my aunt, then why did he allow her to marry Uncle Ouyang Jun? After all, my grandparents are dead, so no one will stop them from being together.”

“I don’t have an answer for that.” Zhuang Yuan replied with a shake of her head. “However, your father also once took Nangong Xiangling to the Huang Clan, and she is probably also one of their slaves now.”

“Wait a minute, Senior.” Qiao Lingzhi suddenly said this to Zhuang Yuan. “If they were enslaved by Huang Xiaoxian, could it be that she sent Aunt Xiangling to the Ouyang Clan on purpose?”

“You are smart, little girl.” Zhuang Yun said that with a smile. “We have suspected it for a long time, but Nangong Xiangling never showed any strange behavior like Nangong Yuhai and Qian Ye, and she never went to the Huang Clan again after that day.”

“Can my parents still be saved, Senior?” Nangong Nichang asked Zhuang Yuan with a look full of expectation.

“Yes and no.” Zhuang Yuan then explained it to her. “In the cultivation world, there are several kinds of enslavement techniques; some have mild effects, and some have very vicious effects. If Huang Xiaoxian uses ordinary enslavement techniques on them, then they can still be saved. However, those heretics are vicious, so I’m sure that she used a vicious enslavement technique, and they wouldn’t be able to be saved if she really used it on them.”

“What is the effect of a vicious enslavement technique?”

Zhuang Yuan sighed heavily. “The worst effect is that their minds and souls will be destroyed; even if they don’t die from it, they will definitely become soulless puppets.”
