The dragon's harem

Arad was right, and so was Lydia. No matter what Poppy’s motives or reasons were, she was still a threat that needed to be neutralized in any possible way. Arad wasn’t going to let her roam free and drop his guard, especially when not all of his wives could fight. Poppy had proved she was a credible threat when she attacked Mira, so now, Arad wasn’t going to sit still and wait.

But he wasn’t the only one facing a difficult decision today, since a second guest had arrived at Amaterasu’s church after Mary the Metallic Queen did. This second guest was also a woman, a tall and well-built one who looked like a fighter, but only wore a single-piece white dress that looked like something pilgrims would wear. Her olive skin radiated with light as she walked through the church’s hall, and her auburn hair burned with divine magic as two nuns approached her and knelt down.

“Lady Angel, we were informed that you might arrive today. Amaterasu should be expecting you in her private abode.” As the two spoke, the angel stared at them in silence for a second, then growled. “Only kneel to the goddess, not me. Stand up.”

The two nuns stood, and one of them offered to guide the angel toward Amaterasu’s holy abode. While the angel now could clearly sense where Amaterasu was, it was more respectful to let the nuns guide her, since this was their home.

Soon, the two nuns led her to a massive golden door that dripped with divine magic and was engulfed with holy water dew. The two angels gently bowed, and one of them spoke.

“Lady angel, this is as far as we go. Only the most faithful of mortals are allowed inside, and even they never walk out again.” The first nun took a step back. “This is where the elderly who spent their whole life serving her divinity find rest; they walk into her embrace and meet death to ascend to her domain.” The second nun added.

The angel looked at them, then at the massive golden door. “I see, that explains the pilgrims outside. They came here to see her divinity’s approval.” She smiled. “So, she is really working out to help… but…”

She then paused for a second and asked. “By any chance, are all the people who got accepted women?”

The two nuns stared at each other for a second and then smiled. “As expected from a true angel, you know the goddess well. Indeed, everyone who was accepted was elderly women nearing their lives’ end.”

The angel rubbed her temples. “It can’t be… that… no, I’ll go inside. Thank you for guiding me here.”

The two nuns stared at each other for a second and then turned to leave. The angel was left alone, then reached toward the door. “She better not be messing around…” But as much as she hated or disagreed with it, Amaterasu was the only one keeping the universe together, spearheading the fight against the abominations, and even with how debauched she might be, she was always right about everything.

The angel pushed the door open and walked into the near-endless hallway. She had come here right after recovering from that incident, when Arad’s mother, Violet, and Cain fought and left a gaping hole in the ocean. At that time, she had tried to put Arad and Gojo to sleep with a divine spell, but failed and was wounded by that.

Amaterasu told her that she would explain things, even to a mere angel like her if she came to the church to see her, so here she was, seeing the truth about Arad’s power, identity, and why the gods are allowing him so much power and freedom.

After walking through the hallway for nearly half an hour, she finally reached a massive door and saw two mortal nuns, young and strong, standing at each side as guards. The nuns outside said that Amaterasu only allowed the elderly here, and those looked to be in their early twenties, so that means that Amaterasu made them young again in their last days of life.

Amaterasu can control the stars, heavy and massive objects that can bend space and time, so getting people younger again seemed possible. Besides, she could as the Mother of All Life for help, which took the angel to the second strange thing.

Right from behind the door the two nuns guarded, she could hear the loud, echoing moans of life and pleasure, Amaterasu and her private archons, the Mother of All Life, Death herself, Yog, the Metallic Queen, and even the void of a stranger, a nun probably. She probably didn’t want to see what kind of crazed madness those goddesses were indulging in right now.

“How long have you been here?” She asked one of the nuns, and after a second, she got a shaky reply.

“I’ve been standing here for two days, and she has been here for three.” The other nun nodded. “We don’t need to sleep here, but we feel hunger, thirst, exhaustion, and… frustration all too well.”

The angel rubbed her face. “Did she… the goddess Amaterasu, get you to do this?”

“Yes and no.” The nuns both replied at the same time, then just one of them explained. “All of us who came here to ascend and become angels were offered the option to immediately ascend to heaven. Many of us did just that; tens of faithful are already angels in heaven, but…”

“But what?” The angel asked, and the other nun replied with a smile. “The goddess asked if any of us are willing to sacrifice our last days here, for this… her pleasure.” She looked at the door, listened to the moans for a second, and then turned toward the angel.

“She told us that it wasn’t for any grand purpose or anything, we won’t even get more power or anything for it. She just asked if we could give her ourselves, the last few days of us.” The nun looked at the angel and smiled. “Since we only have a few days left in the mortal world, we agreed to let her do whatever she wants with us.”

The angel looked at them for a second, then growled. “Listen, I know that Amaterasu is great and all…” She wasn’t going to even address her formally. “But you know she is a twisted, horny, debaucherous, disgusting whore who only goes after women, with the exception of her late husband, Cain.” She looked at them with a tired face. “You don’t have to cater to her stupid bullshit, just go to heaven and become angels or rest if you want. This won’t help anyone, you’re literally wasting the last days of your lives here… to no better thing than carnal pleasure, of her, not yours.”

The two angels giggled. “You look really stressed about it, don’t you?”

The angel almost snapped, but she sighed instead. “What else do you think? I’m serving under a great, but a whore goddess. Everyone in the divine realm knows about her, but no one can tell her to stop and behave herself because… not even because of her power, but because she is always right about things.”

One of the nuns patted the angel on the shoulder. “Listen, we know. She told us everything, and it isn’t just her. The gods are perverted and twisted by their nature, when you reach that level of power and dominance, you’ll only have your desires to seek.”

The other nun tapped her on the back. “She isn’t harming anyone, so let her be. Go inside and talk with her if you need to. We will wait here until she calls us inside.”

The angel sighed. “Sorry, I am going to see her. I hope we meet again in the divine realm, next time as angels.” She reached toward the door, listening to the wild moans inside, and then knocked on it.

“Angel Neptune seeks an audience.”
