I Materialized the Cultivation Game

Chen Shuisheng arrived quickly and asked hurriedly, ”Xiaohan, what’s so urgent on the phone, do you have any instructions?”

Chen Han smiled and said, ”Uncle Shuisheng, bring a few people with me up the mountain. In the past two days, I’ve been checking the records, and it seems the family’s Feng Shui Array is dependent on the geographic formation of the mountain behind us. Recently, the energy overflowing from the array seems to have affected the vegetation on the mountain. I want to take a look at that patch of bamboo forest on the mountain. Perhaps the bamboo leaves can be used to make Thunder Bamboo Spirit Tea!”

”Really?” Uncle Shuisheng’s eyes lit up upon hearing this.

”Not sure yet, Uncle Shuisheng, please bring people and come with me first!” Chen Han instructed, then walked out of the Frying Pan Furnace.

Chen Shuisheng immediately followed, then called on a few people responsible for picking tea leaves to come along.

The mountain behind the Chen Family spans quite a distance; one side is adjacent to the Chen Family, while the other side faces Shangyuan Village, where the bamboo forest is located near the village.

So, Chen Han led the group out of the Chen Family and into the village.

The entire Shangyuan Village has undergone tremendous changes now; the village roads have been cleaned, looking neat, and even the small paths within the village have been cleared and paved with stone slabs for tourists to stroll on.

You can see some houses with tourists coming in and out, indicating that the village’s homestay resources have already been utilized.

After all, the Chen Family now receives so many tourists daily that their accommodation capacity cannot meet the demand, spilling over into the village’s homestays.

Additionally, the village has started building a very large grass skiing project on a piece of self-retained hillside. Once the project is completed, as tourists are coming anyway, they will certainly want to try it out.

Upon reaching the foot of the mountain, you can see the village has already developed a large pond. Chen Han knows the village plans to create a fish pond to offer activities like fishing, and even field snail hunting and catching loaches.

Some people say that tourists wouldn’t be so bored to play this?

No, they would actually love it.

Just swipe through some short videos, and you’ll see how popular these projects are. Tourists delight in rolling in the mud, making rural-born people shake their heads in disbelief.

”Patriarch Chen.” Guo Zhen saw Chen Han and his group and immediately rushed over to greet them, panting.

”Village Chief.” Chen Han also responded politely.

Guo Zhen took a couple of breaths and asked somewhat awkwardly, ”Patriarch Chen, I’ve heard that the Chen Clan members are almost fully recruited now. If the Chen Family plans to hire more in the future, please consider the young people from the village.”

This news is easy to uncover if anyone is interested, so keeping it a secret is virtually impossible.

Now, most of the Chen Clan members who used to work outside have returned, except those who have gone to university and found good jobs. These individuals wouldn’t return for a salary of five thousand or even seven thousand yuan to work physically.

Even with the same seven thousand yuan salary, those who work physically would return home without hesitation. But some sitting in offices with air conditioning, earning seven thousand yuan, would certainly not return, as they find physical work undignified, even if they might not save money with seven thousand yuan outside.

After all, different environments, educational experiences, and backgrounds lead to different thoughts.

Therefore, the Chen Family will have to hire externally for future project development.

Guo Zhen feels he’s incapable of leading everyone to wealth creation, but he is certainly able to lead everyone to rely on someone powerful, so upon seeing Patriarch Chen and his group, he rushed up.

Chen Han heard this and pondered for a moment before saying, ”Village Chief, technically speaking, the Chen Family is also registered as Shangyuan Village residents, and if there is a chance, we’ll definitely support the village as much as possible.”

As the village chief said, when the Chen Family develops new projects, external recruitment will be necessary.

For instance, if it’s confirmed that bamboo leaves from the mountain can be refined into Thunder Bamboo Spirit Tea, the Frying Pan Furnace will surely need to hire more. Within the clan, those who chose to stay behind or have returned are already fully arranged.

Future operations will involve transferring clan members with lower salaries to Thunder Bamboo Spirit Tea frying positions, increasing their salaries, and then hiring new people to fill their previous positions.

Moreover, once rape seed cultivation is sorted out, planting rapeseed will be inevitable, and with the planting area being very large, a lot of manpower will be needed.

When there aren’t enough clan members, external recruitment becomes the only option, which was also discussed by Little Uncle, Uncle Dagou, and Uncle Shuisheng.

The idea is to hire among relatives because the Chen Family has many daughters and daughters-in-law married into the family, and their families have young people in need of jobs, who would be more than willing to do a 5,000-yuan job in their hometown.

Naturally, relatives can be hired, there’s no reason village people can’t be hired—after all, as the saying goes, ”A distant relative is not as good as a close neighbor.”

However, whether hiring relatives or village people, or even people from neighboring villages in the future, supervision must be strict.

Those who perform well in the clan will definitely be promoted to basic management positions.

Just like before, when faced with military chaos and bandit threats, the Chen Family gathered young men from the surrounding ten miles, and the excellent Chen Clan members usually served as leaders of various teams of these young men.

This way, the patriarch’s commands could be conveyed thoroughly, ensuring every young man followed orders; otherwise, assembling young men would be ineffective in resisting chaotic troops and bandit threats.

Although it’s a new era now, without chaotic troops or bandits, some operations are certainly analogous, using excellent clan members to oversee others.

”Thank you, Patriarch Chen.” Guo Zhen was thrilled to receive an affirmative answer.

He has realized that the Chen Family will definitely develop better and better in the future, and by forging a close relationship, young people from Shangyuan Village can prosper just like the Chen Clan members without having to drift elsewhere.
