She is the Side Character! — Watch Her Change her fate!

Ah Chen stated that, in that case, she wouldn’t hold back.

Everyone was thinking about collecting items, and since they hadn’t tangled much with the small lobster before, they hadn’t spent much energy. Even Jin Congshuang was cautious not to act rashly.

She thought it’d be a chaotic battle next, so she decided to wait and maybe just grab something casually.

However, she couldn’t get her wish. For some reason, even though the small lobster didn’t leave its territory, it loved attacking her location the most, stirring up the water until it was extremely murky, making visibility poor.

In the end, the group was defeated without gaining anything.

Jin Congshuang wasn’t really interested in those things at the lake bottom; her goal was the lobster. Yet this situation was still quite frustrating for her.

All too soon, everyone had taken turns going underwater. Next, it was an unrestricted time, where everyone relied on their own skills.

People jumped down one after another from the shore, swiftly scavenging the lakebed items, and unapologetically attacking the lobster.

Jin Congshuang and Jin Congmo also entered the water. They weren’t in a hurry to snatch things but looked for a chance amidst the chaos to let Jin Congshuang contract the small lobster.

As the small lobster grew increasingly exhausted and barely held on, Jin Congshuang was delighted and used all her strength to contract it.

Initially, it went smoothly, but then the small lobster suddenly burst out, attacking the Jin Family siblings frantically, as if it had nothing to lose.

While others searched for treasures, Ling Yu and Shi Kui, the two leading the group, didn’t. Instead, they kept their eyes on the lake bottom.

They were the first to see the Jin Family siblings being attacked by the small lobster and rushed to rescue them without hesitation.

But what Ah Chen wanted to do couldn’t be stopped by anyone. She took the opportunity to swiftly launch a series of attacks on the siblings, but merely inflicting severe injuries—not going as far as killing them outright.

After doing this, she no longer manipulated the small lobster and watched as Ling Yu and Shi Kui killed it and retrieved the unconscious Jin Family siblings.

”Why did the lobster attack them so frantically?” Shi Kui set the people down, a bit puzzled, glanced over their condition, and fed them some Elixirs, ”Their Defense Spiritual Treasures are quite good; they shouldn’t have been so severely injured.”

Ling Yu shook his head; he didn’t know either.

”Perhaps there’s something peculiar about this lobster’s attack. It’s normal for Demon Beasts to possess some unusual abilities. Come to think of it, they were both focused on the lobster earlier and didn’t search for other things at the lake bottom. They probably wanted to do something and ended up provoking it.”

Shi Kui understood, ”No wonder it attacked just those two. We’ll ask them when they wake up.”

Zhuo Hong, who also noticed the situation, hurried over to inquire what happened.

Shi Kui briefly explained the situation, and although Zhuo Hong saw the two were injured and not in life-threatening condition, they relaxed a bit upon seeing that they could recover in a couple of days after taking some Elixirs.

”Maybe they had some special use for the lobster,” Zhuo Hong said, taking out an item, ”Junior Sister Jin always likes to study some peculiar things. Why don’t I trade these with you for the lobster, Third Junior Brother and Senior Sister Shi?”

Shi Kui and Ling Yu both nodded; the lobster was useless to them.

What Zhuo Hong had in mind wasn’t much concern to them, and being able to trade it for other things wasn’t bad either.

As for giving it for free, that wasn’t possible; their relationship hadn’t reached that level, and, besides, fostering the habit of giving things away freely wasn’t favorable. In Immortal Cultivation, one also cultivates the heart.

When Jin Congmo and Jin Congshuang woke up and learned Zhuo Hong exchanged them a dead lobster, with a look suggesting they would surely find it useful, the siblings felt stifled yet had to express gratitude. Of course, they wouldn’t just take Zhuo Hong’s things for free and immediately took out something of equal value to compensate.

They could accept things from Ah Chen, even with peace of mind.

But as for others, taking things from them for free might leave a bad impression, making it difficult to tarnish Ah Chen’s image.

Because of such conduct, whenever something happened, those involved with the duo would unconsciously feel they were too kind, and the commissioner was too capricious and irresponsible, implying everything was her fault.

It must be admitted that the siblings were indeed skilled in manipulating people’s hearts.

Ah Chen acted as if she didn’t see, happily picking Spiritual Medicine.

After the lake’s items were entirely collected, everyone climbed up to gather the Spiritual Medicine. Before long, all the Spiritual Medicine here was harvested clean.

Perhaps only the Jin Family siblings were the unhappiest at the scene, unable to show it.

Though the Spiritual Medicine was valuable, it was rather useless to them. Ultimately, they traded the Spiritual Medicine with Zhuo Hong for Elixirs.

Zhuo Hong, holding a Golden Fire Spirit Root, was an Alchemist, naturally taught alchemy by her master Shen Song. The foundational teachings had been imparted before; the rest depended on her own understanding. The Sect wasn’t short of alchemy techniques, and it wasn’t hard for core disciples to access them.

Ever since knowing Zhuo Hong’s demeanor, and her cold attitude towards his daughter, Shen Song was extremely displeased with her.

Later, when Zhuo Hong encountered difficulties in alchemy and sought him for advice, she was bluntly refused, and he wouldn’t even see her, with an attitude much more apparent than towards Pei Feixue. Zhuo Hong, being proud, never approached him again.

Because of these matters, Zhuo Hong took an even dimmer view of the commissioner.

Ironically, despite conflicts with Zhuo Hong, the other seemed to have forgotten it entirely, showing no intention of giving up the identity of a Sect Master Disciple.

Indeed, even without Shen Song’s guidance, she could surely find another way.

Without being a Sect Master Disciple, the troubles and attention she’d face would increase.

The ten days passed quickly, and during this time, most people had gained some rewards.

However, the Jin Family siblings looked increasingly troubled. Ever since entering the Secret Realm, their luck seemed to have soured, obtaining little benefit and expending a lot instead.

Even though there was still plenty of time, they couldn’t help but grow anxious.

”From now on, we’ll be acting separately. I believe you all have adapted and decided with whom to team up over the past ten days,” Shi Kui said, ”So, fellow sect members, it’s time for you to act on your own. Remember, your life is the most important.”

”Farewell then.” Shi Kui was the first to depart in a certain direction, clearly deciding to venture alone in the Secret Realm.

Over these ten days, she fulfilled her duty as the leader, taking care of everyone diligently, ensuring everyone had opportunities to try whatever they encountered.

The Silver Moon Sect’s strength isn’t without reason; the Sect has many disciples like Shi Kui.

Their talents may not be outstanding, but such people form the backbone of a Sect.

It’s uncertain what happened in the commissioner’s timeline later on.

According to Linglong Immortal Monarch’s calculations, the commissioner had ominous outcomes, suggesting some misfortune likely befell her.

In the days ahead, Foundation Establishment Disciples wanting to gain things easily would have to rely on their luck and effort.
