HP: I AM SHERLOCK HOLMES

Arthur Weasley had Sherlock and Harry sit down and looked around. ”Isn’t Mr. Holmes at home?”

”Uncle Holmes and Aunt are out on business.”

After saying this, Harry immediately asked urgently. ”Mr. Weasley, what exactly happened?”

Mr. Weasley didn’t answer immediately, but turned his gaze to Sherlock. ”This matter... did Arnold tell you?”

”What else?” Sherlock asked back, ”I couldn’t have guessed it myself, could I?”

”Really, that fellow Arnold...”

Mr. Weasley shook his head and showed a helpless expression. ”Since that’s the case, I can only tell you...”

Hearing Mr. Weasley’s words, Harry immediately perked up.

Although he initially didn’t understand why Mr. Weasley had come specifically to Sherlock’s house, much less why he was so anxious that he had to use magic to open the door.

But through his conversation with Sherlock, Harry already had a vague guess in his mind.

Looking at Mr. Weasley’s demeanor, he seemed prepared to reveal this matter.

That was good.

He hated that feeling of being kept in the dark most of all.

However, what he didn’t expect was that just as Mr. Weasley finished speaking, Sherlock said.

”Actually... you’re the one who wants to tell Harry about this, aren’t you?”

”Huh?”

”What?”

Mr. Weasley looked at Sherlock in surprise, the shock in his eyes beyond measure.

Harry first looked at Sherlock in surprise like Mr. Weasley, then immediately turned his gaze to Mr. Weasley.

He was already confused by Sherlock. What was going on exactly?

To get Mr. Weasley to the point as quickly as possible, Sherlock spoke at an extremely fast pace.

”First, you just used the Unlocking Charm to forcibly enter my house, yet you emphasized that this matter had Ministry approval.

If you truly had official authorization, why not contact us through normal channels beforehand?

Even Ron has learned to use the telephone, and I don’t believe Mr. Weasley, who is more interested in the Muggle world, wouldn’t know how to do this.

This seemingly reasonable but unnecessary caution actually exposes your attempt to create the illusion of urgent official business to cover your true purpose.

Second, your left lapel button is fastened incorrectly, and your cuff has small wool fibers on it, the exact type of wool Mrs. Weasley typically uses when knitting sweaters.

There’s a fresh tear on your left elbow, caused by someone grabbing you urgently.

Also, your tie is crooked, you have obvious bags under your eyes, you were very happy to see Harry initially, but then immediately showed embarrassment.

So, I made a dual deduction. recently you’ve been under constant mental stress, your happiness upon seeing us stemmed from confirming our safety, while your embarrassment suggests you’ve gone against certain people’s wishes.

These people include both your superiors and your wife.

From this, we can further deduce that before coming here, you had an argument with Mrs. Weasley about this matter.

Third, when I mentioned Black saying ’he’s at Hogwarts now’, your first reaction wasn’t to question the truth of the statement itself, but to urgently ask whether the person who told me was Peasegood. This eagerness was as obvious as ink on white paper.

Fourth, Mr. Peasegood, as a member of the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad, has no jurisdiction over Azkaban prisoner interrogations, yet he clearly knows the content of Black’s sleep-talking before his escape from Azkaban.

Fifth, I received three letters total, all warning about the escaped convict Black, but only Mr. Peasegood knew Harry was staying at our house, and he mentioned that the Ministry would soon have someone come to our house.

Contradictory behavior, abnormal information, and jurisdictional logic, these three cross-verifications are sufficient to reconstruct your struggles within the Ministry and with your family.

From my understanding of the Ministry, Minister Fudge probably treats Harry like a child, while you oppose his infantilizing perception of Harry.

On the other hand, you’re trying to reconcile with your wife, ultimately choosing this roundabout way to awaken Harry’s crisis awareness.

So, there’s only one truth—”

Sherlock paused.

”You, Arthur Weasley, are the one who truly wants to tell Harry about this.”

Under the surprised gazes of Mr. Weasley and Harry, Sherlock looked intently at Mr. Weasley.

”So, what exactly do you want to say?”

”Hiss—”

Mr. Weasley couldn’t help but draw in a sharp breath.

He was stunned for several seconds before looking at Sherlock and slowly said.

”If I didn’t know you well enough, I’d really suspect you secretly used Legilimency on me.”

”Mr. Weasley, you’re not the first person to say that to me.”

”Yes, yes... I can imagine...”

At this point, Mr. Weasley showed a bitter smile.

”Just as you said, I believe Harry has the right to know all this.

I tried to tell Fudge, but he insists on treating Harry like a child, even though Harry is already thirteen years old.”

”Thank you, Uncle Weasley.”

Harry said quite emotionally, he was fed up with being lied to and deceived.

