HP: I AM SHERLOCK HOLMES

Seeing that Sherlock hadn’t forgotten about him despite investigating the case, Harry was somewhat touched, his lips were trembling.

”Sherlock, I...”

But Sherlock spoke as if prophetically: ”No need for thanks, my dear Harry. This is just something I happened to see while looking for materials.”

Hermione, standing nearby, said to Harry upon hearing Sherlock’s words, ”I can confirm that Sherlock did just pick this up in passing.”

Harry: (╥﹏╥)

’You two coordinate pretty well!’

Sherlock: ”If you don’t want to read the book, there’s actually a simple and direct method.”

Harry immediately became interested: ”What method?”

”Just buy a Nimbus 2001, or add money for a Nimbus 2001 Super. Due to the Firebolt’s sudden appearance, their prices have all been affected. Plus, it’s currently the Christmas promotion season—a perfect time to get them.”

Although all three present weren’t short of money, Sherlock still considered economic factors when thinking about the problem.

If it were before, Harry would definitely have said, ”Anything Malfoy thinks is good, I won’t buy.”

But now he wouldn’t say that.

After all, Malfoy had already apologized to him, and he hadn’t just apologized verbally, he had also taken practical action afterward.

Since that time, he had never come to provoke him again. If it were before, he would definitely have mimicked Harry’s falling action from the broomstick every time he saw him.

Moreover, he now had the same experience as Harry—falling from a broomstick and breaking his leg, and his one-year-old Nimbus 2001 had also been smashed to pieces by the Whomping Willow.

Harry was originally a broad-minded person, and seeing this situation, he didn’t hate Malfoy so much anymore.

Instead, he felt a sense of shared misfortune.

”Then I’ll take a look first.”

”Mm, the editor of this magazine once wrote a blurb for Quidditch Through the Ages. The introduction to various broomsticks is also very objective—I think it’s quite suitable for you.”

Hermione added a comment as well.

For the rest of the day, the three stayed in the library reading.

Sherlock was looking up case materials related to Black.

Hermione was reviewing her coursework. Having selected all available courses, she was already feeling somewhat exhausted.

But she still gritted her teeth and persevered, not missing a single class.

Harry naturally was comparing broomsticks in Broomstick Collection, wanting to select one suitable for himself.

After lunch, Ginny and Luna, two young girls, came together.

Still in second year, they didn’t yet meet the requirements to visit Hogsmeade village, so they stayed at school.

Ginny came here mainly to see Harry or rather, to let Harry see her.

Ever since she witnessed Cho Chang helping Harry remove his blindness with the Flame-Freezing Charm during the timeout in the last match, Ginny’s mindset had changed.

Ginny’s feelings for Harry weren’t unchanging but gradually developed over time.

September 1, 1991—Sherlock and Harry’s first year at Hogwarts.

When Mrs. Weasley was seeing off Ginny’s brothers to Hogwarts, Ginny saw Harry Potter at King’s Cross Station, the legendary Boy Who Lived.

When they first met, Ginny really wanted to see Harry up close.

Unfortunately, she was stopped by Mrs. Weasley, who solemnly told her that Harry wasn’t a monkey in a zoo.

Her behavior was not only impolite but would also disturb others, which made Ginny very regretful.

When the first school year ended, Ginny once again accompanied her mother to pick up her brothers.

This time, she excitedly called out when she saw Harry.

This also made Harry formally notice Ginny’s existence.

After formally meeting Harry, Ginny kept hoping she could grow up quickly and go to Hogwarts to study like her brothers.

However, at this point, Ginny’s feelings for Harry were mostly admiration. Growing up hearing stories about the wizarding world’s savior, as a young girl, she inevitably had idol worship and wanted close contact with Harry.

In the summer of 1992, the opportunity came.

Sherlock, Harry, and Hermione traveled to Godric’s Hollow, and to Ginny’s complete surprise, Harry ended up staying at the Burrow.

It was during this period that Ginny’s feelings for Harry gradually changed subtly.

Ginny was an early-maturing girl, especially compared to her sixth brother Ron, she seemed considerably more mature.

During Harry’s stay at the Weasley home, she often secretly observed Harry.

She would even deliberately knock things over during meals to attract Harry’s attention.

Before the school term started, at Flourish and Blotts, when she saw Malfoy mocking and ridiculing Harry, Ginny resolutely stood up to defend Harry.

This ultimately led to a fight between Big Malfoy and Big Weasley.

On Valentine’s Day, she mustered the courage to send Harry a greeting card.

However, this not only caused Harry trouble but also inexplicably attracted Professor Snape’s attention.

