Ms. Diviner: The Prodigal Daughter's Return

Chapter 1355: Chapter 1355: Submit or Not? Obey or Be Beaten into Submission

”So, if I help you tame this Angry Dragon Beast, does that mean the third task is completed?” Han Yan repeated.

”Well, that would be great, but you’re not joking, are you?” Yan Zishu asked suspiciously.

No wonder he was skeptical. He had spent thirty years trying to tame this Angry Dragon Beast, learning countless Beast Taming Techniques, yet always failing. Seeing this young girl with such extraordinary Alchemy and Sword Casting Techniques was already unbelievable, how could she also know Beast Taming Techniques?

”Of course not,” Han Yan replied with confidence.

”As long as you help me tame this Exotic Beast, I will do my utmost to heal your friend.” The situation was critical, and Yan Zishu had no time to think more, he said decisively.

Originally, he didn’t want to make things difficult for the other party, but it was she who proposed the condition, so he couldn’t be blamed.

”Also, my Beast Taming techniques might be different from others. You just watch, don’t intervene.” Han Yan reminded again.

Yan Zishu nodded. To protect the Yan Family members, he had already decided to kill this Angry Dragon Beast, so he naturally wouldn’t interfere. He was also very curious about Han Yan’s Beast Taming Techniques.

After speaking, Han Yan walked towards the Angry Dragon Beast. After a few steps, she turned to look at the old man and asked, ”By the way, do you have anything to say this time?”

The old man’s face reddened with shame, and he was too embarrassed to say anything more. Being repeatedly humiliated by Han Yan, he wasn’t a masochist.

Soon, Han Yan stood before the Angry Dragon Beast.

The Angry Dragon Beast’s roar paused slightly, and it tilted its head in confusion, looking at Han Yan, as if wondering why this tiny human would deliver herself to death.

”I’ll give you a chance; obediently sign the Heaven and Earth Contract with him, and I’ll let you go.” Han Yan pointed at Yan Zishu and told the Angry Dragon Beast.

The Angry Dragon Beast blinked, looking at Han Yan with a look that said, ”You’re an idiot,” clearly understanding her words. Most High-level exotic beasts had such capabilities, and even if they didn’t, having spent thirty years with Yan Zishu, it would have learned to understand.

”Roar... roar... roar...” The Angry Dragon Beast suddenly tilted its neck and roared, but the roar lacked anger, instead sounding like laughter.

Indeed, it was laughing, laughing so hard it was bent over, clutching its belly, almost out of breath.

To a top-order exotic beast like the Fierce Stone Demon, Han Yan’s words were the world’s funniest joke.

While laughing, the Angry Dragon Beast appraised Han Yan’s small frame, silently pondering: Should I smack this oblivious little thing to death with one slap or two?

”Oh, it can laugh, how cute,” Han Yan remarked in surprise.

Behind her, Yan Zishu’s face turned pale. Cute... she actually described the Angry Dragon Beast as cute? The Angry Dragon Beast was notoriously ferocious among Exotic Beasts, and having ventured into the Longyan Mountain range, Yan Zishu understood its ferocity more than anyone. How could he associate it with the word ”cute”?

The few elders also looked at Han Yan in astonishment, suddenly feeling the world had gone mad.

Alright, we admit your Alchemy Technique is impressive and your Sword Casting Technique is even more surprising, but those don’t fully represent cultivation. Facing the brutal and violent Angry Dragon Beast, how can she be in the mood for jokes? Is she tired of living?

The old man who had been humiliated by Han Yan several times almost couldn’t help making a sarcastic comment again, but after touching his still-warm cheeks, he held back.

Huayue and the others had strange expressions too, but instead of worry or surprise, they showed pity: this poor Angry Dragon Beast is going to have terrible luck.

”Roar!” Finally, the Angry Dragon Beast stopped laughing, angrily roaring and waving its paw as it charged at Han Yan.

On that millstone-sized giant paw, dozens of silver spikes suddenly protruded, like spears forged from Refined Steel, extremely sharp.

”Watch out!” Yan Zishu instinctively shouted.

Though he hadn’t experienced the ferocity of the dragon beast’s spikes firsthand, he had witnessed it. Even the Fierce Stone Demon, when not using its Innate Ability Petrification Technique, struggled to withstand it. A single swipe left rows of holes.

With Han Yan’s small stature, that paw would tear her to shreds.

If Han Yan hadn’t already instructed him not to interfere, he would have rushed forward to help. Having seen her Alchemy and Sword Casting Techniques, he was more convinced of her extraordinary background. Refusing her request might cause some resentment, but not enmity. However, if she were to die in the Yan Family, her backing would surely blame them, creating an irreconcilable enmity.

Nervously watching the Angry Dragon Beast charge at Han Yan, Yan Zishu’s face turned a bit pale.

”Sigh, I didn’t want it this way, but you brought it upon yourself, so don’t blame me,” Han Yan sighed, uttering words that left Yan Zishu and the others even more speechless.

Just as she finished speaking, the Angry Dragon Beast froze, and its movements became sluggish.

Before the onlookers understood what had happened, Han Yan leaped high and stomped on the Angry Dragon Beast’s head.

With a ”bang,” the Angry Dragon Beast crashed to the ground, its raised paw still descending slowly... slowly enough to make viewers anxious.

Using the Rebound Force, Han Yan leaped high again and landed heavily, her foot once more on the dragon beast’s face.

Without giving it any respite, Han Yan pounced again, raining down blows and kicks.

Sometime during the chaos, an exotic beast resembling a small cat appeared at her side, bouncing off the Angry Dragon Beast’s face, stomping and kicking, its little paws whirling like windmills scratching at the Dragon Beast’s face.

All the while, it shouted with spittle flying: ”How dare you disrespect the master? I’ll scratch you until your face blooms like a peach so you’ll know why flowers are red.”

Though small, its paws were incredibly sharp, each swipe leaving claw marks on the Angry Dragon Beast’s face, blood splattering everywhere.

The Angry Dragon Beast’s claw finally came down, not on Han Yan, but tightly clutching its head, a whimpering sound escaping its mouth.

Yan Zishu and the others stared in wide-eyed astonishment, struck speechless.