”No need to thank me, Harry. There’s no point in not telling you this.

You know, when we learned that Black had escaped from Azkaban, the entire Ministry went crazy.

Now it’s clear that he’s coming for you, even if Fudge won’t let the papers report this, the facts won’t change.

If you hadn’t happened to come to Sherlock’s house at that time, I should have appeared on Privet Drive by now.

However, your coincidental arrival here is actually more convenient than Privet Drive.”

”Convenient for what?”

”For surveillance, or rather protection, compared to the Dursleys, we would obviously be more cooperative with the Ministry.

So... Mr. Weasley, you did indeed have an argument with Mrs. Weasley earlier?”

”Yes, Molly thinks Harry is absolutely safe at Hogwarts, and telling him the truth would only frighten him.”

”Heh, the Ministry also said Azkaban was absolutely safe before, yet someone escaped without anyone knowing, and they even told the Muggle Prime Minister about it.”

”Ahem... that’s what I said too.

But Molly would rather Harry have a pleasant mood at school instead of returning to school with such a mental burden.”

”It’s all right, Uncle Weasley. As long as Professor Dumbledore is at Hogwarts, Black definitely can’t get in.”

Harry finally understood the whole story. In short, Sirius Black was looking for him. He took a deep breath and said under Mr. Weasley’s worried gaze.

”You know, I don’t want to play the hero but honestly, Sirius Black can’t be more terrifying than Voldemort... uh, sorry, I didn’t mean to.”

The previously smooth conversation came to a halt when Harry mentioned Voldemort.

Mr. Weasley visibly flinched when he heard the name.

”It’s all right, Harry. I know you’re braver than Fudge imagines, but that’s not what I came here to talk about today.”

”Then you mean...”

Seeing that Mr. Weasley was still hesitating, Sherlock simply said for him.

”You want Harry to stay in Hogwarts castle until Black is caught, not going anywhere, right?”

Hearing Sherlock’s words, Harry was stunned.

Mr. Weasley was taken aback, then showed a bitter smile.

”Indeed, nothing can be hidden from you, sorry, Harry, this is the one point where Molly and I agree.

You and Sherlock have never been the settling-down type, always sneaking off to play.

As far as I know, you’ve gone into the Forbidden Forest more than once.

But Harry, Sherlock, you absolutely cannot do this again this year!

You know, just on the road from Privet Drive to here with your uncle, anything could have happened!

Just thinking about it still gives me chills!

Thank goodness you arrived here safely. For the remaining time, the Ministry will provide you with strict protection until you enter Hogwarts.”

It took Harry a long time to recover from his shock. He finally understood why Sherlock had said earlier that he couldn’t go to Hogsmeade this term.

Although he knew Sherlock’s deductions had never been wrong, he still asked with a glimmer of hope.

”Is it really like this, Mr. Weasley?

You want me to promise to be a good child and not leave Hogwarts castle?

Not even go to Hogsmeade?”

Seeing Harry’s dejected appearance, Mr. Weasley felt somewhat ashamed, but still nodded.

”Yes, but not entirely.”

Hearing Mr. Weasley say this, Harry, who was already dejected, felt even worse.

Not being allowed to leave the castle wasn’t enough?

What else do you want from me?

Sherlock, however, looked at Mr. Weasley with interest, waiting for his continuation.

He could sense that Mr. Weasley had prepared something big.

Sure enough, the usually gentle Mr. Weasley became serious.

”Harry, I want you to promise me that you absolutely will not go looking for Black.”

Harry was stunned. ”Mr. Weasley, what are you talking about?”

Sherlock raised an eyebrow, said ”oh” softly, then showed a thoughtful expression.

”Promise me, Harry,” Mr. Weasley continued as if he hadn’t seen Harry’s surprise, ”no matter what happens, you absolutely must not go looking for Black.”

”But... why would I go looking for someone I know would kill me?” Harry asked in confusion.

He even wondered if Mr. Weasley had been driven to mental disorder by Black’s prison break.

Knowing someone wants to kill you, yet going to find them?

What would that be - feeling like you haven’t lived long enough, seeking death?

”Because...”

Mr. Weasley’s face suddenly showed a hint of hesitation, as if he had something difficult to express that prevented him from telling Harry straight out.

”Please, Mr. Weasley, tell me the truth!”

Seeing him like this, Harry immediately became anxious.

Saying he was already thirteen and had the right to know the truth.

But when it came to key questions, he started being evasive again. Are you toying with me?

Thinking this, he couldn’t help turning to Sherlock. ”Sherlock...”

Harry’s intention was to get Sherlock to help persuade Mr. Weasley.

He never expected that after seeing his friend’s pleading gaze, Sherlock directly gave the answer.

”So... Sirius Black is that person, isn’t he, Mr. Weasley?”