In fact, by this point, Ginny could already be said to have awakened to love.

If things had continued developing this way, it might have taken several more years before Ginny realized her feelings for Harry.

But at this moment, a strong and powerful competitor appeared.

Cho Chang, a British-born Asian witch, a year older than Harry, a Ravenclaw, and also the Seeker for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team.

Her appearance made Ginny prematurely realize that her feelings for Harry were no longer just a girl’s admiration for her idol.

Similarly, Cho Chang’s appearance plunged Ginny into deep distress.

Because the progress between Cho Chang and Harry was getting faster and faster, and Cho Chang’s advantages were far too obvious.

She was beautiful, excelled in her studies, had a gentle personality, and was excellent at sports.

No exaggeration, having such a girl appear at school was simply every boy’s dream girl; she was too likable!

Although Ginny thought her beauty was no less than Cho Chang’s, and coming from a pure-blood family, she hadn’t fallen behind in magic, and having played Quidditch with her brothers since childhood, she was good at sports too.

And her plus point, for cooking, she could learn from her mother, Molly Weasley who was an excellent housewife.

But her biggest disadvantage was age.

One year younger than Harry, two years younger than Cho Chang.

Even in second year, Harry still treated her as a little sister.

Perhaps in another year or two, he would realize she was different.

But by that time, at the rate Harry and Cho Chang were progressing, they’d probably be kissing already!

When Ginny shared her troubles, her best friend Luna said this was very easy to solve.

Just tell Harry her feelings directly, wouldn’t that work?

However, Ginny thought this would scare Harry.

Seeing her friend insist on this, Luna could only offer another suggestion.

Appear in front of Harry often, bravely show herself, and attract his attention.

If Ginny couldn’t even speak when Harry was in the room, that simply wouldn’t work.

Luckily, another fanatical Harry fan, Colin Creevey, appeared and objectively helped Ginny.

When Ginny stopped Colin’s crazy fan behavior, she also drew closer to Harry, making him notice her and finally overcoming the problem of blushing and being unable to speak when she saw Harry.

But this wasn’t enough, far from enough.

Cho Chang’s progress was getting faster and faster, especially after the new school year began, her performance in the two Quidditch matches was simply amazing.

Damn it!

Having someone she liked for the first time, and gaining a lifelong best friend.

Two joys overlapping, and this double joy brought even more and more joy.

She should have obtained dreamlike happy times, but why did it turn out like this?

It was me, I came first! I was here first for everything!

Because of this, Ginny was determined to catch up while Harry stayed at school and Cho Chang was away.

To make her purpose less obvious, she deliberately brought along her best friend Luna.

Besides, Luna had a good relationship with Sherlock too.

Speaking of which, if Luna could get closer to Sherlock, it would be even more helpful to her own situation.

However, Luna said Ginny was overthinking it, she came here purely to share her views with Sherlock.

”Sherlock, the moon frogs call in the clock tower like rusty clockwork. When their bulging eyes spin into compasses, shadows always learn to crawl.”

”Sorry, Luna, but there’s actually no evidence that such a creature really exists.”

Hermione, sitting nearby, put down her book and said to Luna.

”But a wizard claimed he rode a Cleansweep Six to the moon and brought back a bag of moon frogs.”

”You said it yourself—claimed,” Hermione said with a frown. ”He couldn’t prove that bag of frogs was really brought back from the moon.”

”No, it must be!” Luna said firmly. ”My whole family thinks so.”

Hermione sighed and decided not to continue discussing this issue with Luna.

At this moment, Sherlock spoke up and asked, ”So you already have ideas about how Black infiltrated the school?”

Hermione sharply turned to look at Sherlock, her eyes were full of surprise.

Wait, how did you get that meaning from what she said?

Harry and Ginny, who had been researching broomsticks, also looked up, surprise on their faces as they looked at Sherlock.

However, the following conversation between the two surprised the three even more:

”Sirius Black’s head might have a Wrackspurt inside that learned Transfiguration.”

”Infiltrating the school through transformation... that’s not impossible.”

”I still think we shouldn’t let Harry repair his broomstick alone in the moonlight, those biting memories love to hide in silver shadows.”

”That’s why Harry didn’t go to Hogsmeade this time.”

”...”

Hermione, Harry, and Ginny looked at each other.

’What on earth was this?’

They could understand every single word Luna said, but when put together, they couldn’t understand at all.

Even more absurd was that Sherlock could communicate with Luna without any obstacles?

At this moment, the three remembered something.

In every respect, Sherlock couldn’t be considered a normal person.

So... this was communication between two abnormal people?
