1497 The Second Prince Saw Through Everything! (2)

At this moment, the Second Prince looked at Wang Teng.

He had seen many of the short clips of the latter fighting in the five forbidden zones. The fellow was a multi-element warrior, and each element was equally powerful.

Although real, it was an absurd achievement, to progress that much at such a young age.

Every person had limited energy. A warrior would need to be extremely talented to train three different elements to reach Wang Teng’s prowess.

And yet, Wang Teng had five. Only the word ‘monstrous’ could describe him.

!!

“And based on that, choosing the right academy is very important. It would be a waste if a lightning-element warrior didn’t enter the academy with lightning legacy. This could greatly affect his future achievements.

“Of course, the difference would be minimal to those with limited talent. The strong foundation any of the seven academies has is enough for their cultivation,” said the noble.

“Which one should I choose?” Wang Teng started contemplating after hearing the explanation. He touched his chin.

The Second Prince was stunned for a moment. “Your situation is… a little special.”

Timothy and the others remembered Wang Teng’s abilities and gave him weird looks.

It’s a tough choice!

“Wang Teng, are you planning to cultivate your elements evenly?” asked the noble in a stern tone.

“Is there a problem with that?” the young hero replied.

The Second Prince continued, “If I’m not mistaken, your five elements are all at the same stage.”

Wang Teng’s information was deemed top secret by the military. The Second Prince wasn’t privy to it, so he didn’t know that the young hero had more than five Forces.

Actually, the military wasn’t fully aware of Wang Teng’s abilities either. They could only record what they saw.

Wang Teng glanced at the noble and replied, “You can say so.”

Timothy and the others were dumbfounded. They had made the same guess, but were still astounded upon hearing the fellow admit it personally.

“Then, you should know how difficult it is to raise all five elements to the celestial stage, right?” The noble gave him a knowing look.

“Erm…” The young hero didn’t know what to say. Will I sound like I’m boasting if I say it isn’t hard?

Well, I don’t think the Second Prince will believe me even if I say so.

“This is why you should make a choice when you’re about to break through to the cosmos stage. Choose the element most beneficial to you and forget the others. Of course, if you’re confident, you can keep three of them, but that’s the maximum; having more would be exhausting in the long run.”

Wang Teng didn’t know what to say as he stared at the noble’s confident stance.

In the end, he chose to stay quiet and contemplate.

Both the illustrious noble and the others noticed how he went into deep thought, so they didn’t interrupt.

In fact…

“Round Ball, which academy is more suitable for me?” Wang Teng asked in his mind.

“The seventh!” said the little helped, eyes rolling as it had foreseen the question.

“The seventh?” Wang Teng was surprised. “Based on what I know, the Seven Stellar Academies are ranked based on their abilities.”

“You’re right. The ranking of the academies will change, but the seventh stellar academy has been in that position for many years. They’ve never risen any higher,” Round Ball said.

“So you mean… the weakest academy is the most suitable for me?” Wang Teng asked. He was at a loss.

“Do you know why they’re always at the bottom?” the little helper asked.

“Why?” The hero didn’t give it much thought, asking back right away.

“That’s because this academy has many martial warriors who want to cultivate multiple elements. The result… you can imagine,” Round Ball answered

“None of them matured?” Wang Teng asked.

“There are a few who managed to grow. However, just as the Second Prince said, most of them can only cultivate three different elements at once, and their cultivation speed is much slower compared to others. Do you think the other talents would stop and wait for these martial warriors to make an appearance?” Round Ball replied.

The little helper knew what Wang Teng was thinking and added, “One slow step, and every step is slow. By the time you reach the heaven stage, your opponent would have reached the eternal stage. How can you compete with them?

“All the warriors who can enter any of the academies are the cream of the crop. It’s not easy to kill someone a stage higher.”

“Is the difference that huge?” Wang Teng was shocked.

“Whaddya think?” the other replied.

“Do the Seven Stellar Academies have legacies for all Forces?” the young hero asked after pondering for a while.

“Yes, but that depends on whether you can get in.” Round Ball knew it couldn’t change the young man’s decision, so it didn’t try to persuade him. It was caught in a web of emotions as it continued, “There are rumors, but I’m not sure about the details; you can wait until the end of the competition to make your decision. The academies’ representatives will show up by then; you’ll be able to ask them personally.”

Wang Teng nodded. He did feel that the seventh academy was more suitable for him, but he would find out more in the future.

The Second Prince and the others stopped chatting; they needed to rest and recover for the second round of competition.

Wang Teng then focused his attention on the attributes board. He received many benefits in the elimination round.

For starters, his wind, lightning, ice, and poison Forces had reached the perfected ninth level of the celestial stage.

That was worth celebrating. He wished he could pop open a champagne bottle.

There was the sensation of all the Forces tossing and turning inside his body. A smile crept up, formed with the corners of his lips.

Next were the ultimas. All his four corresponding ultimate moves had already attained the tenth level of the perfected stage.

It was a great accomplishment. Even the talented warriors with ultimas might not have achieved the same.

Ultimas were probably not as powerful as domains, but their stage was formidable once the perfected stage was reached.

Next were the domains!

Wang Teng received many domain attributes during the elimination round. Thus, all four corresponding element domains reached the fourth rank.

Wind Domain: 3180/4000 (fourth-rank)

Ice Domain: 3340/4000 (fourth-rank)

Poison Domain: 2150/4000 (fourth-rank)

The poison domain was originally at the third rank, and advanced to the fourth rank successfully within the past few days.

At the same time, his lightning domain had transformed completely into the Lightning Spear Domain.

Lightning Spear Domain: 1340/4000 (fourth-rank)

He also received the Golden Luminescence Sword Domain from the Third Prince, but the technique was only at the second rank; he hoped he could get more attributes from that noble.

Wang Teng thought for a moment, then glanced at the Third Prince.

The latter was recovering; he suddenly felt an evil gaze land on him. He opened his eyes abruptly, frowning as he observed his surroundings.

He didn’t notice anything, but then pondered for a bit and stood up when he saw the young hero from the military.

Wang Teng raised his eyebrows. Did the Third Prince discover my intentions?

How is that possible? No one had ever noticed him collecting attributes.

The Third Prince got closer, while still pondering over some matter. He was straightforward. “Wang Teng, give me the Oceanic Unicorn Whale’s horn and I’ll owe you a favor.”

Wang Teng was stunned. He thought of many reasons, but he didn’t expect the noble to make such a request. He felt at a loss. “Your highness, how are you so confident? Do you think your favors are worthy? Why do you keep offering them?”

The Third Prince’s expression froze when he heard the contemptuous answer. He felt anger boil in his heart.
