The dragon's harem

Inside a titanic cold room, twelve demonesses had gathered under the direct order of the Demon Goddess of Destruction. This was no simple matter; two of them were even in the middle of killing each other when the order arrived.

There was no table, no chairs, and no lights in the desolate room, just pure darkness and roiling demonic magic. Those twelve stood far apart, each of them taking her spot and resting, awaiting the arrival of their goddess.

“Now, what did you do to have our goddess save your sorry ass?” This Demon Lord was the size of an average human, but instead of looking like one, she had four arms, red skin, four eyes, a muscular body, and a pair of titanic wings.

She was called the Demon Lord of Wrath, a violent asura demon who only cared about her own power, expanding her domain, and killing all those who got in her way. And now, she glared at the succubus far ahead of her with a smug smile.

“Won’t you answer me? Or are those slaves really that skilled?”

Far ahead of her, a succubus lay on the ground surrounded by seven human female slaves, who once were her cultists and worshippers. Unlike the healthy-looking Demon Lord of Wrath, she was riddled with bleeding wounds, had one of her wings torn off, and even had a hole punched into her guts.

The Demon Lord of Wrath gained her power through rage and anger, and this one was the Demon Lord of Lust, getting her power from sexual pleasure and desires. Those slaves she brought weren’t here to heal or tend to her wounds, but simply for her own pleasure, which would help her recover faster. Kali had only invited women, so the Demon Lord of Lust had to be content with those women.

The Demon Lord of Lust lifted her hand and formed a wall of black shadows between her and the Demon Lord of Wrath. She didn’t want to hear, see, or deal with her now.

A sharp and high-pitched voice boomed across the hall, calling the Demon Lord of Lust. “You have to get cleaned up before Our Goddess arrives. I can heal you if you want.” The one who spoke was a fairy, a demonic one. She had ashy skin, a body full of tattoos from head to toes, and had two green eyes burning with magic as her long black hair flailed with her demonic magic.

That fairy was the Demon Lord of Betrayal, and everyone here knew that trusting her words was nothing but a death sentence.

“You say that as if you’ll actually help me.” The Demon of Lust glared back at her, then sighed. “You just want to take this chance to get rid of me.” She then smiled. “But our Goddess invited me here. If she arrived and found me dead, do you know how you’ll end?”

The Demon Lord of Betrayal burst laughing. “Of course I know. She’ll beat me to an inch of my death.” She then glared at them with a grin. “But I’ll have ruined whatever she was planning here, and that to me is a win.”

The Demon Lord of Lust sighed, and the Demon Lord of Wrath shook her head. “You’re the only one crazy enough to think of killing and replacing our Goddess. You’re so insane that she doesn’t even take your brazen threats seriously.”

“What are you all, kids? Stop arguing and be quiet!” A human little girl shouted at them from the shadows, and when the three looked, they could see her. Short, skinny, wearing ragged clothes, and covered with mud, dirt, and blood.

While anyone would’ve been confused, the other Demon Lords weren’t blind. They could see the real horror standing there, and that little girl was nothing but an illusion cast by the monster hiding in the shadows behind her. The Demon Lord of Illusions is an ancient being that no one has ever seen before. Even the Demon Lords in this room could only sense her presence and not see what she really looked like.

Kali did see her, and she described her as being disgustingly cute, like a pug.

“And! Who are you to tell them what to do? Cowards who hide in mirages!” A loud, booming voice shook the entire place like a blast. Everyone looked toward the source with worried faces. The Demon Lord who just spoke had once fought Kali and survived. She is now hailed as one of the most violent, deadly, and destructive demons of all time.

The Demon Lord of Bursts glared at everyone, her massive black horns crackled with fire, her humanoid titanic body, which stood at five meters tall, rumbled, and the air itself around her started bursting into flames.

“Demons are chaotic and destructive, so let them kill each other. That way, only the strong and useful to her Lordship would remain.” As she glared at them, her eyes flashed red, the muscles on her body flexed, and every demon within a thousand kilometers of the meeting location felt her presence and fled in terror.

