Re:Zero: Wrath Route Yandere Emilia Watches the Projection

[”My, what a silver tongue.”

Elsa’s teasing gaze carried a vicious, icy edge.

”It would be even better if you could hide that hostility of yours!”

But then her expression shifted, and her voice lightened almost playfully.

”Well then, I’ll leave it here for now. I have a feeling we’ll meet again.”

Elsa rose and took her leave — and as she did, she withdrew the hand she had placed over Natsuki Subaru’s abdomen, on top of his own palm.

That hand had gotten there because Subaru, startled a moment ago, had instinctively reached down to cover his stomach.]

”Ahh~ That was wonderful!”

Below the screen, Elsa’s cheeks were flushed, her breathing rapid, her full chest rising and falling in quick waves, as though she were riding a tide of pleasure.

”What a cozy little spat. Especially knowing that if Subaru says one wrong word, I kill him with my own hands — that kind of tightrope walk is just… irresistible~”

”Hmph. Disgusting.”

Beside her, Emilia’s gaze was ice-cold, dripping with contempt.

Did this woman really think she could compete with her for Subaru?

Couldn’t she see how frightened Subaru already was?

”No matter how she looks at it, Elsa doesn’t stand a chance. Absolutely not.”

[Natsuki Subaru quickly tracked down Felt, and after trading barbs with her for a bit, he finally made his way to the Loot House for the exchange.

Knock, knock, knock.

The transaction was underway when a knock suddenly rang out at the Loot House door.

”Who is it?”

Old Rom squinted toward the entrance, puzzled.

”Might be my guest — though they seem a bit early.”

With that, Felt moved toward the door to open it.

”Don’t open it!”

Natsuki Subaru’s whole body trembled, his mind flooding with flashes from the second loop — Elsa forcing her way into the Loot House and slaughtering everyone inside.

”You’ll be killed!”

He cried out the warning in helpless, desperate horror.

As the door slowly swung open, the dying light of the setting sun poured through the frame — a radiance that felt like the last glow of the world before hell arrived.

And yet, the figure standing in the doorway was not Elsa.

”Who’s talking about killing anyone? I don’t just go around doing dangerous things like that out of nowhere!”

A silver-haired beauty poked her head in cautiously, and after confirming there was no danger, stepped squarely into the center of the doorway, pouting and speaking with clear displeasure.

Satella — no, Emilia — pressed one hand against the open door and stood there with her other fist planted on her hip, visibly puffed up with indignation.

At the sight of Emilia, Natsuki Subaru’s expression of shock froze solid on his face.

Felt’s jaw dropped open, her face written over with the unmistakable guilt of someone caught red-handed by the very person they’d robbed.

Emilia swept her gaze around the room, then knitted her brows in that adorably furrowed way of hers, visibly working hard to make her expression look cold — hoping that would successfully communicate that she was angry.]

— Was this meeting a reunion, or a first encounter?

[After a brief standoff, Natsuki Subaru reminded himself of Emilia’s gentle nature — so utterly unlike the cruel Bowel Hunter — and let out a breath of relief.

”Alright, alright. At this point, Felt, just hurry up and return the badge. And Sat —”

”Actually, never mind. Just get out of here as fast as you can, and watch that badge so nobody steals it again.”

”What’s with you all of a sudden…”

Emilia was thrown off-balance by Natsuki Subaru’s sudden warmth and ease.

She was about to ask him about it — when she saw the look of sheer terror flood across Subaru’s face, and heard him shout.

”Puck, barrier — now!”

In the nick of time, a conjured magical circle intercepted the blade Elsa had already sent flying.

”That was a close one — you really saved us there!”

Puck popped his little head out from within Emilia’s hair and gave Natsuki Subaru a thumbs-up.

”Nice work, Puck — and thankfully it’s not past five o’clock yet, so you haven’t clocked out. I owe you one!”

Natsuki Subaru shot back, genuinely delighted.

”A spirit… hm, an actual spirit. How wonderful.”

A laugh — one that sent chills crawling down the spine — suddenly rang out, a woman’s voice soaked in malice.

Elsa’s blade had cut through nothing but air; she flipped in midair and landed without a sound.

”I’ve never sliced open a spirit’s belly before.”

She stared at Puck with rapt, unblinking excitement.

Felt clearly knew who Elsa was, and her anger at Elsa’s betrayal of their agreement was plain on her face.

Elsa, however, turned it around and blamed Felt for doing a sloppy job — which was why Emilia had followed them here.

”All talk and no results when it counts!”

At this point, as far as Elsa was concerned, the only option left was to kill everyone in the room.

”Don’t you dare joke with me!”

Natsuki Subaru surged forward in fury, planting himself in front of Felt and screaming at Elsa.

”Stop getting your kicks from picking on a child that small, you guts-obsessed freak!”

”Felt is fighting her hardest just to survive, and you have the nerve to throw a tantrum because your little plan got derailed — what, are you five years old?!”

”Do you have any idea how much it hurts to get your stomach cut open? Because I do! Show some basic respect for life, you absolute piece of trash!”]

”Subaru, you’re so cool! Pushing past his fear to buy time for my magic by tearing into Elsa like that!”

Hearing those words, the love in Emilia’s eyes nearly overflowed.

Because yes — on the surface, Subaru was standing up for Felt. But she knew the truth!

She had long since recovered the memories of past loops, so of course she knew the real reason Natsuki Subaru was screaming at Elsa like this.

And a Subaru like this — in her eyes, he was the most dazzling person in the entire world.

”Ahh~ That’s right, Subaru — keep insulting me, just like that!”

Beside her, Elsa squirmed restlessly in her seat.

This Subaru was nothing like the quiet, tight-lipped one she knew.

This Subaru, hurling insults at her without an ounce of mercy, was giving her a completely different kind of experience — like a door to a whole new world had been thrown wide open.

By now she was drenched in perspiration, damp strands of hair clinging to her flushed cheeks.

”What a shame — I can’t actually receive Subaru’s punishment in person. Just being yelled at is nowhere near enough~”

A flicker of genuine regret crossed Elsa’s face.

[”Alright! That’s enough stalling!”

After going on at length to hold Elsa’s attention, Natsuki Subaru finally stopped once the timing felt right.

”Puck — go! Finish her!”

”Quite the clumsy little performance — worthy of the ages. Allow me to meet your expectations then!”

The spirit Puck channeled all the magical energy he had gathered during that window of time, crystallizing it into hundreds of ice pillars that erupted around Elsa from every direction, leaving her nowhere to flee.

”My name is Puck, young lady — remember it before you die.”

Puck winked mischievously, gave a little wave of his tiny hand, and the pillars came swarming in, swallowing Elsa whole.

A barrage of that scale should have frozen Elsa into one massive block of ice.

At the very least, it should have left her completely immobilized.

Yet what followed defied everyone’s expectations.

The enormous ice block encasing Elsa held for only a single second before it shattered apart.

”This is what they call coming prepared.”

Elsa laughed softly — she had anticipated even this.

Using the black anti-magic cloak she wore, she had nullified what would have been a single fatal strike.

With a flash of light, the cloak on Elsa’s body dissolved in an instant, revealing the lavishly ripe figure beneath.

Her pale, smooth shoulders were bared to the open air.

Her full, supple chest was pushed up and forward by the form-fitting garment underneath.

Her long, shapely legs — wrapped in black stockings — were drawn taut, balanced atop a pair of black heels.]
