She is the Side Character! — Watch Her Change her fate!

Before I could think much, the Flood Dragon sensed a new cultivation technique in its mind, and with just a glance, it knew it was quite suitable for itself.

Originally, Dragon Transformation was elusive, but now with this technique, the hope has increased significantly. Even if it can’t transform, improving its cultivation is quite good.

”What do you want me to do?”

Ah Chen revealed a meaningful smile: ”When you feel the sensation of control, I will immediately help you break free, then you pretend to attack the crowd, and directly capture Jin Congshuang. When Jin Congmo comes to chase you, attack him with all your might but ensure your safety. If you feel it’s not going well, leave quickly.”

”Let’s make it clear, if you can’t escape by yourself, I won’t save you.”

Having captured the person, a mere Foundation Establishment stage like her couldn’t catch up, so there was no need to throw talismans.

The Jin Family Siblings surely have some trump cards, and the Flood Dragon shouldn’t be able to kill them.

Moreover, Ah Chen never intended to kill them right off; they toyed with the commissioner to their death, so it needs to be paid back in kind.

”I’ll give you a magic treasure.”

The Flood Dragon saw a pair of gloves floating in front of it and quickly wore them on its claws, liking them very much. It could feel that with these gloves, it had become even stronger.

Before long, Ah Chen and the group could already see the waterfall hanging on the distant cliff.

Such scenery is quite common in the Cultivation World; no cultivator would have the leisure to appreciate the view, only interested in whether there are heavenly materials and spiritual treasures here,

and indeed there was a plant of spiritual medicine growing atop the waterfall, shining with an unusual color under the sunlight.

It wasn’t surprising. A Nascent Soul Early Stage Flood Dragon guarded the pool, so either this place was an excellent spot for cultivation, rich in spiritual energy, or there were treasures here.

It could be both.

The Flood Dragon was reminded and wasn’t surprised at all seeing Ah Chen and the group.

Now equipped with a powerful cultivation technique, it wasn’t as concerned about the spiritual medicine on the waterfall.

However, having guarded this spiritual medicine for years, it certainly wouldn’t turn a blind eye and let cultivators harvest it.

It caught the previous transmission wave, and its dumb voice sounded in Ah Chen’s mind: ”Senior, do you want the spiritual medicine on the waterfall?”

This wave was intentionally left by Ah Chen, not expecting the Flood Dragon would ask her about it.

Ah Chen replied, ”No, you might as well pick it along the way.”

Not that she really cared for these much; as the commissioner, she wasn’t short of spiritual medicines.

The spiritual medicine on the waterfall was precious but not particularly rare.

Jin Congmo and the others naturally noticed the spiritual medicine, but none approached it immediately.

”I’ll go and pick the spiritual medicine later; most likely there are demon beasts here,” Jin Congmo said, ”With my cultivation, I’m not afraid of demon beasts appearing; it will definitely try to stop me. Then, while I’m fighting the demon beast, you all go and take the spiritual medicine.”

The others nodded, agreeing with this arrangement.

”We should spread out a bit, so if anything unexpected happens, we can escape.” Jin Congshuang immediately followed, turning her gaze to Ah Chen, ”Junior Sister Pei, you should be alright, right?”

Pei Chen had many good items in her hands, and their smooth journey thus far was mostly thanks to her.

If Jin Congshuang suggested sticking with Pei Chen to take care of her, it would be odd, and people might think she’s taking advantage of Pei Chen.

Since they were spreading out, naturally, each of them should stand in a different position.

Ah Chen responded, ”Senior Sister Jin, don’t worry, I’m fine.”

Jin Congshuang lowered her eyes, determined to win.

No matter whether Pei Chen could against the Flood Dragon in the pool with her possessions, this time her brother must be severely injured to save Pei Chen.

The Flood Dragon might not harm Pei Chen, but what if he visibly sweeps her away, and the senior brother goes to rescue?

Jin Congshuang took a deep breath; controlling a Nascent Soul Stage Flood Dragon wasn’t easy. With her ability, she could only control it for a short while, merely ten breaths, but that’s enough for the Flood Dragon to sweep Pei Chen away.

After they finalized the plan, Jin Congmo slowly moved toward the spot of the spiritual medicine.

Ah Chen and others stood around, at about the same distance from the spiritual medicine.

Seeing Jin Congmo gradually approach the spiritual medicine, there was suddenly a commotion under the pool; a Flood Dragon burst into the sky, heading straight towards the spiritual medicine, snatching it into its mouth and swallowing it down.

Jin Congmo couldn’t react in time, his face turning ugly.

He had his plan, but this spiritual medicine was a must-have for him.

The original plan was to harvest the spiritual medicine while his sister could control the Flood Dragon; he didn’t expect the Flood Dragon to be so fast.

No spiritual medicine; there’s no way around it.

However, he couldn’t let go of this Flood Dragon.

To kill a Nascent Soul Early Stage Flood Dragon would require a lot, and fortunately, he had such a trump card.

However, before that, he had to continue the charade and ensure that Pei Chen was seriously injured.

Getting this Flood Dragon plus the compensation from Pei Feixue made this trip worthwhile. With that in mind, the spiritual medicine just swallowed by the Flood Dragon seemed insignificant.

At that moment, the Flood Dragon sensed the feeling of control, and simultaneously, another force helped it block the danger of being controlled; it felt a lightness in its body and mind.

Without hesitation, it did not care about Jin Congmo, turned towards Ah Chen and the others as planned.

It first rushed toward Ah Chen, and just as it was about to approach, it suddenly changed direction, charging toward Liu Yao and Fu Yue, blowing a playful breath at them before finally rushing towards Jin Congshuang.

Jin Congshuang sensed something was wrong, but the Flood Dragon had already swept her up and was flying far away.

Jin Congshuang, at the Foundation Establishment stage, even if her true combat power exceeded that, couldn’t cross two major realms to deal with a Nascent Soul Stage Flood Dragon.

She felt panicked inside; having just controlled the Flood Dragon, her spirit felt exhausted, and she couldn’t even struggle, just being swept away like that.

”Junior Sister Jin!” Fu Yue shouted, quickly chasing after.

Jin Congmo had long reacted, swiftly chasing in the direction where the Flood Dragon disappeared, but his mind was still a little muddled. How did the Flood Dragon end up capturing his sister?

Could it be that the Flood Dragon had sensed his sister’s control, so it targeted her?

This unexpected turn of events was unforeseen by anyone; he didn’t have much time to ponder. The sole task was to rescue his sister from the Flood Dragon immediately; otherwise, who knows what might happen.

”What’s going on?” Liu Yao finally came to her senses, calling to Ah Chen, ”Junior Sister Jin has been captured, let’s quickly follow and see.”

”Little Junior Sister, do you have anything to deal with the Flood Dragon?”

Ah Chen said, ”Mainly just those talismans. What strength does this Flood Dragon have? We can only catch up and give it a try.”

In fact, she mainly had defense spiritual treasures, not many attack spiritual treasures.

Because with the commissioner’s cultivation level, she simply couldn’t use those powerful magic treasures.

Talismans were different; they had no cultivation limit, and as long as there was spiritual power, they could be activated.
