Primordial 'Dual Cultivator' Dragon With System

Meanwhile, the man sitting beside Zhang Xingcai felt happy hearing that and inwardly muttered. ‘I didn’t expect the situation to be like this suddenly; if Xingcai really becomes this clan’s Matriarch, then I can rule this clan later.’

The man was Su Yun, Zhang Xingcai’s husband. And the woman sitting on his other side was his second wife, Mu Han.

Mu Han was annoyed after hearing that. ‘This damn bitch! If she really becomes one, my husband will definitely place more importance on her, and she will definitely suppress me later.’

Unlike them, Zhang Wei looked calm, looked at the two guests in turn, and then asked her. “What exactly happened, Madam Feng? Normally, you never meddle in other clans’ affairs, but now you suddenly want to meddle in our clan’s affairs.”

“I know you must be confused by this, but Long Wei and I have an interesting proposal for you.” After hearing that, Zhang Wei and the others raised their eyebrows. “If Xingcai becomes the Matriarch, our Feng and Long Clans will fully support the Zhang Clan.”

“What?” Zhang Wei and the others did not expect Feng Ruxue to give an offer they could hardly refuse.

Long Wei nodded and joined in. “Madam Feng is right, Zhang Wei. If you hand over the leader status to Xingcai, my Long Clan will support the Zhang Clan completely, and I will stop supporting the Liang and Sun Clans. With our support, your clan can become the Upper Clan, and you also don’t need to think about the Nangong Clan.”

Zhang Wei and the others were speechless for a long time, for their proposal was really great for them, especially since they had to compete fiercely with the other three clans.

Moreover, if Long Wei stopped supporting the Liang and Sun Clans, the two clans would be immediately eliminated from the competition.

As for the Nangong Clan, they no longer needed to think about that clan, for Nangong Ying’er would not dare go against the Feng and Long Clans, so the Zhang Clan would be the sole candidate to replace the Shui Clan.

Zhang Wei didn’t answer them directly. He turned to his wife, Lan Meng, and asked through voice transmission. ‘What do you think about this matter?’

Lan Meng answered her husband directly. ‘I think their offer greatly benefits our clan, but you should discuss this matter with Long’er first, especially since you previously decided to appoint him as the next Patriarch. I’m afraid he won’t be able to accept it if you transfer it to Xingcai now.’

Zhang Wei nodded in understanding, but before he could ask his son, Zhang Long had already spoken to him. ‘Father! Although I feel a bit disappointed, I have to think about the future of our clan, and their proposal is perfect for us, so I don’t mind if Xingcai becomes the Matriarch.’

‘Are you sure about that?’ Zhang Wei seriously asked.

Zhang Long nodded to him. ‘This opportunity will not come twice, so we should take the opportunity that comes our way now, and I believe Xingcai can make our clan better.’

‘All right.’ Zhang Wei then spoke to them. “Madam Feng! Patriarch Long! After discussing it with my wife and son, I have decided to accept the proposal of the two of you, and I will appoint Xingcai to become the Matriarch of our clan in two days.”

Zhang Xingcai only smiled at her father’s decision; she then glanced at her husband, who looked excited after hearing that. However, she frowned when she saw Mu Han’s expression, and she inwardly thought. ‘Then what should I do with them? I want to divorce my husband immediately, but I don’t know when Grandpa will return. Sigh, I’d better send a sound transmission to him; I’m sure he’ll be furious after hearing my decision.’

After that, Zhang Xingcai directly sent a sound transmission to her grandfather and informed him of her decision to divorce Su Yun. Sure enough, her grandpa was instantly furious at her, and he decided to return to the clan immediately.

They nodded satisfactorily at Zhang Wei’s decision, and Feng Ruxue stood from her seat. “Since I got your answer, I will return to my clan soon. After you appoint Xingcai as the Matriarch of your clan, then I will send some of my people here and some items through them.”

“Thank you, Madam Feng.” Zhang Wei replied happily, for he knew that the resources of the Feng Clan were extremely beneficial, especially for the younger generation of his clan. ｂｎ𝚘ｖ𝚕．

“I will also do the same with Madam Feng later.” Long Wei said as he stood up from his seat.

