Fully Leveled Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

Chapter 1186: Chapter 1186: Gouwa Has a Name

Ying Xi was in a dilemma and distressed, but Shu Yu suggested an idea, “Since there will be good days in half a month or a month, why don’t you first come back with me, and then return with your brother. When moving your mother’s grave, having your brother there too would surely make your mother happier.”

Ying Xi was startled, looking at her in surprise, “Miss, you…”

“Then it’s settled. After you finish your business in Tianning County, Uncle Meng and the others should also be back by then. You can travel together back to Jiangyuan County.”

Ying Xi pursed her lips, “But if that’s the case, there will be no one by Miss’s side.”

“That’s alright, there are many people at home, and if something happens, someone can lend a hand. I also won’t encounter any danger in Jiangyuan County.”

It was thus decided, and as it was getting late, the group hurriedly left the city and headed straight to Tianning County.

By the next day, they had to leave.

Uncle Yan’s health had greatly improved, and Meng Pei entrusted the shopkeeper of the tavern across the street to take good care of him. Then he held the ashes urn and went back to his hometown with Meng Yunzheng.

Shu Yu and Zhao Xi, along with the others, first saw them off, and by mid-afternoon, they also set off to return to Jiangyuan County.

The rest of the journey was entirely by carriage, and they traveled slowly due to the presence of the elderly Old Doctor Zhao and the young Gouwa.

Oh, no, now Gouwa has a new name, called Song Le, simple in meaning, just hoping he will be happy.

Little Lele, although not yet speaking, was now able to interact with them.

Old Doctor Zhao said his condition was gradually improving, and perhaps he would be willing to speak soon.

The group wobbled along, and after several days, finally arrived at Dongan Province.

They stayed overnight in Dongan Province and headed straight back to Jiangyuan County the next morning.

As they were about to pass by the Sunflower Manor, Shu Yu suddenly called to stop.

Zhao Xi was a bit puzzled, “Why stop for no reason?” The closer they got to Jiangyuan County, the more impatient Zhao Xi became, eager to fly back to see his fiancée immediately.

He was very displeased with Shu Yu’s stopping.

Shu Yu resisted the urge to roll her eyes, “I want to go check on the manor, what about you?”

“I won’t go.” Zhao Xi replied without thinking, “We’ve been away for a few months, your sister must be very worried.”

Shu Yu, “…” So only my sister is worried, right?

“Alright then, you go back to the county town first, and tell my… sister that we are back and will be home later.” She elongated the word ‘sister’ with a teasing tone.

Zhao Xi chuckled a couple of times, nodding repeatedly, “Sure, sure, sure.”

Shu Yu then looked down at Little Song Le, “Do you want to go back to the county town with Doctor Zhao and the others first?”

Little Song Le pursed his lips, said nothing, but tightly grasped the hem of her clothes.

Alright, no need to say more, this child wants to follow her.

Shu Yu then bid farewell to Zhao Xi and Old Doctor Zhao, and only after watching their carriage disappear into the distance did she rub Little Song Le’s head, “Let’s go, I’ll show you our manor. It’s a pity we’re late; if we had returned a month earlier, we might have seen the golden sunflowers.”

Little Song Le looked up in confusion, not knowing what a sunflower was.

Shu Yu laughed, “You’ll know in a few months, I’ll bring you to see it then.”

Saying this, she opened the curtain to look outside, and as the carriage moved, the hundred acres of land came into view.