The Demon Lord of Illusions remained silent and then sighed. “Fine. Just calm down a bit. Her Lordship ordered us to gather here, so we should do that. Not go against her will and kill each other.”

“She is right.” Another Demon Lord spoke; this one looked like a regular human zombie, a woman with tattered clothes, rotten skin, and protruding bones. “We obey her Lordship’s commands no matter what they were. We all had been pulled out of our plans, so bear with it.”

That was the Demon Lord of rot, a cursed patron of zombies and undead. In the past years, she faced a surprising event. Her archnemeses had died, and someone else took her place. She was in the middle of amassing her army when this order arrived; otherwise, she would rather be marching to kill that newly assigned Fungus Demon Lord.

White dust danced through the room, and another Demon Lord sighed. “I’ve told you, didn’t I? Leave that new Demon Lord alone. Rumors have it that she is married to her Lordship’s consort. Harm her, and you might have her Lordship’s foot down your throat.”

This one was the Demon Lord of Ash, a force of nature here in the abyss. She never showed her true form and always moved like a cloud of ash. Some even say that she is the living consciousness of her layer, an endless ash desert that has been smoldering for thousands of years.

The Demon Lord of Rot giggled. “I think she’ll be happy if I kill her. Besides, I won’t mind her Lordship shoving her foot down my throat. I’ll take it as a reward.” She then smiled, “And if I killed and absorbed her power, I would become much more powerful and useful to her Lordship.”

Beside them, two other Demon Lords were listening. One of them, a woman with large ox horns, muscular body, and hooves for feet smiled, looking at the harpy sitting beside her. Those were the Demon Lord of Beasts and The Demon Lord of Harpies.

“Do you know anything about this meeting? Among us, you’re the one who got the most contact with her Lordship.” The Demon Lord of Beasts asked, and the Demon Lord of Harpies looked around, then signaled for her to get closer.

The Demon Lord of Harpies looked like a regular woman, naked, with wings for arms and talons for legs. Her voice was gentle and sweet, but it carried with it waves of mind-melting demonic magic. She whispered into the Demon Lord of Beasts’ ear.

“I heard her Lordship is just one of many wives her consort has, and that she is gathering us today to show us that, and have us show submission to him.”

Hearing that, the Demon Lord of Beasts looked at her with wide open eyes. “Do you know how crazy that sounds? Her Lordship is too powerful that even if we all combined, we can’t reach her. What kind of Absolute Demon is that consort of hers?”

“All I know is he trained with God Slayer Kayden, so calling him an Absolute Demon might be accurate. If he is anywhere near that power, it might be possible.” She shivered as a demon Aura washed over her. She looked aside and saw a tall, red-skinned demoness with short horns and bright red eyes approach.

The demoness who wore leather clothes and carried a large metallic club was the Demon Lord of Carnage, a violent, bloodthirsty, and uncontrollable maniac. But here, she was strangely calm.

Behind her, a human-looking woman walked, wearing tattered holy clothes and a cracked symbol of a long-dead god. She looked forward, her golden eyes flashed, her blond hair shimmered, and her pale skin radiated holy light. She is the Demon Lord of Hope, probably the most dangerous person in this room.

The Demon Lord of Carnage pointed at the Demon Lord of Hope with her thumb and smiled. “She got an interesting rumor.”

The Demon Lord of Hope shook her head. “It isn’t a rumor, but a fact.” She looked at them. “The Mother of all Demons had once referred to her Lordship’s consort as Daddy, and I confirmed that her words were no kink or joke. He is her father.”

The two Demon Lords stared at her for a second and then laughed. “Since when did that thing have a father? She had existed since the abyss was created. They don’t call her the womb of the abyss for nothing.”

The Demon Lord of Hope nodded. “Exactly, so whatever he looked like, did or said. Make sure to nod, say yes, and never argue back. We aren’t going to stand in front of a regular demon, but in front of a being that we can’t even understand.”