Zhang Wei nodded. “Thank you, Patriarch Long.”

They then turned around to leave, and Feng Ruxue said. “Xingcai, come with us; I want to talk to you.”

“Yes, Madam Feng.” Zhang Xingcai immediately stood up and followed them away, but she had already guessed what Feng Ruxue wanted to talk to him about.

Mu Han, irritated by Zhang Wei’s decision, immediately left the main hall, and Su Yun followed his second wife.

After they disappeared, Lan Meng asked her son. “Do you really not mind if Xingcai becomes the Matriarch, Long’er?”

Zhang Long shook his head at her. “Mother, we all know Xingcai is better than me, so I’m fine with that. Moreover, we can get support from the Feng and Long Clans, so I think it’s good for us.”

“All right.” Lan Meng nodded and said again. “Although Xingcai will lead this clan in the future, you two are siblings, so I hope you can support each other in raising our clan.”

Zhang Long nodded. “Don’t worry about it, Mother. I will support Xingcai with all my heart, and we will work together to improve our clan.”

Zhang Wei and Lan Meng nodded with satisfaction at their son’s answer, for they didn’t want their two children to be enemies.

Meanwhile, Feng Ruxue kept watching Zhang Xingcai, who kept her head down in embarrassment. “I didn’t expect that you have such a good relationship with Yun’er; he even asked me to support your clan.”

Long Wei was shocked to hear that; he didn’t expect Ling Yun to ask his daughter to persuade him to support the Zhang Clan because of Zhang Xingcai. “Is it true that you are also his woman? But don’t you already have Su Yun?”

“That is indeed true, Patriarch Long.” Zhang Xingcai replied embarrassedly, especially since her status was still Su Yun’s wife, but instead, she was in a relationship with Ling Yun. “Honestly, I don’t think of him as my husband anymore, especially after he married Mu Han. Since then, I started a relationship with Yun’er, and we’ve been together for a few years.”

Long Wei nodded in understanding; he didn’t like the people of the Mu Clan himself, for they were too greedy. However, he became increasingly curious about Ling Yun, especially since he managed to conquer the hearts of many women, including his daughter. “In that case, why don’t you divorce your husband? I believe Su Yun will change after today, and he will definitely want to control your clan through you.”

Zhang Xingcai sighed softly, she had realized that too, but she couldn’t do anything for now. “My marriage to Su Yun was arranged by my grandfather, so I should wait for him to return first, but I have already informed him of my decision to divorce my husband, and he will be back here soon.”

“I see.” Long Wei only nodded after hearing that.

Feng Ruxue then said to her. “I hope you can convince Zhang Fan to accept your decision; only then can you completely become Yun’er’s woman.”

Zhang Xingcai answered her. “I also can’t wait to become his woman myself, so I’ll try to convince my grandfather as soon as possible.”

“All right, you can go back now.” Zhang Xingcai nodded and returned to her clan, and Feng Ruxue then spoke to Long Wei. “It seems our clan will be on good terms for a long time, but what is your plan for your daughter?”

“Ha ha.” Long Wei laughed at that. “I’ve asked Xi’er to persuade our daughter to bring Ling Yun to our clan, but I’m sure Qiu’er won’t do it, so I’m asking for your help in persuading him to come to see me.”

Feng Ruxue smiled hearing that, for she knew quite a bit about Long Qiu’s character. “All right, I will try to persuade Yun’er to come to the Long Clan, but I’m not sure he wants to go there anytime soon, especially since he already has many plans for his future.”

“No problem.” Long Wei replied with an understanding nod. “Anyway, what do you think the Nangong Clan will do next? I remember that Nangong Ying’er is very ambitious; I believe she won’t just sit idly by with the current situation.”

“I don’t know Nangong Ying’er very well, but you are right that she is very ambitious.” Feng Ruxue paused for a while before continuing. “But I don’t think she would dare to act sporadically against the Zhang Clan, especially since we support them now. Then what about the Liang and Sun Clans?”

“You don’t need to worry about them; I’m sure they won’t do anything.” Long Wei casually replied. “Anyway, I’ll be going to the two clans now.”

“Okay.” After that, they disappeared from that place.
